Our university is the best to study mathematics.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 8.4 LPA. Private coaching centers visit our campus to hire students. The main job was teaching. Very few students got internships in this course.
Infrastructure: Ragging is a very big problem in our college. Hostel is far away from PG or mess around the main campus. The hostel rooms are not good. Water supply is also not good. More than 100 computers are installed to do practicals in our college, and there is a very big projector for teachers. Frequent power cuts and prevalence of drugs and alcohol always happen inside hostel rooms without the knowledge of the warden.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent in our college. You can study any optional paper you want. Teachers are very friendly and helpful. They are the backbone of the entire faculty members.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it.

Our college provides good infrastructure, facilities, and knowledgeable faculty members.
Placements: As from the different courses of our university like engineering, computer science, and technology, many students got placements in good companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, etc. But from our department comparatively less amount of student got placed. They got IITs, IISERs, and pursue doc., post-doc, from abroad as well. Around 75% of the students got placements. Many of them are freelancers. I am also an online educator of Mathematics at Chegg Inc, Studygate (USA), and Kunduz India, and this course helped me a lot to get the opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university, especially our department is brilliant. Our classrooms have 3 air-conditioning systems and are well decorated. The library is also has a very good ambiance, and it is a quiet place to study. There is also have free Wi-Fi for students. The food quality of mess is average, if you want then you can order or purchase your food from outside the campus. There are many good food stalls outside the campus near Kalyani Ghospara station or you can cook for yourself. But the food served in the canteen is quite good. Medical facilities are available at the university. There is also a gym ground and building in the physical education department. This a huge facility for fitness freak people. There are also sports facilities like a kit for cricket, football, hockey, volleyball, and tennis. I would like to give 5 stars to our infrastructure.
Faculty: Every teacher in our department is a very helpful and knowledgeable person. They are professionals but teach us like we are their own children. They are connected to us. This course makes students ready for higher studies as well as to contribute to our society, teaching Maths to children is very important. As it is master level, the semester exams are a bit tough. Though almost 75-85% of the students are managed to pass the exams with a good SGPA.
Other: This course is pure mathematics department and I choose this course because I had a keen interest in it. Pure mathematics fellows can research further and contribute to the betterment of higher mathematical research. I would like to suggest a few things to be improvised, firstly in the entire coursework we learned measure theory in the 3rd Semester, as the topic is highly important, this can be added in the 2nd-semester syllabus withdrawing mechanics portion of 2nd sem for only pure mathematics students, as mechanics is no of use for us, and add (bring back)Algebraic Topology to optional paper choices in 4th (final sem) semester. Many events and fests are held in our university. Here students get SVMCM scholarships for good results, and students can also join NCC and other activities here.

Review of University of Kalyani.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide direct placements, but faculty members are very friendly and cooperative. They teach well enough and up to the world-class standard. Our university provides coaching for NET examination. An average of 30% of the students gets a junior research fellowship (JRF) every year. The chemistry department is the best in terms of the facilities. Our college provides B.Tech and also degree course.
Infrastructure: Every department has a separate lab. Arts, science, commerce and B.Tech course are available. The campus has a free Wi-Fi zone and free computer practice centre, and the library is world-class. A hospital is available inside the institution for all students and staff members. Our college has 4 playgrounds, one stadium, 3 auditoriums, 4 canteens and free gym. The library is available here.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, very friendly, and they provide world-class teaching. Good research work is done here by the students and teachers. The course curriculum is updated, and the mathematics department has its own computer lab.
Other: I liked mathematics from my school life, so I chose this subject for my master. I got admission here through an admission test, and this course fee is only Rs. 10,000. DU University provides scholarships to better students. Our college has a separate physical education department which provides gym facility to make our body fit. The campus is situated near the railway station called Kalyani Ghoshpara, but it is in a very less crowded area. The campus is very useful, lovely and good for study.

It is an ideal place where you can learn to explore yourself.
Placements: Companies visiting our college to offer placements are average. The college authority is working hard to invite good companies. There is an active placement cell in the college which is managed by students most of the time. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Students hardly get internships from this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good as this is a part of Kalyani University. There are lots of buildings which constitute various labs, and all the labs are in good condition. There is also a playground for sportspersons. Hostel facilities are good, and all the necessary things are available in the nearby markets. Overall, the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very helpful and qualified. Ancient methods of teaching are used. Smart labs are available. Industry exposure is not provided. Most of the syllabus is restricted to theories and is not very important. I don't find the curriculum much useful.
Other: Recently, a lot of events like cultural and tech fests are organised on the campus for students. Regularly, extracurricular activities are conducted by seniors. Our seniors organised a fresher's party. An annual programme was held by college authority.

I am satisfied because of the good teaching methods, the good infrastructure, and faculty members.
Placements: Placements were not good. From our department, some students got internships in popular companies like TCS, Wipro, and LG. Some students became station masters in Indian Railways.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms were good. Wi-Fi was not good. The canteen served fast food items. It helped us a lot. The beds in the hostel were not good, but food, water, and electricity were always available in our hostel. We used to play football and cricket regularly in the evening.
Faculty: Our HOD was great. Other teachers were also supportive and helpful. They had Ph.D. degrees. They were very knowledgeable. Semester exams were easy for students who regularly did their home work and studied properly. Overall, the passing percentage was good.
Other: I chose mathematics because it has always been my favourite subject. The best thing is that mathematics helps us a lot in our daily lives. It also aids us in competitive examinations. We needed some more teachers in our department.
