Love this place, my home.
Placements: In my course, most of the students get off campus placeme at different roles like Librarian, Library Assistant and even in KVS or other schools like NVS as librarians. You can also work as Kmowle managers in MNC's or as librarians in private schools.
Infrastructure: The labs are very good. Wi-Fi is free even in hostels. The food and other stuff like the campus is also very good. I love the canteens here as they're affordable too. This is a place where dreams come true and it is on 6th position in India, so you know.
Faculty: It'a tough job to survive in places like BHU. The department has a reputation of good off campus placements and its one of the best courses in India. The teacher are always helpful. The semester exams are not that hard but hard work is needed.
Other: I chose this course for job and more exposure. Events and fests and scholarships are from IIT BHU, Faculty of arts. Sports events are also organized. And best thing about our course is you'll learn compassion, have a community here. Teachers are very helpful.

The faculty and the curriculum of the college are good.
Placements: Right now no such placement facility is there, but shortly we can expect. The department conducts training programme and gives the stipend. During the training period, professionals are trained in the central library and its department library. Works are in progress to meet these problems so the students can be benefited at maximum.
Infrastructure: The department has a very good infrastructure, and the related facility is at par excellence like a library, computer lab etc. The life on the campus is very much soothing as the environment provides a very good place for learners to study. The campus is built in an area of 2600 acres providing good space for every discipline. There is a very well-equipped library of the department.
Faculty: The faculty are highly qualified and well-experienced. The course is very well taught in 2 years. It provides ample opportunity for students to qualify for net/JRF within the completion of the course only. The faculty are very much helpful and treat their students as their part of the family. The course is regularly reviewed as per the UGC guidelines. This course is regular here which is offered very few in this country.
Other: The department has got many glories like the father of the library science in India Dr SR Ranganathan was once librarian of this university. He profound many initiatives which had lead to the excellence for everyone associated with library profession.

It is a very good course with good career options.
Placements: Almost 60% of the students got placed on their own. The department doesn't provide any placement program in the course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 70,000 per month for the post of college librarian and assistant librarian in the university. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 for the post of library assistant. The course offers internships of one year to 40 students in various libraries of the university.
Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and a library in the department. There are various chambers for faculty members and a room for research scholars. I was not staying in the hostel. However, the hostel of this university has one of the biggest accommodations in Asia.
Faculty: All the teachers have a good knowledge base. They were helpful and qualified. It is a professional course, and it is highly relevant in making students industry-ready. This course curriculum has been designed by Curriculum Design Committee, i.e., CDC.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is a less-known professional course which can give you jobs. The course gives you a job in teaching or a library professional, and both of them are a reputed profession and provides a healthy career.
