Absolutely dissatisfied with the placements and faculty is great and inspiring.
Placements: The placements at the college campus are not good at all. Absolutely no one in my course was placed. Campus placement grounds were not conducted for my course. You'll gain a lot of knowledge here but when it comes to placements, you'll have to work hard yourself to find a job. Students usually go for higher studies instead of jobs.
Infrastructure: The college has 2 blocks—an old block and a new block. Since the college was established in the 1960's, the old block needs maintenance. Washrooms are not in good condition and fans don't work properly sometimes. The new block, on the other hand, is newly constructed and has all the facilities. The hostel is also newly constructed, has all facilities and is safe too. The canteen is there, which offers food at low prices and it tastes fine. The medical room is there for cases of medical emergencies. Sports meets are also conducted frequently. Cultural and technical festivals are also conducted. Clubs are societies that are also very active.
Faculty: The faculty is really great. Every teacher is well read and has a great grip on their particular subjects. They pay a lot of attention to the students. The course curriculum is designed in a way so as to nurture the minds of future zoologists. The university exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 33% in every exam.
Other: You should go for this course if you wish to be a scientist. It gives in-depth knowledge of the field of Zoology. One thing that could be better is that there should be more skill-based learning rather than just mugging up information. Scholarships are available for economically weak students. The campus crowd is extremely good and all types of people are there. Fests and seminars are regularly conducted on campus.

The college is good, but placements depend on the course.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Sc. Zoology hons., and there are very few placements for Zoology students in our college. I don't know much about it as I am not an active member of the placement society. Mostly, students from B.Com (Hons). and B.Sc physical sciences get good placements.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi, but its password is protected, and nobody knows the password. We still don't know whom to ask. Labs are good enough but only for less number of students, 30 at maximum. Classrooms are good but not in summer. The new science block is good.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, knowledgeable and strict. They provide notes and writeups. The strict schedule will make students future-ready. Semester exams are really easy if you have attended the lectures and done PYQs. No one can fail in our course.
Other: I was really into practicals and research related to Zoology, so I went for the hons. course. The best thing about this course is it has many practicals which give us real knowledge other than bookish knowledge. Betterment is needed in the means of teaching as teachers use projectors to teach, but there is no screen, so they display it anywhere, which is not perfectly visible and cause irritation. The rest of the things are good, be it fests or extracurricular activities if you can manage to participate. Scholarships are available for many things, but the one I know is for students from middle-class families, where parents earn less than 8 Lacs per annum. They will get all the fees in return after submitting the necessary documents.

Review of Maitreyi College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Roles like professor or research are offered. Even lab staff jobs are available. Even after B.Sc., we can get jobs in fields like microbiology or biotechnology. Around 60% of students got internships from our course. A huge number of students got placed in our course.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is great. The hostel will be inaugurated shortly. The hostel has a capacity of 90 students. In our course, there are 3 Zoology labs and also many classrooms. There is a huge library with a huge collection of books. The college has its own Wi-Fi.
Faculty: The faculty are really good and well qualified. We got well-equipped labs for practical classes. There are well-ventilated classrooms. Continuous evaluation is done on a regular basis, which makes us clear our concepts. There are mentors for every student.

Our college is a quite campus that focus on academics.
Placements: There is a placement cell but no company comes to recruit students. On-campus placement drive was organised and since companies were not relevant to the course so no one applied. No one from our batch was placed anywhere.
Infrastructure: Construction was going on so 1/4th of the campus was not available to use. But now the campus is very beautiful with lots of greenery and places to study. Canteen is average and affordable. No hostel facility and Wi-Fi. Chairs in labs are like tables without support.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, knowledgeable, and always push students to achieve more. The course curriculum is relevant. The strength of the course is a major factor which decides which optional subjects you can choose. Semester exams are of the same standard as any other Delhi University College.
Other: This course was my backup plan. I wish there were more internship opportunities. The faculty has a small society that organises events and contests every week during fests. College is very cut off from the main south campus. There is no disturbance due to strikes and elections.

It is a beautiful and mesmerising campus with well-qualified faculty members.
Placements: Students pursuing Zoology do not really seek placements, as most of them are interested in Higher Education, and the others pursue the course to take UPSC Exam. However, biotech companies visit the campus to hire interested students. Depending on the company, the role offered could be either unpaid or have a stipend. Most placements are in arts and commerce departments.
Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped and have sophisticated instruments perfect for the course. Classrooms provided to our department are huge and spacious. It also has projectors and other stuff. The library houses an enormous collection of books sufficient for the course. It also has a Zoology Museum and a book bank to satiate one's interest. The canteen provides good and affordable food, and the people there are also good. We have NSS, medical, and Sports facilities. A counselor and an in-campus nurse and doctor are available. The only downside is the non-availability of the hostel. It is still in construction and expected to complete soon.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are kind and supportive. Each one of them has good command over their subjects, and they understand the students' needs and constraints. They will do their best to help you out. The course curriculum is mandated by DU. About 98% of students easily pass the semester exams and score good marks. Staff members are also very helpful. They will help you out when you get into trouble.
Other: Being a girls' college, Maitreyi is known for its crowd. The people are supportive, and there is no one to judge you. You could literally experience 3 years of bliss. We become more confident and self-reliant. There is no gender bias. Evey position of responsibility is filled in by a girl, so there is a lot to learn and experience. Further, the location of the college makes it unique. We have a spotless, green campus, especially known for its gardens. Winters on campus are known for photoshoots among students.
