Yes, GATE score is required to get admission to IIT Bombay course. However, aspirants who have not qualified GATE can also get admission based on written test conducted by the institute. The shortlisted candidates are further called for a personal interview round. Similarly, for MTech in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, the GATE score closed off on 650. 

The total tuition fee for the MTech course ranges between INR 1.2 lakh - INR 10 lakh. Additionally, the registration fee to submit the GATE application form for boys is INR 1,700, INR 850 for girls, and INR 850 for SC/ST/PwD category students. IIT Bombay accepts GATE scores for admisison to the MTech programmes. Only these students get a chance to sit for JEE Advanced and become eligible for admission to IITs.
