Special place and special moments.
Placements: Placements are very good compared to other campuses. Chandigarh University is one of the best colleges in India, even when compared to institutions worldwide. I also received a package of 7 LPA in an accounts role at the Mohali location, and many students got placed in top companies.
Infrastructure: The reason I rated the hostel 5 stars is that I enjoyed a lot at my hostel with my lovely friends. Although the fees were in lakhs, the enjoyment was infinite. The infrastructure at Chandigarh University is top-class, and everyone loves it.
Faculty: The curriculum is followed according to the norms set by the University Grants Commission (UGC), and this university provides top-quality education. Well-educated faculty are arranged for lectures, ensuring students can secure good packages and achieve higher goals.
Other: The value for money is evident in every aspect, such as infrastructure, scholarships, and connectivity, including outstation travel. People from foreign countries come to study at Chandigarh University.

Good Experience with My Own College.
Placements: Placements are good, and I have also been placed at IJRDO Private Limited. The package offered to me was 4 lacs, and the location was Chandigarh. There are many career opportunities in this college for students who need placements.
Infrastructure: It is one of the top colleges, known for its infrastructure. The campus is spread across more than 300 acres in Mohali, and the hostels are of top quality, making students feel at home. Students love to stay in the hostel most of the time.
Faculty: The faculty is very good at teaching practical knowledge, and various programs are conducted to enhance the knowledge of the students. The curriculum follows UGC norms, ensuring the best education is provided to students in their second home.
Other: This is the best place for parents to invest in their child's future.

My own college days in spend.
Placements: The placements here are much better than at other colleges. I was placed at Uolo Edtech Private Limited with an annual package of INR 3,70,000, which was higher than the average package of 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: I enjoyed my hostel days a lot. I made some really good friends, and we had a lot of fun together. The hostels are average, but they have all the basic amenities. The mess is moderate, and the food is of average quality. The library is a good place to study, and we used to spend a lot of time there.
Faculty: The faculty are young and motivated, which makes it easy to connect with them and discuss coursework. The curriculum is designed to meet UGC norms, and exams are held twice a year, which provides a good balance between academics and extracurricular activities.
Other: They provide scholarship opportunities to each and every segment of students who can come from India.

Best college for everything for Placement, Study, Festival & Event sports.
Placements: Around 70% of students enrolled in my B.Com. H course have secured jobs with salaries ranging from 2.5 lakhs to 9 lakhs. The average package offered in my course is quite impressive, with top companies such as Infosys recruiting students based on their academic performance.
Infrastructure: The A1 smart classroom is equipped with top-notch computers and every possible facility, including hot water. The canteen serves the best food, and the library department is extremely supportive and friendly. The hostel facilities are excellent, providing the best B.Ed accommodation and comfortable rooms.

Q:   What is the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.A. programs at Chandigarh University (CU)?

A:
{Source: B.A. students & alumni}

Here's the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.A. programs at Chandigarh University (CU):

Placement Cell Effectiveness

* According to students and alumni, only "a few" students from their course have been placed by the university's placement cell.
* However, many students from the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) department have been placed with good salary packages.
* While there isn't much information available about the placement cell's performance specifically for B.A. programs, it appears that the cell has had limited success in placing students from these courses.
* Overall, while CU's placement cell seems to have potential, it would benefit from improvement and increased efforts to place students from all disciplines.

Note: Since most of the information provided is anecdotal and doesn't represent a representative sample size, it's difficult to draw definitive conclusions about the effectiveness of the placement cell. Further research or data would be needed to gain a more complete understanding of the situation.
