College provides diverse cultural clubs and societies which enrich students.
Placements: Students become eligible for campus placements after the 5th and 6th semesters. The companies that visit the campus include reputable organizations like Tata and Infosys. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue a software or government job, depending on my degree status. I also have plans to explore opportunities abroad.
Infrastructure: The college hosts several annual festivals, including Elysium (media fest), Srijan (college fest), and Shree. Each club organizes its events, and the Entrepreneurship Cell conducts specialized fests. B.Com students also participate in various entrepreneurship programs. The library is extensive, with over 10,000 books and a wide range of journals. Classrooms are modern, featuring smart boards, air conditioning, and projectors. They are spacious, MAT-finished, and hi-tech. Media and computer labs are available, and the college supports diverse sports like volleyball, badminton, and basketball. A large playground is present, and a student portal streamlines processes. Student life is vibrant, with clubs like Yukti (Theatre Club), Debsoc (Debating Society), Nrityachandam (Eastern Dance), and others, including an entrepreneurship club. The Student Council oversees activities, ensuring a holistic and engaging campus experience.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified and maintain good communication with students. Some faculty are lenient and approachable, while others are strict and adhere firmly to rules, such as ID cards, proper footwear, and uniforms in labs.

Teachers are very friendly and helpful. They are ready to help anytime.
Placements: As internships are part of our course, we were taken to NGOs, the High Court, the Park Hotel, and Sundarbans to do our employment skill enhancement internship. Our teachers made that path. We didn't get any stipend offer because it's the course structure. Other than that, AJC Bose doesn't have any courses that can lead to an internship.
Infrastructure: AJC Bose College celebrates every cultural occasion, from Saraswati Puja to Eid. For students, AJC Bose Student Council throws two big parties, which are Holi and Saraswati Puja. The library has all the books needed for the available courses, apart from that, students get expanded digital library support. Free Wi-Fi is available. AJC Bose has an NCC structure for students. Socially, the seniors or super seniors are very friendly and helpful.
Faculty: The exam papers that are set by the college are moderately hard. They set very expected, selective questions, and teachers check answer sheets quite hard. Personally, every faculty from this college is moderately good, so far, there are no strong complaints against AJC Bose. The faculty I like the most is the expanded library, digital library, and upgraded labs. The faculty is quite helpful and approachable.

All about University of Calcutta .
Placements: Many companies visit for placement, and it's frequent. Most students in our department opt for a Ph.D. and research. Each batch sees a substantial number securing Junior Research Fellowships and pursuing Ph.D.s in renowned institutes. For instance, in my M.Sc. batch, five students obtained JRFs and are gearing up for Ph.D. programs in esteemed institutions.
Infrastructure: Our hostel system offers triple-sharing rooms until the third year, followed by single rooms thereafter. Each room is equipped with a single bed, a desk, and a chair, along with amenities like lighting, fans, Wi-Fi, and electricity. The living infrastructure is commendable. The registration process can be a bit challenging due to the university criteria, which include residing more than 60 km away from the campus. However, once selected, hostel admission is ensured. The meals provided are of good quality and hygiene, with lunch and dinner served. Additionally, for those seeking alternative accommodation, various options, such as PGs, messes, and flats, are available for rent.
Faculty: The faculty members at our university are highly educated and possess excellent presentation skills, which greatly aid in our comprehension of concepts. Each semester, we sit for examinations, contributing to an overall enriching academic experience. However, in contrast to other institutions where postgraduate courses span four semesters over two years, at Aliph College, the programme is condensed into just one year. While this saves time for students, it also introduces pressure, albeit manageable, which can have both a positive and negative impact.

The environment of the college is very good.
Placements: Students with eligible qualifications are given opportunities to attend various job fairs and campus placements conducted in the college. The opportunity is usually given to students in their final year or semester. Various national as well as international companies offer interesting jobs with exciting salaries. Salaries can range from 10,000 to several lakhs based on the post offered. If students are looking for higher studies after post-graduation, they can opt for Ph.D., M.Phil, B.Ed., etc.
Infrastructure: So many hostels in our hostel up to the 3rd year, all rooms are triple shareable. After the 3rd year, single rooms are present. In-room, one single B.Ed., one desk, chair, light, fan, Wi-Fi, electricity are available. Infrastructure is good for living. The registration process is a little difficult because the University has some conditions like your present address distance being more than 60 km from your college campus. If it is more than that, you can easily submit documents with all ID proof. Then the University publishes a list, and if you are selected, you will be eligible for hostel admission. Meals are good and hygienic. Lunch and dinner are available. If you want to rent a room, then many options are there like PG, mess, flat. Hostel Fee: INR 1652 per year.
Faculty: The course helps in getting a better job, and I can study animal things more effectively. The ratio of faculty to students is like 10:1. There are a lot of teachers, but students are only 90. All faculty are highly qualified, and they have experience of more than 10 years. Their teaching method is average, and some teachers are very bad at teaching. Exams happen very timely, with one internal and one external exam in each semester. The questions are average and not much difficult to pass. Class size: 56 Course fees: INR 18000 per year.

The campus life is very best.
Placements: Since the courses offered by the college are not professional, very few companies come for placements. Mostly, research scholarships are offered to some students who are scientific and good at academics. 3–4% of students get placed. Companies that come for placements are oracle, Infosys, etc. Geo Wild and other such platforms also appear to give students a chance to choose such careers. I am doing an M.Sc. in Zoology currently.
Infrastructure: We have so many hostels in our hostel that, up to the 3rd year, all rooms are triple shareable. After 3rd-year, single rooms are present. In-room: one single bed, one desk, a chair light, a fan, Wi-Fi, and electricity are available. Infrastructure is good for living. The registration process is a little difficult because the university has some conditions, like your present address being more than 60 km from your college campus. If it is more than you can get easily, you submit documents with all I'd proof, and the university will publish a list. If you are selected, you will be eligible for hostel admission. Meals are good, and hygiene is good. Lunch and dinner are available. If you want to rent a room, there are so many options out there, like PG, mess, or flat. Hostel Fee : INR 1652 per year.
Faculty: I chose the course because it was the best college providing an M.Sc. in Zoology in Kolkata. Faculty: The student ratio is 1:4. All the facilities at Maulana Azad College have completed their Ph.D.s, and they conduct smart classes to teach us. Term exams are in the form of semesters, recurring every 6 months. Faculty members clear our doubts nicely, so it is not difficult to pass the exam. Class size:-56 The course costs INR 18000 per year.
