Bit Mesra through Swapnil's telescope.
Placements: In my course, 70% of the students were placed. Top recruiters were Reliance, Tata, and Tech Mahindra. Many opted for software roles in companies like Goldman Sachs and Atlassian. Internships are offered by companies like Microsoft. EEE candidates are eligible to sit for software positions during campus placements.
Infrastructure: This is the best part of the college. The campus is very beautiful and large. In the first year, you will get a winner hostel which is also well-maintained, and the quality of food is good. You will receive food four times a day, including evening snacks. Free Wi-Fi is also available, and each hostel has a separate playground for sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful and kind. However, you will feel that the teaching methods and course curriculum are outdated. Also, the management here is not active and will delay your work as much as they can. The semester exams are very difficult, with a passing percentage of about 75-80%. You will always feel the pressure of the syllabus, and most of what you learn will not be in use.
Other: Based on my JEE rank and with the home state quota, this was the college I got as I was not interested in studying any non-circuit branch in any NIT. I think that students should be given more practical training, and entrepreneurship activities should also be increased. The campus crowd is very good here, and seniors are very cooperative and helpful. Two fests are organized on a grand level in this college; the first one is Pantheon, and the other is Bitotsav.

Underrated yet rated college.
Placements: Every year, approximately 80-90 students out of 120 get placed in this course, i.e., around 65-70 percent. The highest package grabbed was 51 LPA, 11.2 LPA was the average, and the lowest fell to 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, PayPal, Oracle, PwC, Amdocs, Goldman Sachs, and many more. Internship opportunities are a lot better here; 30 percent of students got an internship last year from companies like Jindal, PwC, semiconductor NXP, etc. Multiple roles are offered here in this course as ECE engineers in analog, VLSI designing, etc.
Infrastructure: Campus infrastructure is quite better and up to the mark, better than most of the NITs and tier 2 colleges in India. Campus Wi-Fi is available 24*7; labs are well-equipped. Both hardware and software labs are well-managed. Classrooms contain projectors, adequate space, proper ventilation, and a good number of comfortable chairs. There is one rich library continuing a variety of books and a different section for self-study, available until 9 pm every day. Hostel facilities are far better than most colleges; hygiene is maintained up to a good level. There are plenty of winner canteens, medical shops inside the campus. For sports and games, there is a Sports Complex which contains multiple gyms too! Food quality is up to the level, not that good but satisfactory!
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and experienced; they have a decent background in studies. One can check all the details of professors from the BIT official website. Yes, the course curriculum is decent enough for holistic development and personal growth of students; there is a healthy environment among all the students as there are numerous clubs, societies, and engaging groups. Semester exams are not that hard; one can score good marks if consistency is there; some of the professors are really helpful as they share all the study materials and assist in all ways possible. The pass percentage is 40. Two quizzes, a mid-sem, and then an end-sem take place in each semester.
Other: As placements are decent enough in ECE, almost comparable to NITs and most of the other tier 1-2 colleges in India, so it's better to opt for this course. It would be better if the time period for each sem could get increased for some months; sometimes it really gets difficult to create a balance between studies and all other extracurricular activities. BITOTSAV and PANTHEON are the popular events here; the campus crowd is decent; you explore and meet new people. GP Birla scholarship is there for students who perform extraordinarily in their studies.

Birla Institute of Technology Ranchi Mesra Review.
Placements: Our college placements are decent, with the average package for CSE being 21 Lacs and for my branch, EEE, it's around 12 Lacs. All students can get on-campus placements, and there are also off-campus placements available. 80 percent of students got placed last year. My plan after graduation is to pursue an MBA by taking the CAT exam.
Infrastructure: Campus life is good; you will meet students from different parts of the country, and the gender ratio is 10:1, which is decent. There are different clubs according to students' interests. There are a total of 6000 students on campus, and the crowd is not too big. Different fests are held for fun. The hostel facilities are very bad; they are very rude and don't listen to anyone. They make very bad food, and the mess is just smelly, and they don't provide enough meals. The registration process is at the time of admission. The quality of the meals is like you can barely stay alive.
Faculty: All the facilities are from well-reputed colleges, and the faculty-to-student ratio is 10:1. Yes, they are very good at teaching, and all are well-experienced. They interact with students during the class sessions. I cleared the JEE Main exam with a 95 percentile and got this college in CSAB counseling, although I don't like the branch I got because it is considered to be the toughest branch in Engineering. The frequency of the JEE exam is once a year with 2 attempts at JEE Main.
Other: I have cleared the JEE Main exam with a 95 percentile and got this college in CSAB counseling, although I don't like the branch I got because it is considered to be the toughest branch in Engineering. The frequency of the JEE exam is once a year with 2 attempts at JEE Main. Many annual and technical fests are held, like Pantheon, Rudra, by the different societies and clubs of the college. Many cultural activities occur from time to time. Sports and the annual athletic meet occur in the month of February.

Our college is good in terms of facilities, environment, and academics.
Placements: Placements at our college are very good, and better companies are coming to our campus to hire students. Great salary packages are offered to us.
Infrastructure: Everything like electric appliances, wires, and all the things used in our department is provided to us. The facilities in our hostel are very good. They provide beds, washrooms, mess, and facilities for football, cricket, volleyball, etc.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful to us and all have good knowledge. They are well qualified. Semester exams are difficult for those who study little, but they are easy for students who study harder.
Other: I chose this course because I have some knowledge of it. All the types of events are organised, and all the other things are very good.

Wonderful hostel life, average infrastructure, sports, and gym facilities are freely provided.
Placements: Almost 90% of students at our college were placed where the highest package offered was around 30 lacs CTC, the lowest being 7 lacs CTC. Top recruiting companies in circuital branches like Accenture, Infosys, Goldman Sachs, Qualcomm, and Siemens, and in non-circuital branches like Tata Motors, Tata Steel, and L&T, are the top companies that come to our college for recruiting graduates. Unfortunately, in our batch and in our course, only 10% of students have secured internships at these companies.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure is very good; you are provided with a 24-hour Wi-Fi connection with speeds up to 7-8 mbps. Labs are well-equipped with all instruments, but measuring equipment often comes in the condition of not working. Classrooms are well furnished with air-conditioned rooms, and the faculty is very good. The library is filled with all types of books, whether relating to the engineering field or any competitive exams, but no air conditioning is provided, and even the computers have been removed from there. Talking about hostels, the infrastructure is average, but you will enjoy your hostel life there. I have been residing in Hostel 11, and 24 hours of Wi-Fi are there. Sports facilities are also provided, and gym facilities are provided free for the students.
Faculty: Teachers are all Ph.D.-qualified, coming mostly from NITs and prestigious IITs. Teaching quality is good and very helpful to students, but not in the case of attendance. The course curriculum is relevant as most of the laboratory experiments are inclined to provide students with knowledge of industry work. Semester exams are not tough if you work hard and are smart. I myself never got any backlogs in my semesters.

Hello, No, BIT-Mesra fills its seat via JEE Mains, not via JCECE. People often get confused between BIT Mesra and BIT-Sindri, they are different colleges. One is Birla Institute of Technology-Mesra and other is Birsa Institute of Technology-Sindri.

Yes, you will definitely get BIT-Mesra with 128 marks. Also, your class 12th percentage is more than 75%, so no issues at all. Just wait for the JoSAA counseling 2017.

It may be a loophole but at the end, all that matters is your knowledge and personality. There are some companies which don't allow drop outs to sit for the placements but most of the companies don't differentiate between drop outs and freshers.
