This college is perfect in terms of return on investment.
Placements: Placements are average. They are not too good and not too bad. The average salary package offered in our CSE branch is about 7 LPA. The overall package offered to all branches is about 4 LPA. Last time, our senior cracked a salary package of 30 LPA.
Infrastructure: I am not staying in the hostel, so I can't review it. But our course is amazing. The syllabus specifically targets a job curriculum for a better placement of students in our college. My friends told me that hostels are not too good but not too bad either.
Faculty: Some of our faculty members are very good and well-experienced, but some are new in this profession. There is a mixed environment where we get to learn the core things as well as the advanced things. I will rate it 4 out of 5. Practical teachers are too good.

Haldia Institute of Technology.
Placements: While placements aren't exceptional, they are not dismissals either. On the first day, our course professors assured us that if we attended classes diligently and followed the curriculum, a job would be guaranteed. However, the salary package is too low in that case. To secure a more competitive salary, students must go beyond the classroom and put in significant extra effort on their own. In conclusion, while not comparable to top colleges like IITs or NITs, the ROI is solid. I am giving 4 stars for good ROI.
Infrastructure: Hostels have high-speed Wi-Fi, but there is no wide campus. Wi-Fi and mobile network coverage is poor. The best 5g speed we got is 60 Mbps, but switching to Jio works better. They are adding a 4th floor to the building, which you will notice upon arrival. Overall, the infrastructure is good with ample grounds for sports. Hostels offer indoor and outdoor games like chess, table tennis, cricket, football, and carrom with hostel-level tournaments. The library is huge with books for even UPSC, SSC, M. Tech, and more. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items are available daily in hostels.
Faculty: Our faculty members are helpful and accessible via call or WhatsApp for doubts. They are knowledgeable with many holding PhDs from USA, Israel, and Germany. The curriculum is designed to help secure a 5 LPA job. Semesters are relatively easy, with almost everyone passing.
Other: For first-year students, there is Ranichak Hostel. It has the best food and keeps you out of everyone's range.

college is good place is not good for other state
Placements: my eye sees some branded companies are coming in college campus, but the package offers not high. may be 4-5 lakh range but some are also crack good package, so don'ts warries Visteon and Accenture top recruiter. for software deployment is use in companies to hire. in 2024 avg is approx. 5lpa not exact 150 students get internship in college campus and other try any other place but the college located in offside area so no many tourists spot near college and also normal ragging are there in my request to take drop or any other college. hit is the last option. i hope you understand what i am say that.
Infrastructure: good and beautiful not mess are there so that is the problem for personal room but its good for 1st year roommate is matter. I can suggest if you join hit college don't take hostel why I am say you know about slowly- slowly. don't warry I am also help to you.
Faculty: annual sports and clubs are available so, enjoy in 3rd, I like sprots and other things which is present in Haldia. your college life be good but not very good. seniors are helpful. I think you guess what I am say about the college. I can definitely help you my Gmail is justfocus@gmail.com.

Good college, and placement is decent. Green campus but lack of beautiful sites.
Placements: Placement is good in HIT, as it is a tier 1 college. So the placement rate is good enough, and also it will give you the opportunity to get a high-paid job if you have the guards to get it. The highest placement is approximately 33 LPA. The average for tech (I think) is approximately 6, 7 LPA. You can work hard, then it will be 10-12 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel is fully updated, but the college is spread up to 40 acres. But there are no any such beautiful spots or proper campus management. Just more, the college is only covered with trees and grasses. Good things: have many big playgrounds. The main campus is beautiful. A very big library and good student-teacher interaction.
Faculty: Good faculty and teachers. The curriculum is as per MAKAUT, as it is a tier 1 college, but you have to work for yourself to get a high-paid job. Exam papers are moderate and good according to the curriculum. In the library, there are thousands of books, so if you want to prepare for any exam, then absolutely you can.

