There are 7 subjects in the IIT JAM 2024 examination:

NIT Meghalaya MSc admission is based on CCMN scores, followed by CCMN Counselling process. The cutoff trend for B.Tech at NIT Meghalaya has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 18501. In 2023, it increased to 19175. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from
24759 to 6137 for OBC 68411 to 3133 for SC 640 to 1025 for ST 2843 to 3077 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. 1. Tuition Fee: This fee covers the cost of academic instruction, faculty salaries, and other academic faciltiy it is around 62000 per semester.

2. Semester Fee: This fee covers expenses related to registration, examinations, library facilities, and other student support services.

3. Hostel Fee: If you opt to stay in a hostel, there may be a separate fee for accommodation and related facilities such as mess charges 24000 per semester.

4. Other Miscellaneous Charges: This can include charges for sports facilities, medical facilities, transportation, and other amenities provided by the institute.

The total fees will come around 1 Lacs per semester, one can visit the nitm site for that even as per the family income you can get full fee remittence so it would nearly cost you 50 k per sem (fee+hostel).

Yes, NIT Meghalaya offers M.Tech programs in various specializations. The following M.Tech specialisations are currently offered at NIT Meghalaya:

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 16663 and closing rank was 19175 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 25776 and 34378. The total tuiton fee for the M.Tech programme at NIT Meghalaya is INR 69,500- INR 3.8 lakh, The fee structure mentioned doesn’t include hostel fee. Further, the fee structure is for general category. Total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for the academic year, hence is indicative. 

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement.
