Maharashtra Institute of Technology Art Design and Technology University (MIT ADTU) was established by an Act of the State Legislature of Maharashtra as a Private University and is recognised by the UGC. Moreover, MIT ADU was under the flagship of MAEER’s MIT Group of Institutions. - MIT is the flagship institute of MIT Group of Institutions, established in 1983 under the trust called ‘Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Educational Research, Pune’ (MAEER).
