Indian Institute of Technology Delhi for Ph.D. Scholars Admission in 2025: Best or Not?

Placements: This college has the best placement facilities and the best package salary. There are companies like Bridgenext and Globant that are associated with the college. The salary range provided is from 4 Lacs to 10 Lacs per annum. In this course, admission is very difficult because it requires clearing the NIMCET exam.

Society’s Respect, Great Placement, Qualified and Helpful Faculty Members, a Huge Campus.

Placements: In my course of Industrial and Production Engineering, we have a very high placement ratio compared to any other branch at IIT Delhi. Last year, 61 students stood for placements, and 59 got placed. This ratio is even higher than that of Computer Science students. Our average package varies every year, but currently, as of now, I am writing this on December 3, 2024. A total of 3 placement days have passed, and as per my knowledge from my seniors and colleges, the average package of my branch this...

Really good college and nice crowd. Only the top students of the country get admission here.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students were placed. The highest package was above 1 crore, and the lowest was around 10 lacs. Companies that came for placements were Google, Microsoft, Nvidia, and many more core and non-core companies. The percentage of students getting internships was also high, about 80%. The roles offered were in tech, the core chemical field, consulting, analyst positions, etc.

If we talk about the placement, infrastructure, campus life, and exposure, everything is top-notch.

Placements: Almost 100% of students get placed if they sit in placement, but sometimes most of the students go for higher studies and some of them for government services. Many students get high placement, but as of now, 3-4 students from my batch got more than 30 LPA, and the lowest is 8 LPA. All recruiting companies are not from the core; some were in a tech background, some were in consulting, and some in core like BPCL. About 20-30% of the total strength got an internship in various companies, as the pl...

Really good infrastructure and crowd.

Placements: Energy engineering is a new branch in IIT Delhi. It started in 2020. It is the first batch to get placed. This year the first batch of B.Tech in energy science and engineering will be placed. We can get an idea of the placement scenario only after placements of 2024 are over.

I loved doing my M.Tech at IIT Delhi.

Placements: IIT Delhi is one of the top IITs so it has a very good placement percentage and good salary packages offered. The percentage of students got placed is around 96%. The highest salary package offered is around 45 LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 20 LPA in our course. Usually, students who do M.Tech don't need any internships but we have a complete chance to do internships. Students who are pursuing engineering get 100% internships. Many recruiting companies visit campus for pl...

IITD is one of the great experiences for my educational journey.

Placements: In our last batch, around 14 students were placed. The highest salary package was 14 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 6 LPA. EdTech company was highly interested in our batch. Internships offered were in research field. Course will prepare students more for tech side as compared to teaching side.

Placements: The percentage of students who get placed is very high; it’s around 98 percent, and the highest package offered is around 58 Lacs. The lowest package offered is around 8 Lacs, and the median is around 14 Lacs for my course. The percentage of students who get internships or study projects under professors is 100 percent; that is, all of them will get any of them for sure. Placements: In the engineering physics batch of 63 students, about 25-30 secured on-campus placements, around 20 pursued higher studies in physics abroad, and the rest likely found off-campus opportunities. The average package was around 20 LPA, mostly for those entering the tech field.

A college with good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements are good. Both core and non-core options are open for all branches. The most preferred non-core options are in consultancy, finance, and software development. In the PI branch, most people opt for non-core. Most companies don't differentiate on the basis of branch. They just want people with the required skills.

This college can be a bit stressfull sometimes, but overall a dream college for all.

Placements: 80 to 90% of students got placed last year. The placement ratio is pretty good. No data on the highest and the lowest package is known as of right now. For my course, in the core, the top recruiters are OIL, pharmaceutical companies, and Indian Oil. Non-core recruiters are all that recruit in all branches. No data for internship percentage. No idea about the roles offered in our course.

Placements: Big companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Big4, Apple, Flipkart, Deloitte, EY, Reliance, Lloyd, Tata, LG come here for placements in big companies, and the placement season is starting soon. Packages are also quite better than other colleges, so you can also enjoy a nice financial life.

Dissatisfied with the Hostel Rooms.

Placements: There are not many placement offers for core branches like mechanical, civil, or textile. You need to do extra things than your course to get a nice placement offer. But there are many opportunities to learn these things as there are many side courses that you can do other than your own course, which can make your CV look good.
