Placements: The Biotechnology programme placements are generally high as per previous year data, but it may vary year to year. The highest package offered in this branch was 31 LPA as per my knowledge and the lowest packages range around 6-8 LPA. Most of the time, the pharmaceuticals companies, research organizations, and healthcare systems comes to DTU for recruitment, for example, Cipla, Biocon, Nestle, Unilever, etc. The roles offered to the students are research scientist, biotechnologist, quality contr...
Placements: Opportunities are good. Various companies, such as Asian Paints, Nerolac, Techdata, Collegiate, ITC, and Aditya Birla, visit the campus. Profiles offered are in sales, customer acquisition, marketing, finance, business analytics, and HR. Approximately 70-80% of the batch was placed last year.
Placements: DTU is famous for engineering, but commerce preference is low. So, the placement cell works differently for commerce courses, resulting in a low percentage of students getting placements last year in BBA. The highest package goes up to 15 LPA, with an average of 5-6 LPA. 2nd or 3rd-year students can do internships in their free time.
Placements: Honestly, DTU is excellent in placement and has the best placement cell among other colleges. At DTU, the highest package goes up to 60 LPA in my course from last year, with an average of 7 LPA. Big companies like Hydra, Flipkart, Tata, Jio, etc., recruit from here. Students can also do internships by applying for them.
Placements: Dtu is known for their ranking and placements. They have one of the best placement cells for B.Tech students. Last year, 70 percent of students secured placements, with the highest package being 30 lakhs, an average package of 7 lakhs, and the lowest package ranging from 3-4 lakhs. Companies like Facebook, Jio, Microsoft, and TCS recruit from here.
Placements: The reason I chose DTU is placements. About 89% of students were placed last year. The highest package in 2023 offered to B.Tech students was 82 Lacs, with an average package of 25 Lacs. The top recruiters included Google, Microsoft, Myntra, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, and Deloitte.
Placements: The placement opportunities are above average. The highest package goes up to 4-5 LPA, and the lowest is 1 LPA. Additional skills like data science, coding, stock market knowledge, languages, etc., increase the chances of getting a job significantly. Both software and hardware skills play a very important role. Roles like business analyst, marketing head, HR, and TR are among the top roles offered.
Placements: For companies like Microsoft, Amul, Jio, Oyo, Barclays and many more, there are three rounds that are performed every time companies visit a university: the first writing test, the second GD and the third personal interview. The university gave us a subject called colloquium, in which they train us for interviews and also organise workshops from time to time.
Placements: The placements at DTU are pretty good; around 79% of students from my course are placed every year. The highest package offered for the mechanical branch was 109 LPA, and the average package is around 11-12 LPA. The internships are also good; recruiters like Facebook and Amazon have given stipends of up to 60k as well.
Placements: These days, due to the recession in Tamil Nadu, placements are not top-notch but are still decent. (For 2024 and 2025 batches) There are off-campus opportunities available. Students must have strong communication skills and the necessary skillset for their desired job roles. Without these, colleges can't guarantee a job. Students need to work hard. Overall, 70-80% of students at DTU get placed, but it's not 100% in core branches. In environmental engineering, companies like Maruti Suzuki, TERI, ...
Placements: Approximately 40-50% of the total students from my course got placements. Main companies that conducted recruitments were companies like Google, Wipro, etc. The average package last year was around 5 LPA. Approximately 35% of students got internships from my course.
Placements: The placement opportunities are above average. The highest package goes up to 4-5 LPA, and the lowest is 1 LPA. With additional skills like data science, coding, stock market knowledge, languages, etc., the chances of getting a job increase significantly. Both soft skills and hard skills play a very important role. Roles like Business Analyst, Marketing Head, HR, and TR are among the most popular.
Placements: Students were placed into well-known and renowned companies such as Wipro, Google, etc., with the latest average of packages up to 8-9 LPA. The placement fair at DTU is good enough to place you into a decent company if you have enough on your resume! Good, well-known companies are brought in by the placement committee during the placement period.
Placements: In my batch, there are 75 students. I don't know much about packages as I haven't been informed about placements this year. I will be seeking placement, so I don't have accurate answers at the moment. Currently, no one knows if the internship opportunities are good. The cutoff is requested to be above 9, which may cause many students to continue without an internship.
Placements: Our college has great placement records. Almost 78% of students were placed at our institution. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Microsoft, and Wipro. The top roles are Project Manager and Software Developer. Around 70% of students got internships.
Placements: 60% of students are placed in our college; 12 LPA was the highest package, 4 LPA was the lowest and the average is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, PwC and EY. About 70% of students got internships at different private and government companies. Financial analysts and project managers were the top roles offered.
Placements: From our senior batch, about 75 to 80 % of the students were placed. Taking into consideration the recession that happened this year, there were opportunities provided for internships through an internship fair. Also, the average package in DTU was between 8 and 12 LPA; the highest went up to 35 LPA, and the lowest was between 5 and 6 LPA. Roles in different sectors, like finance, business management, and data analysis, were common.
Placements: Students become eligible for placements starting from the 5th semester. This year, the campus saw visits from numerous prestigious companies including Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Deloitte, Samsung, JP Morgan, and many others. The university, average package is 16.71 LPA, with a placement rate of 95% in the software enginee...
Placements: I am in first year of Engineering. There was fall in placement percentage in 2024 compared to 2023. In 2024, only 49 percent of the whole batch will have mechanical depth, with 31 LPA being the highest in mechanical and 80 LPA overall. In 2023, 85 percent were placed with 1.83 crores. The highest package. The top roles offered are those of consultant, manager, and SDE (yes, mechanical students prepare to work for tech companies). The highest package was 31 LPA in 2024 and 80 LPA in 2024 in mecha...
Placements: Over 82% of students were placed last year. The software branch is very much an application-based branch, ranging from basic learning to learning industrial-level things. It's syllabus is very modern, including all the latest and most important parts of one's job that they may require in their companies.
