I am satisfied with our seniors.
Placements: Placements are decent. Some top geeks got a salary package of 1.5 CPA off-campus. Top companies like Atlassian, Microsoft, Google, etc., visited our campus and offered a salary package of 80 LPA. It is a domestic offer. Our college provides decent placements. We have a very large and strong alumni network.
Infrastructure: Hostels are not about infrastructure. It's all about with whom you are spending the time. There are only 2-3 triple sharing rooms. All the hostel rooms are double-sharing, so it's not an issue. The hostel allotment is like a lucky draw if you get a C block in the 1st year. The hostel has a D block.
Faculty: Some faculty members are top-notch in our course. They are London, Lunds University Sweden. She got an award from the president. For core, they have top-class qualified professors who have completed their research in ISRO, Bhabha Atomic Research Center and IPER.
Other: I chose this course because the teacher, Uma Batra, is the one who keeps metallurgy and materials strong in PEC.

This is the best university in north India.
Placements: Placements are great. The average salary package offered is 20 LPA to 30 LPA, and the lowest is 7 LPA. Top companies like Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and many others come to recruit students here. Almost 100% of students get placements. Top roles are offered.
Infrastructure: It provides the best facilities, even better than some NITs. The quality of the hostels and departments is very good. The mess is of very good quality. The food is very tasty. Multiple grounds are present for sports activities. Medical facilities are great as it is very close to PGI.
Faculty: Exams are very difficult. Teachers are the best. The course curriculum is easy. Professors are well qualified. Almost every student passes every semester. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Teachers are very knowledgeable.

Good placements in Down season of Jobs due to great Alumni network - PEC Chandigarh Review
Placements: About 30-40% of the students gets placed every year from our batch of 51 but the placement percentage is about 88% because many students leave the placements for higher studies like MBA, Mtech etc. The lowest package was about 7 lakhs and highest was about 22 lakhs in our branch. Top roles offered in our course is of R&D in the materials field in many Metallurgy companies.
Infrastructure: The course curriculum of our college is good professional skills like Communication skills are added in the course along with social skills for tackling climate changes. The integration of AI and startups are also taught in the micro courses or electives. The hostels are pretty average considering the amount of fees given which is approximately 81500 but the room sizes are pretty small in B-blocks Shivalik but C-block has good rooms. The mess food is average and the rotis are poorly baked until pressure from student body....
Faculty: The Faculty and curriculum for our course is good the HOD , Prof JD Sharma , is a great guy and always looks out for his students. The course curriculum is also good and makes the Students fairly ready for the industry though not fully prepared. The exams are fairly easy to pass and a decent effort is required in some subjects to get 8cgpa+

Review of Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.
Placements: There were 72 students in our batch, out of which 48 got placed, and the remaining either opted for higher studies or off-campus placements. Vedanta and GAIL were some of the top recruiters. The salary package offered was 5 LPA to 11 LPA. Internships were also provided.
Infrastructure: The campus was quite good. The library was good. There were four hostels for boys and two for girls. They organised sports. The mess food was quite good.
Faculty: Our course covered all the necessary topics in four years. Practicals were arranged for a better learning experience. Semester exams were moderate, depending on the level of preparation of students.
Other: An annual cultural PEC fest was conducted every year. Apart from that, there were clubs such as robotics club, Rotaract, IEEE, and ISTE.

PEC Chandigarh College Review.
Placements: About 35–40% of students get placed out of 60, but the placement percentage is about 88% because some students don't sit for placements and go for higher studies like MBA, M.Tech, and even UPSC preparation. The highest package from this year was 22 LPA, and the lowest was 7 LPA. The top roles offered are in the R&D department.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the College is decent but can be better there are Wi-Fis available on the entire campus called PEC-Wi-Fi, and students study through PPT and whiteboards. There is also a central library that is open until 8pm. Apart from that, the hostel is pretty average considering they take about 81500 per year and the rooms sizes are average in B-block Shivalik Hostel but in C-block the rooms are great. The mess food is just average. There are plenty of sporting clubs and facilities available.
Faculty: The faculty members of our branch are great; they support us in every way possible and ensure that each child gets through the placements. Our HOD, JD, sir, is also a great person. Our faculty members are highly qualified; some are even from IITs. The semester exams are easy if you pull an all-nighter one day before the exam. You can finish the entire syllabus, but the stress levels are also high, so I recommend finishing the syllabus at least 1 week before the exams by YouTube.

Students also asked

Q:   Can I get PEC Chandigarh with 85 percentile?

A:

Yes, applicants have a good possibility of being admitted to Punjab Engineering College Chandigarh (PEC) if their percentile is at least 85. Candidates who show competitive performance and have a percentile between 80 and 85 are strong contenders for admission to PEC's prestigious programmes. However, a number of other variables, including the quantity of applications received, the particular course sought, and the admission standards established by the university, can affect the results of admission.

Q:   Can we get direct admission in PEC Chandigarh?

A:

For PEC Chandigarh BTech admission is based on a candidate's GATE Main rank and for MTech, the University accepts admission through GATE scores. Moreover, PhD admission is conducted on the basis of a written test and Personal Interview (PI).

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
