IIT Delhi Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Hauz khas

Placements: Placements are offered at Bharat Petroleum, Deloitte India, Sterling Power, and others, as discussed during our orientation. Roles offered are research projects on sustainable energy.

Placements: I got an internship in a big company. There is a training and placement cell in the college which gives about 80% placement. Maximum salary is 35 LPA, the minimum is 7LPA and the average is 10 LPA. Schlumberger, L&T, ONGC, ISRO are the main recruiters for Financial, field engineers, business analyst core civil engineer, consultant, risk analysts posts. Atkins, L&T, DMRC Ab in Bev, Citi bank, PNG, AWS are giving very good internship with a good money.

Placements: About 100% of students got placed in this college. Placement opportunities were good. Top recruiting MNCs were Google, Microsoft, etc. Good salary packages and facilities were offered based on the skills and knowledge of students. Some students rejected placements for pursuing their dreams and some for startups. A high number of students who cleared UPSC were successful civil servants.

Placements: Almost 91% of students are placed. The salary package offered is 8 LPA - 12 LPA. Internships from over 200 companies give us paid Internships of more than Rs.100000 per month in all kinds of fields. They are not about our prior experience but also teach us from the scratch and pay for our expenditures.

Placements: The average salary package offered ranges from 18 LPA to 19 LPA. There are many top roles in our course like AI, machine learning, and many more. The point is that students should push themselves to learn.

Placements: This college provides high packages and internships. The students have to maintain 9 CGPA, and they can easily get jobs into HFT companies like Graviton. The average salary package offered is 1 crore within India, and the stipend is 9 LPA.

Placements: Around 80-90% of students were placed, if they sit for the process. Around 55% of students sit for placements, and most of them getting the jobs. The rest either pursue for higher education or civil services. The highest salary package offered was 1 crore. Around 95% of students get placed in non-core.

Placements: Good placements are offered at indian institute of technology, Delhi ( IITD ) chemical engineering branch, either 4 years or 5 years if you know your subject. The professors are very knowledgeable so if they think you are worthy then you can also do a project with them to aid in your CV.

Placements: The placement in biotech field is not restricted to pharma industry only students also go into it sector to pursue their career. But also many students opt for research so the avg. Salary might be less as comp to other branches but the faculty and the experimentation equipment's are very nice.

Placements: In M.Sc physics, 4 students get placed this year. All of them are placed in the IT sector. They get software jobs and nothing related to physics. There is no connection with M.Sc education at IIT. They knew very basic to moderate knowledge of python and coding. The average salary package offered ranges from 10 LPA - 12 LPA.

Placements: Anyone who wants to get placed, gets placed. The highest package in our department, I am quite sure it is more than 1Cr. About companies, from my personal experience, my mentor got placed in Grofers pvt Ltd in Gurgaon for 50LPA CTC. This course is very similar to Electrical core EE1. And also you can opt for GATE or UPSC with this course.

Placements: The B.Tech course in energy engineering was introduced in the year 2021. So, there is no data available for placements as we will be the first batch of energy engineering to sit for placements in 2025. Placement opportunities for energy engineering seem high as the whole world is concerned about energy and power.

Placements: Our mathematics and computing departments are also known to have a large number of placements. The placement percentage is also good in IIT Delhi, and I would like it.

Placements: Students in our course are mostly research-based, but you can practice computer programming to get jobs in the IT sector. You can become a professor by doing higher studies in physics. Overall, opportunities for everyone to get placed are decent.

Placements: 4 - year B.Tech in energy engineering is introduced in IIT Delhi in 2022, so we are the 1st batch of energy engineering. I think there would be many companies like Adani Group of Companies to offer jobs for energy engineering students. We are in the 1st year, so I can't say about internships.

Placements: This year about 60 students have received 1 crore packages and that too on the very first day of placements. Although, all placements were from CS department, however, many of the students amongst these were from other branches such as chemical, civil, etc. In short, you will find jobs from average to excellent level here.

Placements: Our course was introduced about a year ago, so there are no placements yet. Our course offers a huge variety of scopes in research, ceramic industry, paint and petroleum industry, textile and many more.

Placements: The branch is top third, so the placements are good enough, the highest package usually goes from the electrical department. Many students do internship, even from their first year. The highest is nearly 2.5 crores for the session 2020-21, and over 60 students grabbed 1 crore package.

Placements: Most students from our college were placed. Some took research jobs. The highest salary package offered was 30 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The average salary package offered wa13 LPA. Software companies, investment banks, and consultancy companies like Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, etc. Almost 50% of the students got internships in banks, startups in software and data analysts, machine learning engineer, etc. Top roles offered are as a software engineer, data analyst, consultanc...

Placements: With 20-30 companies coming for our branch, about 40-60% of students got placed. Our placement record has been good. The average package offered is around 6-7 LPA. Nokia, Samsung, and several other companies are among the top firms. However, there was a slight decrease in placements this year.
