To apply for BTech at NIT Trichy, candidates must follow the step of registration for JEE Main. Intersted candidates can visit the official website of NTA and apply for JEE Main entrance exam. No, NIT Trichy does not offer admission to any of its courses directly. Admission is strictly entrance-based. For BTech, MTech, MSc, and MCA courses, national-level examinations such as JEE Main,  GATE,  IIT JAM, and NIMCET are accepted. Candidates shortlisted based on the exam scores further need to take part in the respective counselling procedures such as JoSAA for BTech, CCMT for MTech, and CCMN for MSc.
