It has good faculty members.
Placements: No companies came for placement for civil engineering students. BIT has good placement offers for the IT field, but not for civil engineering. Two to three non-core companies came for placement, but very few were selected. The college had recommended us to the Brigade pool campus and other similar job fairs.
Infrastructure: BIT has all the necessary facilities required for our course. It has a CAD lab, a concrete and highway lab, a strength of materials lab, etc. It has a huge college library and a department library. BIT has a good canteen facility. We also had an annual sports event with kabaddi, football, and cricket tournaments.
Faculty: All faculty members are good and well qualified. They were very helpful and gave us constant support in our learning. BIT is affiliated with VTU, so the same curriculum was followed. Industrial training or internship was mandatory for all the students. Semester-end exams and internal assessment tests were conducted based on VTU guidelines. The minimum passing percentage is 40.

It has experienced faculty, and good infrastructure. We are expecting better placements in future.
Placements: The positive placement percentage would be average while considering all types of criteria. The average salary package depends upon the branches where B.E in computer science gets the highest number of placements when compared to B.E in civil engineering.
Infrastructure: The college has all kinds of basic facilities that an engineering college must have such as libraries filled with relevant books, reading rooms with Wi-Fi connection, classrooms with all necessary devices, clean and, hygiene toilet rooms, etc. Outside the college, there is a mess serves good food at the same rate that you would find outside the college premises. The hostel is also a good place to live in where the rooms are spacious and are well ventilated with all necessities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable indeed. The college is one of the oldest and well renowned in Bangalore. The course curriculum is according to the required knowledge in the present times and the time that is allowed to finish a semester is enough to study the given curriculum and be industry-ready with some exposure. The exams are quite above average and tough in some cases. Around 90% of students in a class pass the end-semester exam.
Other: I chose B.E. in civil engineering and wanted to proceed further in this industry and get a good placement. Many extracurricular activities take place in our college like TEDx talks, cultural events with high profile persons, etc.

It is a reputed college with well-equipped labs, and placements are also good.
Placements: Around 50% of the students got placed. The average salary package offered was around 4-5 LPA. L&T, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, etc., were some of the top recruiting companies in our course. Most of the students opted for higher studies and competitive exams like IES, GATE and other state engineering services examinations.
Infrastructure: The building is not very big, but our College has all the labs with modern equipment. Hostel facility is also good. Lodging and food facilities are good and hygienic. Our college actively participates in sports as well.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, especially senior teachers. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Survey camp and industry visits in the course provides practical aspects of the field. Doing an internship will be beneficial for students.
Other: I opted for civil engineering because I was interested in it. The college should provide more field experience which will improve the course. Manthan is the name of the annual fest of our college, and many celebrities visit here to attend the function. It is always entertaining.

I am satisfied with the quality of professors and lecturers.
Placements: I was a student of batch 2009-2013. About 70% of students in our batch got placed. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3.25 LPA. L&T, Punj Lloyd, and Sobha Ltd. were some companies visited the campus and hired many students.
Infrastructure: Facilities like libraries, laboratories, campus everything required in a good college is available at BIT. Hostel rooms are good with all necessities available in the hostel. Different hostel for girls and boys are provided. College provides all sports facilities, library and different clubs for extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified and well versed with knowledge. Professors were well versed and experienced with practical knowledge of day to day life which was helpful for students to get nurtured for future of life after college. The course curriculum is relevant to the practical world.

A college with good faculty but with average campus and good college life.
Placements: Campus Placement is not much but still some of the senior faculty helps to get good jobs and internship if you are good in your subjects. Salary package usually ranges from 2-4 Lacs. Usually core companies like Mahindra, L&T and few private construction companies come for placement. You will get internship with the help of department faculty. Mostly internships are of training type. Usually stipend internship depends upon your capability and how is your CV. In the last, companies will select on the basis of your CV and interviews. Yes, there is a placement cell.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average but at last it doesn't matter much as it has a reputation in VTU University. Rooms and labs are good. There is no ground for sports in the campus but within 500 m, there is a national ground where all outdoor sports takes place. We have a good canteen in context of taste, in context of infrastructure it is average. It is better to stay in outside the campus for boys but girls hostel is awesome but it is situated outside the campus.
Faculty: Teachers of civil engineering are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable but exception exists everywhere. Teaching quality is nice because some of our young as well as senior faculty are really good in their subjects. Student to faculty ratio is 60:1. We get industry exposure after 5 semester usually.
Other: We have manthan fest, Ganesh chathurthi celebration, ethnic day, and many events every year. It is situated in middle of Bangalore. So we get every type of mode of vehicle like bus, metro, etc. for transportation.
