Q:   Is B.E. / B.Tech at ADGITM worth the investment?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is B.E./B.Tech at ADGITM Worth the Investment?

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

Pros:

* Good infrastructure: The college has modern infrastructure, including well-equipped laboratories, libraries, and sports facilities.
* Qualified faculty: Most teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful in nature.
* Relevant curriculum: The course curriculum is relevant, making students industry-ready.
* Decent placements: While placements may not be exceptional, around 60-80% of students get placed, with top packages reaching up to INR15-18 LPA.
* Internship opportunities: Internships are offered to students, providing valuable industry experience.

Cons:

* Placement cell needs improvement: Despite efforts, the placement cell could benefit from further growth.
* Limited hostel options: Unfortunately, the college does not offer hostel facilities, forcing students to find alternative accommodations.
* Variable teacher quality: Not all teachers may be equally effective or supportive.
* Average package: While some students receive high packages, the average package offered is relatively lower.

Overall, while ADGITM has its strengths, particularly in terms of infrastructure and faculty, there is room for improvement in certain areas, such as placements and accommodation options. With careful consideration and planning, students can still reap benefits from investing in a B.E./B.Tech programme at ADGITM.

Note: These findings are based solely on the provided student testimonials and alumni feedback. Opinions and experiences may vary.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

One of the best colleges to study in
Placements: Almost everyone gets a placement at our college. Some students choose to have an interview outside of college. The highest salary package I heard of was 42 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 10,000 per month. The top recruiters that came to our college are Amazon and Infosys. The top roles given are software development engineers and data scientists.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of our college are very good and well maintained. The classrooms are well ventilated. Our college has a big library and good librarians. The labs are also good and have all the important equipment needed for experiments and practicals. The canteen is big and has a variety of beverages, snacks, and other fast food available.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good and supportive of students. The syllabus is a little bit off and has room for improvement. It somehow makes students industry-ready. The semester exam was medium-level difficult.
Other: I am interested in information and the way it is transmitted, so I took it as my course. The best thing about it is that it also consists of all the topics related to computer science and engineering. We have multiple events, fests and seminars every year. Scholarships are also available for hardworking students.

Everything is good, but I wish they focus more on practicals.
Placements: Everything is fine here. The teachers are good, and they should work more on the practical classes. The average package offered in our college is about 3-5 LPA, and the highest package is about 35 LPA. I think 50-60% of students got internships in my course in companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. The college structure is excellent from the outside. But inside, it looks average. The labs are not so different and unique. Classrooms is average. The library is small.
Faculty: The teachers are well educated. The teaching quality is good. Exams are held in a proper way and are not so difficult. The pass percentage is 33% in both theory and practicals. The course is good, not excellent.
Other: I chose computer science because everything is about technology now. If you have technical skills, you can easily grab a job. I wish they focused more on practicals. The campus is good.

You can opt for this college if you do not get colleges like msit, mait, bvcoe, DTU, nsit, usict.
Placements: Around 85% of students get placed from on campus placement. The highest package is 12 lpa. Average 4 lpa. The lowest package is 3.5 lpa. Top roles offered is software development engineer, power programmer, System engineer specialist associate software engineer. Top companies come for campus placement is Infosys, Accenture, cognizant, Wipro, Amazon, IBM.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available here. Classrooms are well maintained. Labs are also okay with AC. There is no any AC in the classroom. Library is not very good but okay. Canteen is excellent here and the price of food here is affordable. There is no any hostel in the campus. Grounds are not very big but okay.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable and the method of teaching is excellent. Course curriculum of Indraprastha University is not highly oriented to industry. If a student perform well in their own then he will definitely got in reputed organisation. Passing percentage is 40% Semester exams are not tough .
Other: I am a student of B.Tech in information technology branch placement can be improved.

Good faculty, great infrastructure but less placement (applicable only to MAE).
Placements: Placement not worth the studies you have done during your engineering, not worth the time you have invested, not worth the branch that you have selected. All about software companies and IT companies. No mechanical companies available for MAE students, only few companies just for name sake offering you quarters only, not worth the percentage you have gotten in your engineering, not worth your caliber.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good, well maintained and clean. No Wi-Fi though. Classrooms and library both are fine. Ground is quite spacious to play a football game and a nice basketball court. Food quality in canteen is amazing and not hostel available. Just look for the room nearby.
Faculty: Only speaking of my department, teachers were good at what they were assigned for, but the teaching quality of some teachers was average. Only conventional method was used for educating, no innovative ideas and stuff were talked about. Only some books were used as a medium yo educate, but still we learned a lot. Thankful to our teachers. I did not get any chance to get any industry exposure by my college. Course curriculum is not as per the technical advancement we are exposed to nowadays.