Good academics and decent placements.
Placements: The placement scenario at Haldia Institute of Technology (HIT) is commendable, especially for students in core engineering and IT-related branches. HIT has a dedicated training and placement cell (TPC) that actively works to bridge the gap between students and recruiters. The cell organizes pre-placement training programs, including mock interviews, aptitude tests, group discussions, and technical skill enhancement sessions, to prepare students for competitive job markets. Prominent companies such as TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, Capgemini, and Accenture frequently visit the campus for recruitment drives. Core companies like L&T, Vedanta, and Tata Steel also recruit students from mechanical, civil, and electrical engineering streams. The average placement percentage across branches typically ranges between 70-85%, with the highest placement rates seen in Computer Science, IT, and Electronics branches. The salary packages offered vary depending on the branch and the company. The average salary package is around 4-5 LPA, while top recruiters offer packages as high as 12-15 LPA for deserving candidates. Many students also secure off-campus placements and internships, further boosting their career opportunities. In addition to corporate jobs, HIT provides support for students aspiring to pursue higher studies or government jobs by organizing workshops and guidance sessions. Alumni networks and industry connections also play a vital role in helping students gain internships and job opportunities. While placements are generally strong, some students feel that non-IT branches could benefit from increased attention in terms of opportunities and exposure. Strengthening collaborations with more core companies and expanding the pool of recruiters can further improve the placement scenario. Overall, HIT offers a robust placement system, helping students secure good career opportunities and build a strong foundation for their professional journey.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure at Haldia Institute of Technology (HIT) is designed to provide students with a comfortable and conducive living environment. HIT offers separate hostels for boys and girls with well-maintained buildings and essential facilities. Each hostel is equipped with spacious rooms, which can accommodate two to three students, and rooms are usually furnished with beds, study tables, chairs, and storage units. The hostels have 24/7 security and surveillance to ensure the safety of students. Cleanliness is maintained through regular housekeeping, and hygiene is prioritized in common areas like washrooms and dining space. Drinking water is available through water purifiers and coolers. The hostels also provide uninterrupted power supply and Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing students to focus on their academics and stay connected. The dining facilities are well-organized, offering nutritious and hygienic meals with a variety of options to suit students' tastes. There are common rooms in the hostels equipped with televisions and indoor games like table tennis and carrom to facilitate recreation and relation. Additionally, sports facilities are available nearby, encouraging students to engage in physical activities. The hostels have a warden and supporting staff to address students' concerns and maintain discipline. Hostel feels are reasonable, making it a viable option for students from various backgrounds. However, some students suggest that improvements in Wi-Fi speed, food quality, and maintenance in hostels could further enhance the living experience. Overall, the hostel infrastructure at HIT provides a safe and comfortable environment for students, contributing positively to their academic journey and overall development.
Faculty: The faculty at Haldia Institute of Technology (HIT) plays a crucial role in shaping the academic environment of the college. HIT has a diverse pool of faculty members, comprising both experienced professors and young, enthusiastic lecturers. The faculty members are highly qualified, with many holding postgraduate and doctoral degrees in their respective fields. They are dedicated to teaching and provide students with a solid understanding of core concepts, practical knowledge, and industry-relevant skills. The teaching approach varies among individual professors, with some focusing on traditional lecture-based methods while others incorporate project-based learning, group discussions, and hands-on activities. While many faculty members excel in delivering complex topics in a clear and engaging manner, there is occasional variability in teaching quality, especially for specific subjects. The student-teacher interaction is generally good, though some students feel that faculty members could be more approachable outside of class hours. In terms of research, HIT faculty members actively engage in research and development, contributing to various technical and engineering journals. Many professors also collaborate with industry experts, offering students the opportunity to work on real-world projects and research activities. This engagement benefits students who are interested in pursuing higher studies or research careers. The faculty members also play a pivotal role in guiding students during their internships, projects, and placements. They often ACT as mentors, providing valuable insights and support to students in their academic and professional growth. However, there is a scope for further improvement in terms of faculty-student interaction, timely feedback, and the incorporation of modern teaching tools and technologies. Enhancing faculty development programs could contribute to better teaching methodologies and overall academic performance.
Other: I like computer backgrounds. They should employ more skillful teachers to improve our course. Events and fests are the best.
