Placements and infrastructure of NIT, Hamirpur are good, and this is the best place to study.

Placements: The placements are good on the campus. Reputed companies like Leyland, Hindustan, and Zinc Limited visit the campus for placements with an increase in the average package every year. Every year, computer science students get double placements. Students from my batch are in every field like in government sector, NGO, education industries, production, and services.

If you are nature lover and can study by your own this college is the best place for you.

Placements: The placement in the college is good or moreover satisfying. This year the highest placement was given to Sikhar Srivastava- 75 LPA, CSE 4year (IIIT Una ). While the packages in other branches are also satisfying, in chemical the highest package was of 22 LPA. In civil department placements are not so good as compared to other NITs it's okay. When you are talking about placements, it depends on the student rather than on the college. CSE packages are good from here and most of the NITs while tal...

One of the best campuses in India with the freedom to innovate. You will get lots of free time here.

Placements: Placements here are below average. Most of the companies visiting here are the IT companies because there is no nearby airports or railway stations. Therefore most of MNCs avoid visiting here. The highest package received here is above 25 LPA. Sometimes, it depends on your luck.

The 2nd most beautiful campus in India.

Placements: The placement opportunities for CSE and ECE students are good. Only a few companies visit for architecture students. However, it is easy to find a job for yourself in architecture outside the campus. In architecture department, only 3-4 people are placed on the campus annually. They are placed in multinational companies like Taj, L&T, etc. Some students have also open up a start-up and have been successfully running it.

In chemical stream 6 students get selected in reliance petrochemical with packages started from 3 Lacs to 8 Lacs also. Some chemical students also selected in IT sector.

Satisfied with the faculty members and the infrastructure.

Placements: For the B.Tech students, the placements are good. Almost the whole batch got placed. But there are few companies and universities for the M.Tech students. There are no good placements for the M.Tech students. Most of the companies prefer the B.Tech students to M.Tech students, so there are a few placements for the M.Tech students.

It has good infrastructure, faculty and facilities.

Placements: The placements are neither good nor bad especially for mechanical and civil. Because most of the companies come here are for coding, or you can say computer based. If you are not good at coding, then make yourself best in that, but there is also a provision of off-campus placements.

The best time of my life so far.

Placements: The placement season lasts the entire duration of the final year, with some students even getting a pre-placement offer, which is basically, the company offering employment before the official kick-off of the placement season. The training and placement officer, along with his team of placement representatives from each department help get the maximum placements for the students. Consequently, about 97% of the eligible students get placements directly from college, the remaining few either start...

A review on National institute of technology, Hamirpur.

Placements: The placements in Nith are good, this year, we got a higher package of about 75 lacs p.a in the computer science engineering, and many more companies come for placements for various engineering branches. For chemical engineering and various branches, many more companies started to visit the campus from last 2 years, and students are getting placed with good packages.

Good placement in 2017. Really good infrastructure & facilities. Overall, the experience was great.

Placements: As of now, I see students of other colleges, and I can definitely say that we have great placement opportunities. Many MNCs visited our campus like Maruti Suzuki, Godrej, Saint Gobain, Capgemini, Hero Group, Honda R&D, Ashoka Leyland, PSUs (BPCL, HPCL) & many other. Believe me, the list is bigger and they offered decent packages. So, don't worry about placement. The highest package given by Adobe in CSE branch was 34 lacs per annum. The lowest was around 3.4 lacs per annum. The average package w...

A final year perception of NITH.

Placements: The placement policy here ensures that every student gets a fair chance until he/she gets placed. Proper efforts are kept by the T&P cell. There is a well-dedicated team of TPRs for all branches who constantly work for the placements. The placement index is increasing every year, and the average package for CSE is 8 lacs per annum. Other branches are also doing quite well.

One of the most beautiful colleges in India.

Placements: On an average, a student will be paid 5.5 LPA annually. The highest package changes from a minimum of 4 LPA to 17 LPA. Almost every student of the 4th year will be placed in one or the other way. Some may be placed in mass placements. Nearly 30 companies approach NIT Hamirpur.

The best engineering institute to enhance your knowledge.

Placements: NITH is well-known engineering institute with good placements from the last decades. If I talk about this year 2017, the highest package offered was 75 LPA for the computer science, and three were placed in mechanical engineering for 35 LPA. In the chemical 6 were placed in Reliance petrochemical limited and one in Indian oil, Two were placed in Hindustan zinc limited. So, there are good placements in the college and no need to worry.

We have a beautiful campus and an okayish faculty.

Placements: The placements at NIT-Hamirpur are looked over by the training and placement cell with the help of elected TPR's or training and placement representatives. Most of the students of my college, irrespective of the branch, get the jobs in IT companies and lots of them visit the campus for recruitment. Usually, we have Samsung, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Adobe, United Health Group, L&T, Jio, etc., visiting the campus. In total, around 40 to 50 Companies visit NITH during the placement period. Satisfied with what college had offered.

Placements: The placements are really good. ECE had the highest number of mass recruitment in the leaving batch in this year, but the highest amount of packages went to computer science with one guy getting an off-campus placement of nearly seventy-five lacs per annum which has now pushed many students to pursue their interests in engineering.

Satisfactory placement and infrastructure. The college beauty is mesmerising.

Placements: The placement record of NIT Hamirpur is good with almost 100% placements in branches like CSE, ECE and EEE. As far as the civil engineering branch is concerned, almost 60% of the batch is placed this year. This is usually the case in almost every year. A few core companies such as L&T visit the campus every year and takes around 40 students with a package of around 5.5 LPA. Placements: The placement scenario of the computer science and electronics engineering is awesome. Many students land up with more than one job at the end of the year. Mechanical and electrical engineering placements are also good as 75-80% of the class gets placed at the end. NIT Hamirpur - A great learning place within mountains

Placements: Placements were good. All the students were placed. The average CTC for core branches was around 5 lacs. Roles were offered in multiple domains such as analytics, data science, front-end web developer, etc. For internships, students have to find them on their own. Some selected students get an internship from the college.

The average salary offered is Rs. 4 LPA. All the mass recruiters such as Samsung, Oracle, Sapient, Playbuff, Maruti, Belzabar, SAP labs, Paytm, etc., have visited the campus.
