Our college has good infrastructure.
Placements: Our college assures 100% placements, with all students securing positions in top companies. About 5% of students pursue higher studies. In our college, almost 90% of students are placed. The salary package offered is 27 LPA to 30 LPA and the average salary package offered is 14 LPA to 24 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Ajio, Uber, Flipkart, etc., visit our campus. Top roles offered are embedded systems engineer and automation engineer.
Infrastructure: The lecture theatre is well-equipped. Classrooms and libraries are good. Books, textbooks, journals, and newspapers are available in the library. The library is accessible from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. The college also offers discussion halls, reading areas, Wi-Fi, and computer services for research. A garden is available at the hostel.
Faculty: Our teachers are experts in their respective fields. Many teachers are skilled in their teaching methods, and self-study is given importance. It's required to maintain around 75% attendance. The curriculum is structured to equip us for roles in the industry. Semester exams are difficult. A CGPA of 8.5 is required to pass. Our college follows a grading-based evaluation system.
Other: I chose this course because I liked mathematics, especially calculus, and because of my interest in physics, basically electrodynamics. It covers power systems, electronics, control systems, communication, and signal processing. Our top college offers a lot of different classes and activities. You can take humanities courses and choose electives that interest you. Our college conducts many fests such as Kashi Yatra, which is a cultural fest, Spardha, which is a sports fest, and Tech Nex, which is a test fest. The campus has lush greenery. The campus is well-connected by transportation. It's close to the heart of Varanasi and Banaras Hindu University.

Our college is ranked 2nd in the tech field among all other IITs.
Placements: Our college provides very impressive placements. Almost 100% of students got placed in our branch. The highest salary package offered is 1.2 CPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 15 LPA and 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 9 LPA. The average salary package offered for our branch is 26.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Gravitation, Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, Google, etc. All companies visited IIT Delhi and IIT BHU. Around 70-80% of students got on-campus internships. There may be more off-campus placements. Top roles offered are SDE, data analyst, and developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average as we know it is a 100-year-old building. The infrastructure of the new hostels is very good. Our college provides all other facilities like LAN, Wi-Fi, labs, a library, etc. All facilities are above average. The quality of IIT BHU is the best among all IITs. Medical facilities are the best in IIT BHU as there is IMs hospital inside the campus which does all operations and tests of students without any cost, which is quite impressive.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful and supportive. The course does not make students industry-ready, but it will give you ideas about the basic of the required things. You have to put in extra effort because of the nature of the competitiveness of placements. The semester load is the least at IIT BHU, but the output is the same, so it is the best college.

IIT BHU provides good placements.
Placements: More than 98% of students are placed, of which more than 85% are in the non-coding sector. The highest salary package offered was around 66 LPA, the lowest was around 14 LPA, and the average was 26 LPA. Top recruiters include Microsoft, Amazon, Gravitron, BNY Mellon, etc. Top roles offered are SDE, HFT, quantum computing, and data analysis. Almost all students got internships.
Infrastructure: Each room in the hostel is allotted to 3 students. Mess workers are very good and helpful. There is Wi-Fi. There are big lecture halls that are very airy and spacious. The library is air-conditioned and massive. There is a student health care center, and all students are provided with free treatment. Sports facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is up-to-date. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are a little tough but become easy with the help of seniors, friends, and teachers. The pass percentage is around 95%.
Other: IIT BHU has one of the biggest campuses and the best mess food. This college gives the best campus life and exposure. In the first year, the course curriculum is the same for all branches and then becomes branch-specific in the second year. Events and fests are also very good. The annual cultural festival is Kashyatra. The college offers many scholarships for financially weak and meritorious students. Extracurriculars and sports are also good. One of the best colleges to be in.
Placements: 100 percent placement was there from my branch. The highest package was around 40 Lacs, the lowest was around 7-8 Lacs while the average package was 20 Lacs. The recruiting companies are Microsoft, Paytm, samsung. Accenture, Oracle, etc. SDE was the Role offered.
Infrastructure: The class infrastructure is a bit old but labs are well-equipped and the hostels are quite nice too. The food quality is one of the best among IITs. The medical, sports and games opportunities are top notch as you can expect form an IIT and we get medical treatment for free too.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very apt for the industries as it focuses on making students industry ready. The semester exams are not that much tough as the pass percentage is around 90-95 percent. So if you study it won't be very hard to pass the exams.
Other: I had interest in electrical engineering from start that's why I chose it. I wish the campus was closed like other IITs like an open campus is good but closed campus is always better. The events and fest are awesome here so no complains about them.

My review for IIT Varanasi ( B.Tech in electrical Engineering.)
Placements: Since I am from IIT, placements and internship opportunities are excellent here. Even Google comes for internships and placement as well. Looking at the number of companies visiting my campus and the opportunities here, my overall experience is good. I got an internship in Samsung, Delhi for 2 months and they will be paying 70 thousands for 2 months. Moreover, they will cover my accommodation for the span of 2 months staying there for an internship next year.
Infrastructure: My college has 3 big playgrounds. We have badminton courts, table tennis courts, volleyball courts and basketball courts as well. We also have hockey and cricket grounds here. We have coaches for every sport. So, sports facilities are excellent. Labs are also good here. There are sufficient apparatus in order to conduct experiments. Overall, everything is perfect.
Faculty: Course curriculum is difficult and covers most of the trending and useful technologies happening in the present world. More emphasis is on extensive research. Students basically choose Competitive Programming and do projects in fields like machine learning.
Other: Everything is good here. One negative remark is that good packages and the majority of companies visiting here for placement are related to software and finance but for my Electrical Engineering branch or other branches like Civil, mechanical and metallurgy, there are no such subjects that will teach us about finance and software sectors. So, we do coding by ourselves. Also, there are clubs which help us all to learn these things apart from traditional learning.

Hello Sooraj, The admission in IIT is through entrance exam called JEE Advanced. But only those who score certain marks in JEE Mains are allowed to register for JEE Advanced. Also JEE Mains exam is already over. So now you can think of applying only next year.
