Honest review of IIT Bombay.
Placements: I completed my graduation in 2023, but this year, the highest package that IIT Bombay offers is about 3.47 crore in international placements and 1.54 crore in domestic placements. Around 89% of students are placed this year, with about 324 companies offering placements. The average package this year is 21.82 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: As we all know, IIT Bombay has the best facilities, so definitely its infrastructure is the best. You get Wi-Fi in your labs and classrooms and LAN in hostels. There are about 3 libraries present here, all types of labs are available, and a sports complex is also there. The mess food quality is the best, and you also get all types of necessary medical facilities that we generally need.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best; they help you at every moment whenever you need them. Without any doubt, they are highly qualified and knowledgeable, and their teaching methods are also good. They prepare you for the industry and life too. Here you find semester exams difficult, but if you study, then it is not a problem.
Other: Here many societies and clubs are present, and by this, you can also upskill yourself and be able to know how to make connections with different types of people.

Like-minded people, good placements, cut-throat competition.
Placements: Placements: 99%+ students usually get placed within the first 2-3 days of the placement period. Companies: Intel, Qualcomm, Texas Instrument, Samsung, Nvidia, etc. Roles: Hardware designer, Testing and verification, Layout engineer Internship: No internships provided.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are amazing. There are plenty of different categories of classrooms, each category classroom is different from the other in various terms like size, ambience, but common on some grounds: Wi-Fi connectivity, AC, projectors, CCTVs, etc.
Faculty: We have the privilege of being taught by world-class faculty who are known for their research work in their respective fields. We have an amazing course curriculum, with the choice to take up courses from different departments, which I wish I had in my Bachelor's too.
Other: My course aims at producing hardware experts in the field of VLSI ( microelectronics ). There is 90-100% flexibility in taking up various courses, projects, RnD projects (interdisciplinary). No need to give emphasis on MoodIndigo here, you probably would be knowing it.
