A real college review of Delhi College of Arts and Commerce.
Placements: There are not that many placements in my course, but some placements are very decent. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. I think 18% of students from my course have done internships in various private as well as government startups. In my course many roles are offered like the role of a negotiator, role of a magistrate, and role in executive branch, both in political and permanent criteria.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is quite average because it lacks in lacks in providing air-conditioned classrooms. But if we talk about library it is fully digitized and air-conditioned with all resource books available for all the courses offered by college. The quality got better recently otherwise in previous times it was very bad. The food here is eatable and tasty but there is an issue of hygiene. Our college also offers practice sessions for serious athletes who want to pursue career in sports.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very supportive except for some teachers. All faculty members are helpful and they teach their respective subjects very passionately which can be seen in the report cards of students. This course curriculum is not relevant and it doesn't make students industry-ready, but it does make a student ready to crack competitive exams. Semester exams are not that difficult. Students score well because we have to pass the criteria of 40% in every subject for example one paper is 160 marks then students need to score 64.
Other: I chose this course because I want to make a career in civil services so that it can give me certain knowledge about politics and policies. The things that should be improved are just that teachers should give more assignments to students for a crystal clear understanding of concepts. Events are very low in college because of small infrastructure. But, societies of the college make college life quite interesting.

This college is the best choice for arts and commerce.
Placements: I got admission with 86% in B.A. program in the first cutoff list under the SC category. If you're from the general category, then you'll have to score at least above 90% to get admission in the first list. 8-10 LPA is the highest package offered by companies. Content writing roles are offered.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are neat and clean, and the library has many books related to subjects or entertainment. The canteens have good and hygienic food. Sports and games are excellent. The campus has a huge ground for cricket, and a basketball court is available. Many other resources are available.
Faculty: If you're an arts student, then you'll definitely like the teaching quality in this college. The teachers are wiser and knowledgeable. Semester exams are not much difficult. You can easily pass the exams. The rating of this college for arts is pretty good. The teaching way of our teachers is very good.
Other: Due to covid, we're not able to explore many things in college, but I really loved the college. If you're from arts background, then this college is definitely a great choice for you. Events, fests, and camps history are pretty good. There are many scholarships for students.
