Admission to HBTU Kanpur BTech programmes is based on merit in JEE Main. Shortlisted candidates are further called for a counselling round, during which seat allotment is carried out. Candidates who have passed Class 12 with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for reserved category) in PCM are eligible to apply. Moreover, for BTech Lateral Entry, aspirants need to pass CUET exam and should have completed a three-year Engineering Diploma with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST).

The application process is accepted in online mode by the university. Candidates must submit the admission within the prescribed due date. The steps to apply for HBTU BTech course are as follows:

Step 3: Click on the available online registration link.

Step 4: Select ‘New Application’.

Step 5: Select the preferred course.

To be eligible for BTech (Lateral) course admission, aspirant must fulfil the eligibility requirements.  For BTech Lateral Entry, aspirants need to pass CUET exam and should have a three-year Engineering Diploma with a minimum of 60% aggregate.
