DU CUET PG 2023 application window was reopened from May 9 to 11. Last date of receiving CUET PG application fee online was May 11. DU CUET PG application correction window was available from May 12 to 13. The application form for DU CUET PG was released on the official website of the exam by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on March 20. DU CUET PG 2023 admit card for Phase 1 is available for download at the official website of the exam. DU CUET PG 2023 exam dates are June 5 to 17. 

DU CUET UG 2023 application correction window was reopened by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from May 1 to May 2. Candidates were supposed to visit the official website of the exam to make changes in the application form if required. Earlier, application correction window was avialable from April 1 to April 3. Application process for DU CUET UG concluded on April 11. DU CUET UG 2023 exam date has been announced by the NTA. Initially, DU CUET UG Application process was held between February 10 to March 30 online by NTA on the official website of CUET UG.  

DUET 2023 exam schedule for PhD courses has not been announced. The application process for DUET 2023 will be released online. 

The application fee is INR 750 for UR/OBC candidates and for SC/ST/PwD/EWS it is INR 300. Candidates can check here the entire process of DUET 2023 application including registration, details to be filled in the application form, documents required for uploading as well as fee payment here.

DUET 2023 Registrations: How to fill DU application form for UG courses

Step 1: Create a Login ID

In order to fill Delhi University application form, first of all, aspirants have to create a login ID by providing their Email ID, mobile number and password. The password created by aspirants needs to be of at least 8 characters and the mobile number needs to be 10 digits and candidates should not add 0 or +91 before their mobile number.

Step 2: Fill personal details in DU CUET application form

After creating the login ID, aspirants need to fill details such as their name, date of birth, category, address, nationality, gender and guardian’s/parent’s name.

Aspirants are advised to thoroughly check all the information provided by them in DU’s online application form as these details cannot be changed later. The official website informs, "Please check the information for any spelling mistakes before clicking 'Register' Button. After successful submission of the Registration Form, a verification link will be sent to your email address. Please check your inbox including SPAM/BULK and follow the instructions therein to complete your registration. After successful verification, you can continue with your application for Under Graduate Admissions (Entrance Based)”.

Step 3: Upload documents

After filling all the details in DU CUET online application form, candidates need to upload the mentioned documents in their registration form for DU admissions based on the entrance exam. Make sure that to submit digital/scanned documents in DUET application form and all the documents are self-attested and in the dimensions and formats as specified in the table below:

Step 4: Fill Educational, Course & Test Centre details in DU CUET application form

In this section, all personal details section opens right at the top with pre-filled information (that candidate would have provided at the time of creating the login ID). Next, aspirants need to fill in their educational qualification details such as:

  • Board of Education
  • Class 12 Board Roll No.
  • Class 12 marks (Undergraduate courses)
  • Year of Passing
  • Hindi language studied up to which Class
  • Subject Name
  • Maximum Marks secured in a given subject (mostly it is 100)
  • Marks Obtained (mention marks secured in the above-mentioned subject)

Further, aspirants need to select the course of their choice as well as the examination centre where they would like to appear for DUET exam.

Step 5: Download DU CUET Application Form

Here, aspirants need to click on the 'Final Preview' button and check if all the details filled by them in DUET application form are correct. After this, aspirants need to download their application form for DU admissions. It is after this that aspirants are allotted their DU form number and QR Code. 

Step 5: Pay DU CUET application fee

Next, candidates need to pay the application fee by clicking on the 'Click to Make Payment' button. Aspirants can pay DU application fee for the entrance exam by means of Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking.

DUET 2023 Registrations: How to fill application form for PG courses

Step 1: Create DUET login ID for PG course admissions

In order to fill Delhi University application form, first of all, aspirants have to create a login ID by providing their Email ID, mobile number and password for Delhi University PG admission portal. The password created by aspirants needs to be of at least 8 characters and the mobile number needs to be 10 digits and candidates should not add 0 or +91 before their mobile number.

Next, candidates need to enter their details such as full name, date of birth, category, nationality, gender, the university last attended, age (as of May 1 of the year in which they are applying for admission) and Mother/Father/Guardian's name.

Step 2: Upload documents & enter the postal address for DU admissions

After filling in all the details while creating the login ID for the DU PG application form, candidates need to upload the below-mentioned documents in their registration form for DU admissions based on the entrance exam. Candidates need to ensure that they submit digital/scanned documents in the DUET application form and also make sure that all the documents are self-attested and in the dimensions and formats that are mentioned in the table below.

