We have many internship opportunities in our college.

We have satvik mess too for students who don't eat garlic and onion. We have 3 canteens in our hostel. We have free medical facilities in our campus hospital.
Faculty: Faculty members in our institute are well qualified and they teach very well. We also have tutorial classes to ask our doubts and solve the questions. They are always helpful. They make the student industry ready. Exams are a little bit difficult but everyone passes in them with a good CGPA. Pass percentage is 35%.
Other: Campus is very beautiful. Many events occur every year like kashiyatra, fmc weekend, spardha, etc. Scholarship is also available for the students whose financial condition is not so good. Students with income <5LPA have to pay 33% of the tuition fee and students with income <1LPA get full tuition fee remission.

Review of IIT Varanasi - Indian Institute of Technology.
Placements: According to the placement statistics for the year 2021, the students in the metallurgy department have done exceptionally well. The percentage of the placed students is not only 100% but also placed in the top companies across the world. Clearly saying that not more than 10% of the students in the metallurgy department prepare for their core field jobs. Almost everybody wants a career in the tech sector, including various job profiles like software developer, data analyst, consultant, quant researcher, etc. The foremost reason is that our institute has a rich coding culture and unique peer groups competing positively for their overall development. The top companies that hire in non-core fields are Google, Amazon, Uber, JPMC, Morgan Stanley, Salesforce, P&G, and much more and those hiring in core fields are Tata steels, Jamshedpur, and two or three more. Actually, in core fields, students prefer to study more as they go for higher degrees like MS, Ph.D., etc. Internships are not very easy to get. The latter have to gather a lot of significant skills to get hired in internships but there is no doubt about getting placements. Everyone will surely get placed whether in core or non-core fields if the latter will have enough skills. The maximum package offered will be around 28 to 35 LPA in non-core and the minimum would be around 10 to 12 LPA in the core.
Infrastructure: The hostel provided in the first year is DhanrajGiri 2, the newly built 7-story hostel has all facilities like almirahs, study desks, lifts, etc. The food quality is average but the canteen is amazing having everything you want. There is also medical insurance for every single student providing all medical facilities from pills to an MRI scan, it's all free. For sports and games, there is a newly built SAC -student activity center having games like squash, table tennis, boxing, taekwondo, badminton, lawn tennis, volleyball, etc. Note that every sport has its court and is olympic-sized. There is also a gym which includes every modern machinery.
Faculty: The professors are well qualified and experienced from 20 to 30 years. There is not a single professor who did not have done a Ph.D. in their respective fields. They know every minute detail of using modern types of equipment and laboratory. But the approach of teaching is not up to the mark causing a little difficulty in understanding the subject. The course is relevant as this is the major source of development in the world as it includes researching new materials which can work more efficiently. You will get hired but, generally, students do higher studies for gaining more knowledge regarding their interests.
Other: There are clubs like DFZ for dancing, IMC for singing, entrepreneurship cell, business club, literary club, etc. The fests like spardha and kashiyatra are also organised on a large scale where teams came from different institutions across India to participate in the competitions.

Absolutely satisfied with the college, and I had an excellent college life.
Placements: Last year, the placement rate for my branch was 100%. I think the highest package was 60 LPA. I don't have much idea about companies. About internships, all students who were serious have got internships. This is not just about the course, you can learn anything you want.
Infrastructure: All the rooms are well-equipped with high-speed internet facilities provided in every room through LAN wires. It gives a speed of almost 1 GBPS. Wi-Fi is available in some places. The food facilities are the best at IIT BHU.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful, and they give their 100% effort to provide quality education. You can ask as many times as you want, and they are very supportive. The course makes students industry-ready. They are quite good.
