BSc full form is a Bachelor of Science course which comprises subjects such as Mathematics, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Statistics, Psychology, Nutrition, Forestry, Computer Science, Home Science, Microbiology, Genetics, Agriculture, and the like. Furthermore, the curriculum broadens students' frontiers of thought and allows them to practise their skills in a variety of real-world scenarios. The BSc course curriculum includes major topic areas such as BSc physics, chemistry, biology, zoology, mathematics, computer science, and information technology.

The three-year BSc subjects are divided into six semesters. Students must pass both the theoretical and practical tests to pass each semester. The BSc course curriculum focuses on providing a firm foundation in science-related disciplines. The BSc curriculum incorporates fundamental physiology and systems that regulate modern existence. The majority of the BSc curriculum incorporates laboratory and research projects to assist students in obtaining a more holistic perspective.

BSc Important Facts

  • Because there are so many BSc subjects available, colleges cannot provide all specialisations. A college typically provides 5–6 disciplines for a BSc course.
  • Two core papers, one broad optional, and one obligatory subject make up the first year of BSc subjects.
  • The framework for BSc subjects emphasizes fundamental sciences and domain-based learning, enabling students to study applied science and technology and use it in practical settings.
  • The six-semester course division is revised in compliance with the UGC-established standards for universities.
  • The BSc modules are created to help graduates apply basic scientific principles to research methodology and create solutions in any technical domain.
