A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. MSIT is a good choice and the faculty is good.
Placements: Mostly students focus on off-campus as it is a tier-3 college, but not all; approximately 50-60% of students are placed in ECE, but in CSE the percentage is higher. The highest package last year was 80 LPA (off-campus), and the lowest is 2.5-3 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, Veersa Technology, and Infosys; these are mass recruiters. Also, Amazon and Microsoft come. The internship percentage goes more to the lower side; you have to give effort on your own to take an internship. in these companies that visit mostly provide software development roles.
Infrastructure: About infrastructure, college is on the lower side, not too good, but college is in a good location surrounded by greenery, big ground, lanes, etc. Classes are well-equipped with benches, blackboards, and projectors. Not all classes contain AC, but the lab in MSIT is well-maintained and contains AC and instruments. The hostels provide all necessary things to live there.
Faculty: The best thing you like in MSIT is faculty members. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. Teachers are from NITs, qualified GATE, especially in the ECE subject, which is not relevant for job readiness in the teaching community. These are old courses running till now. It happens nearly in all colleges in tier 2-3 colleges. Exams are easy; you study accordingly.
Other: Fest in this college is not good; here you can make better connections. MSIT has a strong alumni network at better positions working in all big tech companies. Infrastructure should be improved.

The institute foster academic excellence and skill .
Placements: Students are placed in the college is around 70%+. The highest package is 42 Lacs, the lowest is around 4.5 Lacs, and the average package is around 7-9 Lacs. The internship environment is good in our college. Most companies offered software engineer post. Also post in consultation firms are offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities at my college are good and satisfactory. The campus is only eight acres, and the sports facilities are less. The hostels are also safe but need improvement. However, the MBA and LAW blocks have excellent infrastructure, and the B.Teach building has labs on each floor. Proper classroom with projector are there. Cleanliness is top priority.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are aware of recent times and prefer modern learning methods. They understand the demand and current situation of jobs in the market. They guide students from time to time and provide all the important upskills hackthons and course details organised by our college. The course curriculum is relevant and suited for industry demand. The exam level is moderate and the pass percentage is 40.
Other: This course offer financial stability in the future after spending 4 years with up skilling you can enjoy after that with sufficient salary. More labs the latest should be present. Fests are good connectivity is also nice. Scholarship also provided to ews category students and other category students by ipu and government.

Absolutely dissatisfied with college infrastructure, facilities, placements, poor college life.
Placements: The placement rate has been going down year after year, and the average package has fallen in recent years. Most of the high-paying placements are off-campus placements. No company comes to the college for internships.
Infrastructure: Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology has one of the poorest infrastructures in the GGSIPU. There is no Wi-Fi on campus, and some classrooms don't even have fans, let alone air conditioning. There are no sports facilities, and the one canteen is in drastic condition with poor food quality.
Faculty: The faculty at Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology is highly qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful, with a few exceptions. The teachers are good in general, and their teaching quality is commendable. However, the course curriculum is not up to the mark. It is highly theoretical and impractical, and does not prepare students for the industry.
Other: I ended up at Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology because my JEE rank was too low to get into a better college. If you have a decent rank, there's no point in attending this college.

Short experience of 1.5 year in Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology.
Placements: 80%+ students are placed for packages above 5 LPA. The highest package this year was 42 LPA as per October 2024. Various recruiters came for placements. All students above 7.5 CGPA are allowed to sit for placements. Proper guidance as well as hackathons are organized for the sake of the learning of students. Flipkart and Accenture are the top recruiters. 20-30% get good internships. Web developer, DE 1, etc. are the top roles.
Infrastructure: Decent facilities, good for students, and a safe and homelike environment. Labs are well equipped and professors are a lot more knowledgeable than expected. Discipline is the main focus. Sports and games need a few improvements. Crowd and staff are a good bit cooperative and understand the students. Overall, it is a good place.
Faculty: Helpful teachers. Focuses on learning concepts and understanding. Relevant course curriculum. Professors are very cooperative, always ready to share knowledge. Explain concepts by giving proper time . Also give extra lectures if necessary to required students. Gives you multiple opportunities to show your knowledge other than semester exams. Semester exams are medium-difficult for students, but with a good preparation, scoring 90%+ is possible.
Other: Scholarships are provided by the Delhi government and the IPU EWS scholarship as well as for different categories of students.

The whole campus is good, but the canteen facilities are not good.
Placements: Currently, I am in my third year, so I don't know about the placements, but as I heard from my seniors, the placement ratio is very low. Yesterday, our teachers also shared that this year, from the ECE evening shift, only one student is placed, which is very low.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but sometimes the AC doesn't work, and on the second floor in summer, it's very hot. We can't even take classes continuously; it's very hectic, and it may be the same on other floors. There is no Wi-Fi on the whole campus, only in the library. The network is also not good; it is very difficult to call or message someone, and this is an ongoing issue.
Faculty: All the teachers are excellent. I personally like the way they teach; they share all their knowledge. All the courses are relevant and make us industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult; I would say the level is medium. Most of the questions are taught by our teachers, but the students do not prepare, which leads to failing in the mid-semester exams and getting low marks.