After uploading the required documents, aspirants need to enter their Identity Proof Number (of the document mentioned above) and thereafter mention their postal address and passport number.

Step 3: Fill details in the DU application form

After uploading the required documents in the DU application form, candidates need to mention their educational qualifications as well as the course in which they want to apply for admission.

Candidates who select 'Other' from the list must mention the name of their examination.

Enter the Stream/ Subject studied.

Board/University

Select the name of the Board/University. If the name is not mentioned in the drop-down then choose 'Other' and mention the name of the Board/University in the space provided.

Year of Passing

Mention the year of passing the examination you selected. The official website informs: "Applicants who are appearing/have appeared in the final year examination and are awaiting result should select the option 'Yes' from the Result Awaited drop-down list”.

Max. Marks/Grade Points

Mention the maximum marks/grade points (10) of the above-mentioned examination. In case the result is awaited then this field will not be operational.

Marks Obt./CGPA

Enter marks/CGPA you obtained in the above mentioned exam. In case the result is awaited then this field will not be operational.

Percentage/CGPA

Enter marks obtained in the given exam. It gets converted to a percentage automatically. In case the result is awaited then this field will not be operational.

Result Awaited

This field will be operational only for those candidates who are appearing/have appeared in the final year exam of the given year. The official website informs: “Applicants who are appearing/have appeared in the final year examination and are awaiting result should select the option 'Yes' from the Result Awaited drop-down list”

Last College Attended

Enter the name of the last attended College. 

Examination Roll Number (Only for Delhi University Students)

DU students should enter their roll number of the examination in the given space. Candidates from any other university need to enter 'NA' in the given space.

Enrollment No. (Only for Delhi University Students)

DU students should enter their University Enrollment number in the space provided. Candidates from any other university need to enter 'NA' in the given space.

Select Course

Choose the Course from the drop-down list.

Choose Admission Criteria

Select admission criteria to see the eligibility criteria required against that course.

a) Category Code: It's mandatory for each candidate to choose their Category code. 
b) Some courses have extra options such as SOL, NCWEB etc. which can be selected by the candidate if found relevant or required.

Examination Centre

Select the entrance exam centre.

Sports

Select 'Yes' if applying under sports quota. The official website informs: “Candidates applying under sports category must submit a hard copy of this application form to the respective department. Only last three years participation in sports will be considered. This will be applicable as per university rules”.

Declaration

The candidate declares that all the statements made and documents uploaded are true from belief. If any information is found to be incorrect, his candidature is liable to be cancelled and he may be subject to legal/disciplinary proceedings.

College Preference

Candidates need to select their college/department preference.

Once, an aspirant fills in all the above-mentioned details then they should preview the DU application form and make any changes, if necessary. If all the details filled in are correct then the aspirant should click the 'Pay Fee' button.

Step 4: Pay DUET application fee

Next, candidates need to pay the application fee by clicking on the 'Click to Make Payment' button. Aspirants can pay the DU application fee for the entrance exam by means of credit card, debit card or net banking.

Step 5: Download DU PG application form

Once the DU application fee has been paid successfully then the aspirant needs to click on the 'Print Form' button and take a hard copy of the duly filled DUET application form. Once candidates print their DU application form then they can see the DU form number and QR Code on the printed form.

Editing of DUET Application Form 2023

After entering all the required details, applicants can proceed with any of the three options - Edit the application, Pay Fee and My Home. Applicants are advised to fill their forms carefully as the application fee once deposited will not be refunded. Candidates will have to pay the required amount for making changes in the application form after submission.

  • Editing of details will be allowed within the prescribed dates of application

  • All fields marked in ‘Red’ need to be filled by candidates
  • Application without fee payment is considered incomplete
  • Applicants should pay the requisite examination fees and take a printout of the receipt for further reference

Q:   What is the last date to fill the DU CUET UG application form?

A:

DU CUET UG application process started on Febraury 27, 2024. However, application submission deadline has been extended from March 26, 2024 to March 31, 2024. Application process is done in online mode. Ahead of the application process, candidates are required to check the eligibility criteria for the exam. The eligibility criteria of the exam is mentioned on Shiksha's page and official website of the exam.

Q:   What will be the medium of DU CUET UG exam?

