Yes, Harcourt Butler Technical University offer BTech (lateral) programmes. These are three-year courses, wherein students get admission directly in the second-year of the course. To be eligible for BTech (Lateral) course admission, aspirant must fulfil the eligibility requirements.  For BTech Lateral Entry, aspirants need to pass CUET exam and should have a three-year Engineering Diploma with a minimum of 60% aggregate.

Admission to HBTU Kanpur BTech programmes is based on merit in JEE Main. Shortlisted candidates are further called for a counselling round, during which seat allotment is carried out. Candidates who have passed Class 12 with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for reserved category) in PCM are eligible to apply. Step 2: Under the 'Candidate Activity Board', click on application.

Step 3: On the next page, Loging using JEE (Main) Application No and password.

Step 4: Also enter the security pin and submit.

Step 5: Follow the instructions and register for the HBTU BTech Counselling.

The application process is accepted in online mode by the university. Candidates must submit the admission within the prescribed due date. The steps to apply for HBTU BTech course are as follows:

Step 3: Click on the available online registration link.

Step 4: Select ‘New Application’.
