Overall I can say CET is the best Engineering college in Kerala.
Placements: College of Engineering, Trivandrum, has the best placement list in Kerala. Each and every department has core company placements. Comparatively, the Computer Science department has higher package offers. The highest placement in the academic year 2023 is 15 LPA. The average package is around 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has high-standard laboratory facilities and also provides free Wi-Fi connections in every department. It also has good space for physical fitness activities, such as a gym, volleyball court, basketball court, and cricket ground. The college hostel also provides good food.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified; that is, they have Ph.D. degrees. The course curriculum is also relevant. Semester exams also have high-standard question papers. Teachers are very helpful in academics. The college has a high pass rate, which is around 97 percent.
Other: I choose Electrical engineer. Computer Science department have High placement offers.

This is the best college to get under the KEAM examination, and the college is good for its campus.
Placements: The placements here are pretty good. The average package is about 3 to 4 lakhs. The highest package was about 44 lakhs. Lots of companies come for placement, and the main companies are Texas Instruments, Royal Enfield, etc. We have strong support from our alumni association, so they help us to get placements.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are top class and they have a lot of experience in the teaching field. We have a central library and an individual library for each department. College Hostel is good. We have our own college ground for various sports, such as football, basketball, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are very good and they help us to study and support us for our projects, etc. Our syllabus is the KTU syllabus, which is pretty much a simple syllabus, if we study daily. I think our syllabus is a bit lagging, but scoring marks in exams is simple if we put effort.
Other: Talking about campus life and value for money, Our college tuition and other fees are very low, and campus life is great. We have our technical fest Dhrishti and cultural fest Dhwani and other fests which are conducted in a good way.

Good placements and environment, average teaching, goof infrastructure and innovative projects.
Placements: As of now around 50% of the students are placed out of which around 20% of students got internship opportunities at Bosch, Visteon, Tata elixi and Unacademy. The highest package was 12 LPA, the lowest was 3.3 LPA and the average offered was that of 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Schneider Electrical, ABB, Bosch, L&T.
Infrastructure: The facilities available for electrical department were Wi-Fi availabilities with connectivity issues, all testing and equipment laboratories with adequate machines and instruments. The college provides AC seminar halls, department library and a central library, a project room for final year students along with a special location of rooms for IET, IEEE organizations. The college has access to IEEE papers for research purposes. The classrooms are large enough to occupy 70 students but lack proper maintenance. The college’s girls hostels are clean and well maintained. The quality of the food available is poor in the mess and canteen. Only first aid medical facilities are made available on the campus and in the hostels. Amenities for women are available in our department. Students have access to college sports hub and gym inside the campus which are also provided with trainers.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful in providing adequate notes for preparation along with being highly qualified and having good technical knowledge. But the quality of teaching is not the same with everyone. Most of the teachers won't complete the entire syllabus due to lack of time. The curriculum is a bit bulky. It focuses more on theory than on practicals. The curriculum does not make the students industry ready. The exams are quite okay but the university evaluation is very poor with no proper evaluation camps or proper checking of the papers. The passing percentage is 35%.
Other: I wanted to study electrical engineering concepts more than any other branch. EE graduates can apply for EC and other electronics jobs apart from core electrical. Since a better skill development is required, and is not provided in the curriculum, it would be better if the college focused on that. The campus provides many opportunities to showcase hidden talents during Tech fest, cultural fest, Department fests, and competitions. Organizations like IEEE provide ample scholarships, paper presentations, workshops, travel grants, professional networking etc. Campus is eco friendly and neat. We have enough eating spots and an open gym apart from the main gym. Campus club gatherings and night programs are fun. All the students actively engaged in extracurricular activities, volunteering work and humanitarian activities to earn activity points.

First Engineering College in Kerala.
Placements: Almost 90% students get placed in different companies. Different recruiters like Amazon, Google, etc. come here and select talented pool of students. Placements up to 60 LPA are offered by various companies and. On an average, more than 5 LPA package is given to each student by recruiters.
Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure and Living Facility with good food. The best place to spend your 4 beautiful years. I will assure you that you won't regret if you decided to live in college hotel. You will get a bunch of friends who will do anything for you.
Faculty: Friendly and Hardworking enthusiastic teachers. They help students in every aspect. Guide us in proper way. Still there are some teachers who feel horrible. But overall teachers are very student friendly. Their knowledge about the subjects is their main quality They are the teachers in one of the best engineering college. So you can expect that quality and you will get that.

Our college is the best in Kerala with best faculty members.
Placements: Around 70% of students were placed with an average salary package of 6 LPA. The highest salary package was 25 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Wipro, Royal Enfield, TCS, Infosys, etc. Many students got internships from top companies. Top roles offered are software developer, electrical engineer, design engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: All the facilities and infrastructure provided are a library, Wi-Fi, labs, workshops, and classrooms. They are well maintained. Hostels are the main attraction for this college. Good quality with rich food is served in the mess. All activities including sports and games are available in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are good in academics, well knowledgeable, helpful, and qualified. The course curriculum is industrial relevant. Exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 40% which makes easier to pass. Teachers help us in academics and clear all our doubts.
Other: This course has vast opportunities throughout the world. It is more difficult. I wish to lower the difficulty of the course. College has lots of events like college fests, technical fests, arts, sports, etc. There are many extracurricular activities. Campus is so green and refreshing. There are a lot of scholarships. Campus is close to the city. Airport, railway station, and main bus stand are within a radius of 10 km.
