This is a common entrance exam that is applicable for admission of candidates in every stream such as Management, Humanities, Science, Commerce, Engineering, etc. To get admission to any of the courses offered at Chandigarh University, students have to apply for this exam on the official website of CUCET and appear for the exam. This exam is conducted in an online mode in two phases. For admission to any of the courses, there are two decisive factors that are considered by the university for admission. These are eligibility criteria and CUCET scores.

Q:   Is Chandigarh University (CU) good for B.A. LL.B.?

A:
{Source: B.A. LL.B. students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here are some key points to consider:

Pros:

* Good infrastructure: The university has a beautiful campus with state-of-the-art facilities, including libraries, laboratories, and moot courts.
* Experienced faculty: Most professors are well-qualified and knowledgeable in their fields, providing excellent guidance and mentorship.
* Placement opportunities: While the placements for B.A. LL.B. students might not be as strong as other streams, several students have reported receiving internships and job offers from reputed organizations.
* Campus life: CU has a vibrant campus culture, with various events, festivals, and competitions organized throughout the year.
* Supportive environment: Students praise the university's approachability and willingness to listen to concerns.

Cons:

* Limited placements for law students: Some students feel that the placements for law students are not as robust as other streams, although efforts are being made to improve this aspect.
* Strict attendance policy: The university has a strict attendance policy, requiring students to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance for examinations.

Conclusion:
While Chandigarh University might not excel in all areas, it offers a good blend of academic and extracurricular opportunities for B.A. LL.B. students. Chandigarh University: The Best University.
Placements: My course is travel and tourism, there are almost 70 students in my batch. We all learn tourism. The highest package offered was around 26 LPA and the lowest package offered was around 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, etc., which came to our university. Around 70-80% of students get good internships in our course.
Infrastructure: The facilities are designed for the use of students in a good manner. The classrooms are well-equipped with computers, smart boards, and air conditioners. Labs are also well-equipped with computer monitors and smart boards. There is a good connection of Wi-Fi everywhere. The facilities of hostels are also up-to-date with good and healthy mess food.
Faculty: The teachers in our course are quite helpful and informative. They always help students in the college hours and also after the college hours. They are highly qualified and supportive to all students. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. The exams are not so tough; it depends on the course you choose and how deep your knowledge is about the same.
Other: I chose this course because of my deep interest in traveling and exploring new places in my country. The things which could be better can be the infrastructure of the labs; they could be made more engaging with new technologies.

Around 60-80% of students secure internships, and top roles include hotel manager, front office, event manager, and marketing executive, among others.
Infrastructure: The facilities at this college are quite good. The classrooms have projectors and air conditioning, and the hostel is clean and fully furnished. The food is hygienic and healthy, and medical facilities are available 24/7. There are also many sports available.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, and they have both practical and theoretical knowledge of each and every subject. The curriculum is very relevant and prepares students for the industry. Exams are held after each month, with final exams at the end of the year. Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course is good; we have Wi-Fi in all the classes. Classrooms are well-maintained with all the basic facilities. We have many libraries in the university, and the biggest one is in the B1 Block. Hostel facilities are available with 4 and 5-seater options.
Faculty: The faculty here is very good and has good knowledge and experience in their respective fields they are teaching. We also have a uniform here; for HM, it's black and white, while for the other departments, it's blue and white. Also, in the university, there is relative marking.

Sky-High Dreams: Thriving in the Aviation World at Chandigarh University!
Placements: So, when it comes to placements at Chandigarh University, students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester onwards. A variety of companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering different profiles and packages. Some of the top companies that visit the campus include tech giants like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, as well as leading companies in various industries such as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, and Wipro. The number of offers made by these companies varies each year based on their hiring requirements. In terms of packages, the highest package offered can go up to several lakhs per annum, depending on the company and the role. The average package also tends to be competitive, providing students with good opportunities for starting their careers on a strong note. The percentage of students getting placed usually remains high, with a significant portion of the graduation batch securing job offers through campus placements. As for my plans after completing the degree, I aim to explore job opportunities in my field of study. I'm looking forward to applying the knowledge and skills I've gained during my time at the university in a practical work setting. It's exciting to think about starting a career and making a positive impact in the industry!
Infrastructure: At Chandigarh University, the facilities and infrastructure for various courses and departments are designed to provide students with a conducive learning environment. There's an overview of the facilities available: Wi-Fi: Chandigarh University offers campus-wide Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing students to access online resources and engage in virtual learning activities. Labs: The university has well-equipped laboratories tailored to different departments, enabling students to conduct experiments and practical sessions effectively. Classrooms: Modern classrooms equipped with audio-visual aids enhance the learning experience for students, making lectures more interactive and engaging. Library: The university library is stocked with a vast collection of books, journals, and research materials to support students in their academic pursuits. Regarding hostel facilities at Chandigarh University: Hostel Quality: The university provides comfortable hostel accommodation with amenities like beds, study areas, and common space for socializing, creating a conducive living environment for students. Food Quality: The mess and canteen at Chandigarh University offer a variety of nutritious meals to cater to students' dietary needs, ensuring they have access to quality food during their stay. Medical Facilities: The university typically offers medical facilities on campus or in proximity to address students' healthcare needs promptly. Sports and Games: Chandigarh University promotes sports and fitness by providing sports facilities such as grounds, gyms, and space for various indoor and outdoor games, encouraging students to engage in physical activities. The overall aim of Chandigarh University is to provide a holistic educational experience by offering a blend of academic, residential, and recreational facilities to support students' growth and development.
Faculty: At Chandigarh University, the teachers are pretty cool; they know their stuff and are helpful when you need them. The teaching is usually good; they mix it up to keep things interesting and make sure you get what they're teaching. The course curriculum is set up to be practical and relevant to the industry, so you're not just learning random stuff. It's meant to get you ready for the real world when you graduate. The exams can be a bit challenging, depending on what you're studying. They want to make sure you've learned the material. The pass percentage is usually based on how well everyone does in the exams, and they keep it fair and consistent.
Other: I chose this course because I've always been fascinated by aviation, and the thought of working in the skies excites me. The best thing about my course is the practical training we get, like flight simulations and hands-on experience. It really prepares us for the real deal. One thing that could be better about the course is maybe more industry exposure or internships to get a feel for the actual aviation environment before we graduate. As for campus life, Chandigarh University has a vibrant atmosphere with lots of events and fests happening throughout the year. The campus crowd is diverse and friendly, and there are plenty of extracurricular activities to get involved in. The campus surroundings are pretty nice too, offering a good mix of greenery and modern facilities. In terms of connectivity, the campus is well-connected, making it easy to travel to and from the university. There are also scholarship opportunities available for those who excel academically or participate in various activities. Overall, studying aviation here is a great experience, and I'm looking forward to what the future holds in the aviation industry!
