Candidates with Post-graduate in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grades can apply.
In the case of SC/ST candidates, there will be no requirement for minimum percentage of marks in the aggregate in the qualifying examinations except that they must have passed the qualifying examination and appear in the counseling/test/interview conducted by the concerned Department/ Centre.
For OBC and PC candidates, there will be a relaxation of 5% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination in minimum eligibility requirements in comparison to general candidates.
All things being equal, students having P.G. degree in language/ literature/linguistics shall have preference.
