Q:   Is 12000 a good rank in CUSAT for BTech?

A: 

Looking at the previous-year General All-India CUSAT CAT ranks for BTech, there is a less chance of getting into the programme with a rank of 12,000. Candidates can get a seat but not in top specialisations like Computer Science Engineering, Naval Architecture and Ship Building, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, etc. Students must secure a rank under 1,000 to get a seat in the preffered BTech specialisation at CUSAT.

A: 

CUSAT offers a four-year BTech CSE course spread across eight semesters. From the fifth semester, students get to choose a professional elective. Some of the subjects that are covered in CUSAT BTech CSE are:

Q:   What is the fee for BTech CSE at CUSAT?

A: 

The total tuition fee for BTech in CSE at CUSAT is INR 3.61 lakh. CUSAT CAT is used for BTech course admission. The primary requirements for admission to the BTech Computer Science programme are a Class 12 certificate and an overall percentage of 50% in PCM and 50% in Mathematics. While SEBC students from Kerala State (non-creamy layer category) are entitled toa 5% relaxation in qualifying exam scores, the Kerala Scheduled Caste (KSC) and Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) populations simply need pass marks.

Q:   How much rank is required to get into CUSAT BSc?

A: 

Candidates need to qualify CUSAT CAT to get admission to Integrated BSc-MSc programmes. The university releases course-wise cutoff rank list. As per the below 2023 closing rank for All India Category, the highest was 29 for Biological Science. The lowest rank was of 62 of Physical and Mathematics.     Good college with high placement and good campus
    Placements: About 75% were placed. Most students were recruited to L&T. There is high exposure to gain many different types of workshops available for students with unique skills. The highest package was 57 LPA, and the lowest was 5 LPA. The average package was 9 LPA. Programs to develop skills are available.
    Infrastructure: A good mess is run by students for a cheap price with good quality. Parking facilities are available for students’ vehicles and bicycles. 24/7 security ensures a safe and secure place for both boys and girls. The warden and staff are highly helpful, with extra care for first years to avoid ragging.
    Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. All the staff and teachers are highly qualified. Most of them are M.Tech graduates from high-level colleges like DTU, Delhi, etc. The semester exams are hard compared to other colleges, but if you study daily, they are easy to crack.
