- Read moreCandidate must satisfy at least one of the following two criteria with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in the year of first appearance in the Class XII (or equivalent examination), i.e. in either 2023 or 2024: Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination with a minimum of five subjects and with the mentioned marks in aggregate (65% for PwD candidates) from a recognized board. OR Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination with minimum of five subjects and be within the category-wise (category as per the central list) top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class XII (or equivalent) board examination. Other mandatory Criteria: Candidate who had appeared in Class 12th or equivalent examination for the first time in 2022 or earlier, are NOT eligible to appear irrespective of the combination or number of subjects attempted/offered. However, if the exam Board of Class 12th or equivalent declared the results for the academic year 2021-22 on or after September 21, 2022, then the candidates of that Board who appeared for their Class 12th or equivalent exam in 2022 are also eligible appear in JEE (Advanced) 2024, provided they meet all the other eligibility criteria. In case the exam Board of class 12th or equivalent declared the results for the academic year 2021-22 before September 21, 2022 but the result of a particular candidate was withheld, then the candidate will not be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2024. NOTE: List of Qualifying Examinations (QE): - The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by a Central or State Board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). - Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a Board or University recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. - Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy. - Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects. - Any Public School, Board or University examination in India or in a foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the AIU. - H.S.C. vocational examination. - In case the Class XII examination is not a public examination, the candidate must have passed at least one public (Board or Pre-University) examination earlier.

The candidates who were allocated a seat in an IIT through JoSAA 2023 but (i) did not report “online” / at any “reporting centre” OR, (ii) withdrew before the last round of seat allotment, OR, (iii) had their seat cancelled (for whatever reason) before the last round of seat allotment for IITs, are eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2024.

Best in all facilities and teachers are very helpful. Its location is near to the industry.
Placements: The placement is 150% in CS branch and good in other branches too. In my branch, 80% placement is provided. And, the highest package in my batch was 23 Lacs, the average package is 6 to 7 Lacs. All types of companies including PSUs visit the campus and most companies offered management trainee post. There is a placement cell. The internships were less of my time, but now, it increased exponentially. And, the placement cell's working is average. But, some students are very much dedicated to the batch's placement.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available except Wi-Fi on the campus. The courts are available for all types of games. Classroom and labs are good. Food quality is also good in the canteen. Hostel rooms are average. Very good according to the hostel. Sapphire is the best hostel. As per the infrastructure, some facilities were missing, but at the time of the end of my degree, all facilities are made available, but their use started after my degree completion.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, and of course, knowledgeable. The teaching quality is best. All most all types of methods are used, but the maximum of the teachers prefer blackboard and chalk method. And, some teachers prefer projector method. We had sufficient faculty in my department. We got industry exposure in each semester, and after 2nd and 3rd year, we had the training of 45 days. The course curriculum was up to mark and very useful.
Other: We have many fests in the college, but out of all, two were most important, Concerto is a tech-fest, and Srijan is a cultural fest which was very much popular in East part of the country. The campus is only 3 km from the railway station. The campus is surrounded by slum areas, but now, approximately, the campus is fully closed. There are many scholarships for the students. Many students won the inter IIT medal in athletics and other games also. We have many student groups like drama club, AISEC, and a student running NGO like Kartavya (started by ISMite in 1999). The best 4 years of my life I spent there.

Everything is perfect on the campus. The environment is good to study and for making future better.
Placements: Almost, 80% of my batchmates got placed in 2015. The PSUs recruitment is the Coal India Limited, which hired 46 students with 8.60 lac per annum package. Vedanta Resources offered 6.7 lac per annum as a package for the students. Tata Steel and also Reliance Pvt Limited visited the campus. The highest package was 92 LPA, which was given by Facebook for the computer science student.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is too good. There are 12 hotels, which are separate for every year students. There is a separate mess for every hostel, and the quality of food is excellent. There is the biggest digitalised library in India. There is a health centre, swimming pool, and student activity centre on the campus. The gym is available in every hostel. The classrooms are highly digitalised.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified. Every professor possesses the minimum qualification of PhD in their relevant subject, and they also associated with the several PSUs as a chairman or member. The college provides every kind of stream of earth science and also the major streams. The college also provides the MBA course.
Other: Basant and Srijan are the fests that are held on the campus. Many more activities are held every month like a seminar, etc.

ISM to IIT from shovel to the motherboard all are fine in every field.
Placements: The placement statistics for CSE are good, and the other than CSE, the petroleum and mining offers a decent package. The mechanical is a worth taking branch. Many of the PSUs are visiting this college offering the good job opportunities. While the electronics and electrical branches are still trying to get into the list.
Infrastructure: At the moment, ISM infrastructure is developing at the lightning speed. Asia's the biggest library, new hostels like rosaline girls hostel and a new under construction boys hostel are going to be a centre of attraction on the campus. While NAC is already taking away all the limelight.
Faculty: The faculty members of earth science branch are good, and after all, it is the best mining college in Asia. ISM has contributed a lot to the country's mining industry and petroleum industry. CSE faculty members are good, but the earth science branches are the top in Asia.

The best college for geo-mining branches in Asia
Placements: Wonderful placements in the mining branch. All students of dual degree are placed in the core companies. Students of B.Tech in mining are placed up to 80% in the core companies and rest are placed in consultancy companies but overall, the placement is 100% always with the average CTC of 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Interactive classrooms with a projector and modern technologies. Highly specialized labs in case of all branches. In mining departments, there are some pieces of equipment which are available only in IIT(ISM). Asia's largest is going to open very this year by PM Modi. All kinds of sports and their separate complexes are in the college.
Faculty: The faculty team is always helpful and is highly qualified in case of mining. Some faculty members are so famous that their name is known to all mine managers in India. There is also a law in mining engineering towards the name of one of our respected faculty members. It is one of the best college toward the earth science college in India.

It is one of the top colleges in the list of best.
Placements: Placements from this stream were very good for our batch. About 80% of students got selected for government jobs and research. The highest salary package offered by an Australian mining company was 2 crores per year. The average salary package offered ranges from 20-30 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 9 LPA. Some students were directly offered a job while some were also chosen for research and experiment.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this institute is of world-class. Wi-Fi facility is everywhere inside the campus. There is a library, and it has about 50,000 books. A hospital with a modern facility is available in it with specialized doctors. There is a number of scopes to get selected in sports, and the facilities and environment for sport are excellent. Since it is a central government-funded school, so there is no problem regarding the labs and classrooms. The food served in the canteen is of good quality and is at a normal rate.
Faculty: Senior faculty are much more helpful and supports and motivates students. Students here are of national level and have much knowledge since they are selected through one of the toughest exams of the country, and hence they are much intelligent and helpful to others. The ratio of student to faculty is good as one faculty is available per 15-25 students.
Other: The best thing I liked about this college is the location of this institute. It is located in the heart of the city where we can fulfil our every need. The people of that city respect the student of this college as the best and are always have been helpful to us.

To get admission in B.Tech, the minimum eligibility is 60 %. You need to clear JEE Mains and Advanced to get admission in IIT.
