COEP Teach Review for Elec.
Placements: For my department (Electrical Engineering), the placement is good compared to other colleges. The top recruiters that came were Caterpillar, Reliance, Texas Instruments, Deloitte, Tata, Ion, Bajaj, and many more. The highest package for Electrical was from TI with 36 Lacs CTC. The role offered was of Sales and Analog Engineer.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are great; the rooms are quite spacious, and the labs are also equipped with some of the best instruments. The library of the college is also quite rich in books and has diversity in the books. The Wi-Fi is quite problematic; it is not good in the hostel and college campus. The food in the mess and canteen is good. The food in the North Campus canteen is not up to the mark. There is a great sports culture in the college.
Faculty: The semester exams are of moderate difficulty; they are conducted in two halves: mid-sems and end-sems. The passing CGPA is 6.0, which is based on the relative grading in the college. The course curriculum is quite relevant and also has many industry visits planned so that students can get hands-on experience. The teachers are also quite qualified, and many have completed their Ph.D.

Overall Development, historic feeling, focus on extracurricular activities.
Placements: Till now 70% students are placed in my course in core and IT domain. Still placement is going on. The highest package till now is of CTC 33 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA. Many companies came like tata motors, Bajaj finserv, Aditya Birla groups, ICICI, CiTi bank and much more.
Infrastructure: College and hostel both has good infrastrure along with facilities of Wi-Fi and water availability. Labs are good. Hostel rooms are neat and clean. Table, chair, lamp, B.Ed and cupboard is there for each is n ice as compared to outside. Breakfast and snacks are also there in mess.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful but self study is the key to get marks. Curriculum is okay just sometimes you have to attend extra lectures to complete syllabus. On an average if you are scoring more than 40 (out of 100) marks, you will be passed (may vary according to subject and the highest scored marks). .
Other: There are mainly four events conducted throughout the year like MindSpark (Technical fest), Impressions ( Cultural fest), Regatta (Boat club event) and Gathering. Also Pune Startup fest is also there. Alongwith this many clubs organise their events.

Journey in India's 2nd oldest college.
Placements: 200+ companies visit the college for hiring students every year. So the placements of the college are above average. The highest package offered was 50 LPA this year. Average package offered is 7 LPA. Companies like DE also visit the college for recruitments. But there is a condition of the placements cell for the students to have a minimum score of 6.5 CGPA.
Infrastructure: The college has an excellent infrastructure with modern labs and classrooms. There is a big library in the college having different books. There is a special study area in the hostel for students. The campus is spread across 38 acres of land. There is a playground for the students to play different games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well qualified, but they don't teach well. They don’t understand what the students actually want. Course curriculum is relevant but some old subjects are still being taught by the faculty members. Exams are more difficult than other colleges in Pune.

Our college has excellent campus life.
Placements: In our college, most students in computer science are placed. Around 75% to 90% of students are placed. Placements are comparatively low in M Groups.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The main college campus is divided into two parts, namely, the north campus and the south campus. The infrastructure of the department is excellent.
Faculty: The first-year COEP syllabus is the same for all first-year students. After their first year, students get to study in their respective departments. Our teachers are quite helpful. The course curriculum is relevant. The syllabus is up to the mark.

The best college in Maharashtra.
Placements: COEP is known all over India and abroad as a provider of dynamic and talented engineers to industries and various user agencies. Top-notch companies visit the campus every year. The highest CTC stood at 39.2 LPA and the average CTC stood at 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The main building is the present-day administrative building of the college. It houses the Director, the Dean of Academic Affairs, the Dean of Student Affairs, the Gymkhana, the Examination cell, and other various important administrative heads of the college. The building is almost three floors tall with a base floor length of 18 meters and a width of 9 meters. The building was refurbished in 2012.
Faculty: The overall relationship between COEP faculty and students is good and I mean it. It's well accepted that faculty members have to earn the respect of students but as we are here to learn something from 'them', it is our job to be humble. I don't see any qualification with students by which they can say they know more than the faculty.
Other: College of Engineering, Pune is known for having a vibrant campus life. MindSpark is the annual technical festival of the college organized by the students. It is one of the biggest technical festivals in the country. With more than 70 colleges participating, Zest, one of the biggest sports fests in the country, is the annual sports festival of COEP. The 88-year-long tradition of the college that is Regatta, continues to draw huge crowds. The Regatta is an annual show which consists of students demonstrating the use of various boats such as kayaks, sculls, etc. The students get a chance to showcase their cultural skills be it acting, singing, or dancing in the Annual Social Gathering which is an intra-institute cultural festival. The college is also famous for its drama team as well as its 'Street play' and 'Mad Ads' team which has won many national level competitions. The college magazine, Abhiyanta, is published every year, with each edition focusing on a particular department of the college. COEP encourages its students to cultivate many skills and develop multi-faceted personalities through these myriad activities.
