Need improvement in every aspect.
Placements: The placements for the electronic cores are very few so you have to consider yourself to tighten the software to get placed in this college. Most of the companies that came for the placement are related to software. They offer a package of 15 LPA, even more for the FAANG companies.
Infrastructure: They just have decent infrastructure for the courses. They are building continuously to accommodate more students, which reduces the quality of the students. Hostels are below average; we can't go outside and there are very few restrictions on any activity in the college.
Faculty: Most of the subjects in the curriculum are outdated; you are getting nothing out of it so you have to decide if you want to go for placement or study curriculum for higher education. Faculty for the core have knowledge but are not that good (you can learn easily from a YouTube channel).

Review of J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA
Placements: They have placement all year. Most companies came for the core branch but the non-core branch has the highest placement in all branches. About 20% of students get internships on or outside the campus. Getting an internship is hard but if you have a good CGPA, you can get placed.
Infrastructure: All the buildings are very old; only the Bachelor of Science building is newly built. They have a decent canteen but only a few items are available. Most of them have a reasonable price. But the hostel mess is very bad so most of the students eat from the outside.
Faculty: For some courses, the curriculum is very old but the newly introduced branches have well-updated courses. Course-related subjects are taught less in the semester. Most of them are irrelevant; we have to study on our own for a good placement. You might get a sense of why I am studying this.

Ymca college - an insight.
Placements: 70-85% of students get placed. The highest package last year was around 54 lakhs per annum, while the lowest was 3.5 lakhs per annum, and the average was 5.5 lakhs per annum. The main recruiters were TCS, Samsung, Adobe, Amazon, and Tata Ion. Around 50-70% of students get internships on the basis of their academic performance. The top roles offered were Verilog manager and VLSI engineering software developer.
Infrastructure: There are classrooms for each course that are assigned and mostly have air conditioning. We also have an extensive air-cooled library, college wifi, and proper separation of each department. However, the hostels are not yet open for male students as they are undergoing renovation.
Faculty: The teachers here are well qualified, and most have PhDs or are working on their PhDs. The curriculum is relevant and helpful, and the difficulty level of the exams is from low to mid. The passing percentage is 30 out of 75 in the main exams and 10 out of 25 in the internal exams.
Other: The affordability and proximity of this college from my hometown and brand value of college made me choose this. Infrastructure and area, along with instruments, are part of improvisation and college culture too.

My experience of 1st year.
Placements: Placements are quite decent for this college. The year I got admission, they were having a placement drive with a large number of recruiters. The mechanical branch has many recruiters, and they got the highest placement of 40 Lacs per year. Computer branch also have many placement opputunity.
Infrastructure: They have the whole campus covered with college Wi-Fi and with registration, you can use the Wi-Fi. They have only a girls hostel and it is inside the college with very decent facilities. A night kitchen is not available in the girls hostel. The boys hostel is under construction as a new building is being built.
Faculty: The computer department has very friendly faculty and they are eager to help you with your problem. Most of the teachers are 50+ and have a lot of teaching experience. The electronic department is very good. The labs have the latest equipment and the lab teachers are also good.

It is a very good college.
Placements: Our college provides good placements for CSE students. The training and placement cell helps students to get placements. Students should pass exams to get placed in companies.
Infrastructure: We have a very small campus. It is not very good. Our college has a ground. It is sufficient for extracurricular activities.
Faculty: The course is old. It is not updated. It is not relevant to the latest generation. The attendance requirement can limit students' involvement in extracurricular activities and personal growth.
Other: Our college should improve its infrastructure. The crowd is more.
