The faculty are not good so students have to study by there own for the exams.
Placements: Almost all the students get placed at VJTI as TPO of VJTI tries to it fully for every student. In my branch EXTC almost 94% is the placement percent. The highest is around 36.8 lakhs by Texas instruments for 2 students. The average package is around 14 lakhs. The top recruiting companies are Texas instruments, Siemens and many more MNC's. Till now only 5 students got internship as less companies are arrived.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good enough not that great but it contains every essential component. The college classes are now fitted with acs and some with projectors too. There are labs with non working components so it is one cons. Overall its ok. The hostel now are renovated so has good condition and capacity.
Faculty: Curriculum is now updated so it is now in accordance with nep. The exams are tough enough and hard so it is hard to get through and makes good understanding of concepts. Faculty are not good as some do not understand the concepts. They don't even know how to apply in real life.

Consider these points before joining VJTI.
Placements: At the beginning of the season, 85% of the students were placed. By the end of the season, 95% of the students had been placed. The highest package offered was 25 lakhs by Texas Instruments. Texas Instruments also offered a package of 29 lakhs. The top recruiting companies for EXTC core were Texas Instruments, and for CS background it was Google. This year only two students got the highest package of 29 lakhs, while last year 15 to 20 students received that package. The roles offered for software were software developer and data science analytics, while for core they were field application engineer and sales executive.
Infrastructure: For our batch, the coursework was not as relevant as it is now. After the application of NEP policy, it doesn't make much of a difference. The infrastructure is not that good. For hostel facilities, we have a mess and three blocks of boys' hostels, one of which is new and two are old. We continuously face issues such as water shortages, cleanliness problems, and unhygienic food.
Faculty: The course is relevant, but the faculty is lacking. The students are not industry ready, and the semester exams are not difficult because the questions come from the PPTs that the teachers provide.

Do not take admission in this college.
Placements: About 70% of students were placed, and the placement percentage depended on the branch of study. The lowest salary package was 6 LPA, the highest was 36 LPA, and the average was 15 LPA. Only 4 or 5 companies recruited for my course, and most students were placed in software-based companies like Texas Instruments. Technical roles were offered mostly for B.Tech courses, but sometimes management roles were available.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for the course/department, such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library, are very poor. The quality of the facilities in the hostel, the quality of the food available in the mess and canteen, the medical facilities, and the sports and games are all very poor.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, but most of them had poor knowledge of the subject matter. The syllabus was outdated, but the students were industry-ready due to their own hard work and persistence. The placement rate was good, but the papers for some subjects were very difficult and application-based. Only two or three subjects had faculty with PhD degrees; the others were not qualified. The pass percentage was 40%.

Experience of Life in VJTI .
Placements: Placement records are, in fact, one of the best for engineering colleges in Maharashtra. Top companies, both in IT and core branches, offer placement to students. The average package for our branch is around 15 LPA. Same for CS branches, which range up to 22 LPA.
Infrastructure: As far as the course is concerned, the infrastructure is an architectural gem built during the British period and still serves strong. The hostel is not that great in terms of the facilities and building infrastructure. Sports facilities are plentiful, with a football field, basketball court, cricket ground, kho-kho, and volleyball field present. Also, Gymkhana has the presence of TT tables and carrom boards.
Faculty: VJTI being autonomous college, our college has its own right to decide the syllabus, subjects paper pattern, etc. The papers are tougher than those being prepared by University. The new policy implemented by the government's NEP is more dynamic and realistic in nature.
Other: I scored 99.36 percentile, but still, I didn't get the CS/IT branch due to the high cut-off. But yet, I am satisfied with my branch, ExTC. The labs are good, the teachers are okay, the curriculum is good, and the papers are tough.

Best college for CS, IT, Mechanical, production branches.
Placements: Placement statistics for Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute are very good, especially for students in the CS and IT programs. About 90% of students are placed, with an average salary of 11.17 lakh per annum. The highest salary offered was 29 lakh per annum, and the lowest was 6 lakh per annum. Some of the companies that recruit from the institute are Texas Instrument, Siemens, and Schneider Electric. About 60% of students get internships, with some going on to work for the same companies that they interned for. Some of the internships are for technical sales associate and field application engineer positions.
Infrastructure: The ENTC program is part of the Electrical Department at VJTI. The classes are good, but not all have air conditioning. Wi-Fi is available in every classroom, but the labs don't have good internet connectivity. The hostels are not that great, but the cost of living is cheap, at around 20,000 to 45,000 rupees per year. Not all students get hostel accommodations; it is based on CET merit. The food quality is good, and the yearly tuition fee is 44,000 rupees.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are qualified, but not all. The teaching is not that good, and students have lots of doubts that are not cleared in a timely manner. The labs are not properly equipped. The course curriculum is very slow, and irrelevant courses are taught first. By the time the relevant courses are taught, there is no time left. No student is industry ready by the course curriculum, so they have to take online courses on the side. The papers are easy, but sometimes they are out of this world. You need a 34 to pass.
Other: I got this course on merit base. It is one of the best courses, but in VJTI it is not taught at that level. More practical-oriented topics should be taught, and teachers should be enthusiastic about teaching the course.

VJTI Mumbai has not released the MHT CET Cutoff data for 2023 yet. However, for the academic year 2023, a general category student must have an expected score range of 94.24 to 98.56 percentile for admission to Textile Technology. For more information, candidates can visit the official website.

Minimum 85 percentile in JEE . And if you have less than don't try for the VJTI college. If you are lucky enough you will get admitted at 75 percentile in last CAP Round or counselling round.
