IIT Delhi review as a 1st year student.

Placements: Placements are really good even during period of recession. Many companies come here to recruit some of which are the companies who take only 4-5 students from all over India. So placement is really good. Some of the high paying companies for consulting and tech also recruit from here.

Absolutely satisfied with my college.

Placements: As of April 2024, 1,050 job offers were made to students in 2024 batch, including more than 50 international offers. The top recruiters included Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Texas Instruments, Bajaj Auto, Ola Electric, and Air India. The core (technical) sector was the top recruiting sector, with 42% of students got placed with average and the highest packages. The average package was Rs. 36.9 Lacs per annum, and the highest package was Rs. 1 crore per annum. Students received 100% internships fro...

Good college having excellent faculty and good placements.

Placements: Placement has declined significantly in the recent years in terms of packages offered. The companies take only the top students. In my branch, the opportunities are decent with a large number of students moving towards teaching or consulting.

Up to my expectations. Picture Perfect College.

Placements: About one-third go for teaching jobs, i.e., IT sector, one-third go for core jobs, and the remaining usually go for consulting and other fields as per their freelance. Many companies like Jaguar came for the core-related job opportunities. Hindware companies also came providing opportunities to mechanical students. As far as Mechanical, the highest package is usually 60-70 LPA and the minimum goes to a basic pay of 12 LPA with about 90% placement.

Absolutely great college. India’s best in Engineering. Academics are pretty hard.

Placements: Placements are great. Different for different branches, but overall placements are good. If a student has the skillset with CGPA, then he can grab a better placement. In my course, 80% were placed. Many companies came. Consulting companies demand more CG.

Energy engineering in IIT DELHI.

Placements: My batch is the fourth batch in my branch as the branch was introduced in IIT Delhi in 2021 only, and next year the placements will start for the first passing batch from IIT Delhi. Although the average package in the college is nearly 25 Lacs per annum.

Great college overall. Nice academics but bad hostel living conditions.

Placements: 90% placement rate. Core companies: Indian Unilever Company. Roles offered: Scientist. Majorly, students go into non-core areas including teaching, IT, and consulting. Some students go into research and academia too. CG matters while sitting for placement, as only students above a 7 CGPA are allowed to appear.

Really good infrastructure, excellent place to explore in any field.

Placements: First of all, this is one of the most underrated branches of IIT Delhi. Students eagerly work under professors on projects like SURA projects and research and end up getting internships in the Khorana Scholars programme, at Monash University, Surat. Last-year batch students got foreign internships at Imperial College London, Kyoto University and more. There are some students who go abroad for M.Tech and Ph.D., rest are placed at the end of the final semester.

A value-for-money course.

Placements: Year 2023 was the first placement year as this course was started in 2019. This batch has 40 students. Having a small batch size ensures an interactive environment with friends and professors, unlike CSE or the electrical department. Last year, the highest package was about 40 Lacs per annum, and I have no idea about the lowest package. But personally, I had confirmed with my professor that almost every student got more than 1 Lacs per month as their in-hand salary. 38 students were placed out o...

The college's teaching faculty is good.

Placements: Nearly 70 to 75% got placed every year in my college. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, DRDO Labs, and General Motors. Around 65% percent of students got internships at top companies. The top roles are system engineer and data analyst.

Comprehensive learning and vibrant campus life at IIT Delhi.

Placements: This number could be 100%, but it’s not actually. However, there is really a good percentage of students who got placement. The highest placement goes up to 4 crores, and the lowest is 8 lakhs. Below this, our college does not allow companies to come. I actually don’t know any good company for my course, but almost every student can get an internship.

Environment beauty. The company of students that we get is out of the world.

Placements: At IIT Delhi, top companies from core, consulting, tech, and finance backgrounds recruit students. Placements begin in the 7th semester. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, and Flipkart come for recruitment. The average package is around 12-14 lakhs, with the highest reaching even 1-2 crores INR.

Our college provides great placements, infrastructure, and college life.

Placements: Tech branch students got 100% placements because the IITD placement cell is very nice. All great companies visit our college with very good packages. The highest salary package offered in the CSE branch is around 40 LPA - 50 LPA. The average package offered at IIT is 15 LPA.

Placements: 70-80 percent of the students were placed in my course, and most of them got a package above 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies were from all domains like tech, consultancy, non-tech core, and most of the companies had a decent package to offer.

Good placements, extremely good infrastructure, but dissatisfied because of accommodation.

Placements: Mostly everyone gets placed; the highest packages are around 3.4 crore CTC, and the lowest can be 10 LPA CTC. Top recruiters include Amazon, Google, and Jane Street. Nearly 60 percent of students from my course get internships from various non-core tech companies and core companies like L&T, Godrej, and Amazon.

Review with experience. It is the best place for learning.

Placements: As we know, placements of IITs are so good that we can't express it in our words. There are core as well as non-core companies coming for hiring students in the 2nd year. They offer decent packages and various facilities to the students. The majority of the students of IIT Delhi are placed.

I strongly disagree with the hectic schedule of IIT Delhi.

Placements: The percentage of students who are placed in chemical engineering is around 81% as of last year. The highest package is around 50 LPA, and the average package is around 50 LPA. Top companies are like Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Facebook and many more. The percentage of students who got internship from my course is around 70% to 80%. Roles are assigned according to students knowledge. Some got manager posts, some in the IT department.

Review of IIT Delhi - Indian Institute of Technology.

Placements: Almost all the students here get placed or opt for higher studies. Up to my knowledge, the highest package is about 3 Cr, the average package is 25 lpa, and the lowest package is 9 lpa. All of the companies that received placements in India came to IIT Delhi. Almost all the students get either research or work internship in various companies.
