Harcourt Butler Technical University JEE Main cutoff was concluded after Round 6. As per the last round cutoff 2023, the minimum cutoff for HBTU BTech in CSE was 22059. It is necessary that each aspirant fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. Moreover, for BTech Lateral Entry, aspirants need to pass CUET exam and should have completed a three-year Engineering Diploma with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST).

Admission to HBTU Kanpur BTech programmes is based on merit in JEE Main. Shortlisted candidates are further called for a counselling round, during which seat allotment is carried out. Candidates who have passed Class 12 with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for reserved category) in PCM are eligible to apply. The eligible students can further visit the HBTU official website to register and fill out the admission form.

Yes, Harcourt Butler Technical University offer BTech (lateral) programmes. These are three-year courses, wherein students get admission directly in the second-year of the course. To be eligible for BTech (Lateral) course admission, aspirant must fulfil the eligibility requirements.  For BTech Lateral Entry, aspirants need to pass CUET exam and should have a three-year Engineering Diploma with a minimum of 60% aggregate.
