Q:   I got 14513 rank in TS EAMCET (obc). Can I get seat in JNTUH.

A:
Based on the previous year's cutoff, a rank of 14513 in TS EAMCET under the OBC category may not be sufficient to get a seat in the B.Tech programs at JNTUH. However, the cutoff varies every year, and it is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. The cutoff for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH through TS EAMCET varies every year and depends on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, the availability of seats, and the category of the candidate. It is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. However, based on the previous year's cutoff, the minimum TS EAMCET rank required for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH was around 20,000 to 25,000 for the general category, and for the OBC category, the cutoff was around 30,000 to 35,000. Please note that the cutoff varies every year, and it is advisable to check the official website of JNTUH or the TS EAMCET counselling website for the latest cutoff ranks. Also, meeting the cutoff rank does not guarantee admission to the programme as the final seat allotment depends on the availability of seats, the candidate's preference, and other factors.

Great placements, modern facilities, and industry-focused curriculum, but needs practical exposure.
Placements: Approximately 87% of students are placed in recent placement drives. For undergraduate courses, 1100 out of 1220 students secured placements, while for postgraduate courses, 600 out of 720 students were placed. The highest salary package offered is 44 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: JNTUH offers modern classrooms, Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, and vast library. Hostels provide clean rooms, good mess food, and basic amenities. Medical care and diverse sports facilities, including grounds for cricket and basketball, enhance student life.
Faculty: JNTUH faculty are experienced, helpful, and focus on practical learning. Corse curriculum is industry-aligned and updated with modern trends. Semester exams are moderately tough but manageable. Pass rate is typically 80% or higher with consistent effort.
Other: I chose this course for its strong industry relevance and focus on technical skills. The best aspects include the updated curriculum and faculty expertise. Improvements could involve more hands-on training. Fests like Technozion, diverse extracurricular activities, scholarships, great connectivity, and lively campus crowd enhance the experience.

I'm satisfied with this college. It makes my college life fun and also makes studying enjoyable.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is nearly 70 to 80%. The highest package is 52 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package fluctuates between 6 to 8 LPA. There are many companies coming to our college for interviews. The companies that attended were Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, and many more. Recently, Google internship was given to our college 1st-year students. They completed the course too. They'll get the certificate, which helps to build the resume.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There are large classrooms, an auditorium, and labs with good equipment for performing experiments. Although college Wi-Fi is not available, the signal in the college for calls is good. There are two libraries in our college, and both have a good amount of books required for our classes and to gain some extra knowledge.
Faculty: The faculty are a lot helpful. They encourage us and are also friendly. As we are first-year students, they helped us a lot to adapt to college life. They are also cheerful and encourage us to not only study but also to participate in events. They are nothing less than friends.
Other: I always wanted to go to the software side, so I chose Computer Science. As the teachers are graduates from IITs, their guidance is much helpful. As for the events, there are many, like freshers, farewell, and also festivals are celebrated. They conduct competitions on dance and singing too. It's too much fun.

Average college and CBIT is a better college than JNTUH.
Placements: About 50 percent of people get placed here, and the average package is around INR 4.8 lakh. About 65 percent of people will get internships. I recommend you join this college if you are not getting into any top private autonomous colleges. There will be bulk recruitment from companies like TCS.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the buildings is too old, and the washrooms are dirty all the time. There are labs available, but no projectors in the classrooms. Sports and games facilities are not that good, but you can carry your own equipment and play on the ground at any time. Canteen food is not that special; only fast food and some bakery items are available there.
Faculty: Teachers are very good here. Exams are a bit tough for an average student. There will only be a few copies of text books available in the library, so be quick to take books during examinations. Internal marks are given strictly; don't expect more than 30 marks in internals out of 40. In the semifinals, the pass percentage will be around 70%.
Other: Don't expect any type of fests.

I am very much satisfied with our course.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students get placed every year. Recently one of our seniors got the highest salary package of 41 LPA at Microsoft. Most of our seniors got salary packages of around 10 LPA, 8 LPA, and 12 LPA. The average salary package is around 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Microsoft, Google, Oracle, and TCS are some top recruiting companies for our course. Many students got internships which are around 70-80% in freelancing, Goldman Sachs, and Wipro. Roles offered are software development, web development, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Our campus has a very good and pleasant environment covered with trees which is peaceful everywhere. Classrooms are neat and clean and contain projectors for better understanding. There are two libraries with a vast variety of books, references, documentaries, and research books that help students to understand and acquire knowledge at higher levels. Free Wi-Fi is provided with good speed. Labs are very useful with new and updated equipment for a practical approach.
Faculty: Teachers in our course are very helpful, highly qualified, and skilled. They have experience of 15 to 20 years. They have very good knowledge of the subject. Teaching quality is maintained at a high level. The course curriculum is being updated every year according to the needs of industry and new technology. Students can work in the industries through their course experience. There is no difficulty to pass semester exams by studying a bit every day. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in coding and eager to know about developing application software and system software. The best thing about our course is we will come across some real-world problems in daily life that can be solved easily and efficiently. This course should have direct industrial interaction with students. Our campus conducts various events such as freshers day, fest, farewell, and many more are coordinated by student groups. Our campus provides connections with passed-out students. The merit-based scholarship is provided on our campus.

It is a good college without any pressure on the students and with all the facilities nearby.
Placements: We are the students of the batch 2020-25 of the Integrated dual degree programme (B.Tech+M.Tech). We have placement recruitment from 3rd year onwards. Recently a couple of students from our batch were given internship for 2 months with INR 2 LPA package and a job opportunity of INR 30 LPA after the internship in Goldmine sacs company was offered. The highest package we received so far is INR 90 LPA in Google, nearly 90% of students get placement in their final year of the course in companies like Google, Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, Oracle etc. as executives, managers, team workers, developers, and so on.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was very good and each department has a separate building. The college is located in the center of the city with all the facilities available nearby. Each department has its own library and has one college library and one central library with all books available. Wi-Fi connection is good in the college. Coming to the hostel, we have separate hostels for 1st years, 2nd year, 3rd year, and 4th-year students. The quality of the food in the hostel is really good. The Wi-Fi connections sometimes fluctuate in Manjeera Boys Hostel.
Faculty: Coming to the teaching. The teachers are well qualified and all of the teachers are mostly friendly with the students and guide every student to be ready for the industry, only if the students showed interest in the course. College management makes several changes in the curriculum as needed. The semester exams are difficult and corrections are also very strict.
Other: I was in the course of Integrated dual degree programme (B.Tech +M.Tech)-5 years programme in which we complete the both the couse in 5 years instead of 6 years. Coming to the course, it is good for students who are very enthusiastic in going deep into the field of their study. Students take the opportunities for conducting all the cultural events and fests every year. The campus is in the middle of the city with all the facilities available and vast with pleasant environment .