A:
DU UG 2023 exam is being held through CUET. The exam is being conducted in the following languages Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. However, the selection of medium will be restricted to particular States/UTs. Q:   Can I submit DUET application form offline?

DU CUET UG application window closed on April 11. The National testing Agency NTA reopened the application process on April 9. The last date to pay application fee was April 11. DU CUET UG application forms can not be filled offline. DUET 2023 application forms for Ph.D. courses are yet to be released. Yes, candidates are allowed to make changes in the application form of DU CUET UG. Application correction window dates are announced. Candidates will be required to visit the official website of the exam to make changes in the application form. Candidates are allowed to make only specific correction in the application form of DU CUET UG such as name, father's name, photograph and other related document submitted for the exam.

Q:   I want to change my DUET exam centre after completing online registration. Is it possible?

A:

Candidates are required to choose any one city from the list of test cities for appearing in DUET exam. After completion of online registration, candidates will not be able to change the selected city. Meanwhile, candidates appearing for the DU CUET UG or PG exam will be able to check the name of the test centres by visiting the official website of the CUET UG and CUET-PG. For this academic session, CUET UG exam dates are announced.

Q:   Can I submit DUET fee through any other mode like demand draft?

DUET or DU CUET UG or DU CUET-PG application forms are filled in online mode. Candidates are also supposed to pay the application fee in online mode. Application forms are released. The last date to fill the DU CUET-UG application form has been extended. Candidates need to visit the official website of CUET or refer Shiksha's page to know all about the exam. The registration fee is not accepted through any other mode like demand draft.

Q:   What is the full form of NTA?

A:
The full form of NTA is National Testing Agency (NTA). NTA is established by Ministry of Education, MoE (Earlier known as Ministry of Human Resource Development-MHRD) as an independent/ autonomous, self-reliant and self-sustained premier testing organisation. NTA conducts the undergraduate and postgraduate courses through CUET. It also conducts PhD courses of Delhi University, which is held through DUET. NTA introduced CUET exam for UG courses of Delhi University from the last academic session while admission to PG courses of Delhi University through CUET from this academic session.

Q:   Is the DUET form available offline?

A:

No, the DUET/DU CUET UG and PG application form are released in online mode only. Candidates can visit the official website of NTA or Delhi University in order to apply for DUET. Meanwhile, candidates are required to visit the official website of CUET UG to fill the application form of DU CUET UG and CUET-PG to fill the application form of CUET-PG courses.

Q:   How many question are asked from each section in DU CUET UG exam?

A:
Candidates can check here the number of questions asked from each sections. Section IA & IB - 40 out of 50 questions are to be attempted Section II - 40 out of 50 questions are to be attempted Section. Section III - 50 out of 60 questions are to be attempted. In subjects I. e. Accountancy, Economics, Physics Computer Science / Informatics Practices, Chemistry and Mathematics / Applied Mathematics and General Test, duration of the test will be 60 minutes. For all other subjects, duration of the test will be of 45 minutes duration.

Q:   How many subjects can a candidate choose in CUET UG while filling the application form?

A:
Candidates appearing for the CUET UG need to first apply for the exam by filling the application form. While filling the application form, candidates are required to choose any 10 subjects from all three sections: Section IA - 13 Languages Section IB - 20 Languages Section II - 27 Domain specific subjects Section III - General Test.

Q:   If I miss the DUET application process deadline, will I be eligible to apply afterwards?

A:

No. Once the application process ends, candidates will not be able to register or apply. However, candidates get the opportunity to fill the application form only if the exam conducting body extends the application submission deadline further. DUET application form for PhD courses have not started yet at the official website of the exam. Once released, eligible candidates will be required to fill the application form to appear for the PhD entrance exam through DUET. DUET 2023 registration form are expected to be released anytime soon at the official website of Delhi University or National Testing Agency (NTA).

Q:   When will DU CUET UG application correction window open?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the CUET UG application correction window on March 28, 2024 to March 29. However, this date can be extended. CUET Application Form Correction is the facility to edit registration entries. The candidates were able to access the login window and make corrections in the student particulars of the CUET application form window at the official website of the exam.

Unfortunately no. DUET is Delhi University Entrance Test and DU has discontinued the PG Diploma in Bioinformatics programme in 2023. Therefore, preparing for DUET to get admission to the PG Diploma in Bioinformatics programme will not be helpful.
