Netaji Subhas University of Technology campus guide for freshers.
Placements: Due to the economic slowdown, the percentage of students placed has dropped to 42%. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA approximately. Almost every company visiting DTU, IIITD, or IITD also visits NSUT campus. More tech companies visit the campus compared to non-tech companies, and core companies visiting the campus are few.
Infrastructure: In the main campus, apart from academic blocks, there is a gym, football ground, running track, cricket ground, two basketball courts, and two volleyball courts. There is also one library and one computer center. Labs are in decent condition and are maintained well. Wi-Fi connectivity is available all over campus.
Faculty: All faculty members have done their PhDs from top IITs in India. They are knowledgeable in their respective domains. They are available in their rooms for students. If someone wants to discuss a topic taught in class or research any topic they are interested in, they are helpful in that area. However, they are very strict about the attendance rule, and it is better not to argue with them over this.

Best life experience of college.
Placements: 60-70% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 30 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA and the average is 12-14 LPA. The top companies are Amazon and Dell. 70% of students get an internship. Head engineers and tech masters are a few of the top roles that are provided.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course are so far decent. Availability of equipment is somehow less but still, labs are great. Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus. The library’s decorum is nice to study. The canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games are also present. However, the medical store is not present on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching experience is very well. The knowledge that is provided in the course is relevant. Being a fresher, I can't properly tell that it will make a student industry-ready because I am still learning. If a person will not work, then the subjects can be tough otherwise they can manage. 40% and above is the passing percentage.
Other: I am fascinated by technology that's why I chose this course for myself. In my course, a person gets work experience and learning opportunities. Lab equipment availability can be improved. Fest, events, campus crowd connectivity, and so on everything is amazing about this college. Placement opportunities are available. Extracurricular activities are also there.

Just Facts on college life.
Placements: Average package is around 17 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, google, Microsoft. Practical knowledge is very good in this college as I am electrical student. Total 90 students in my batch and there are 2 batches. But package depends on your branch .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure facilities are good Wi-Fi, labs, computers, library everything is good. Sports and games and gym facilities are there too. I don't know much about hostel but I have heard about mess food which is not so good but room facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very good as they take tutorial classes as well of 2 hrs in a week of each subject which is very helpful. Exams difficult level is not much. You have to score 41 marks to pass the subject .

College review of Netaji Subhas University of Technology (main campus).
Placements: NSUT provides good placements to the students every year. In 2023, 853 UG and 193 PG students got placed with an average package of 16 LPA in UG and 11.75 LPA in PG. The median salary package offered is 14 LPA. The overall placements percentage of the college is decent.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is decent. Good academic blocks, library, students activity center, canteen, and a sports complex are available at NSUT. The hostels are fine but they will not provide AC rooms. In fact, if you want a cooler, you have to bring your own. For AC rooms, there is only 1 premium hostel ‘JC BOSE’ whose fee is almost the double amount of that paid in the normal hostels.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and sufficient. They provide quality education to the students. Proper practical labs and machines are available and the course is relevant. The semester exams are a bit difficult but nothing will come from out of syllabus, everything will be from whatever we have studied.
Other: Cultural fest of NSUT is MOKSHA which is amazing. It may be held between March and April. Also, there is a technical fest called RESONANCE which may held between October and November.

A great college with lush green campus and good placement.
Placements: Placements are still going on in my college, but as per my information and not official this year, the average package of all the branches is around 17 LPA, and the electrical batch got an average package of around 13 LPA, and the highest is around 30 LPA (I don't know the actual figure because our college prefers not to say it). There are many big companies that come into our college for different fields like technical, non-technical, and core, and the internships start from the 3rd year onwards, and there are a good amount of companies that come for it.
Infrastructure: NSUT has one of the best lush green campus in Delhi; the libraries are fully air-conditioned with great Wi-Fi speed (around 200mbps), it has one of the best halls, I guess, in any college, which is known as APJ Hall, which is only for freshmen. Hostels are fine—not bad, not too good; the food is okay, probably on the good side, not bad; the taste is good. There are also one canteen and 1 Amul shop on campus, which are good. Medical facilities are good; there are many grounds for sports and games: 1 cricket ground, a 1400-meter track, which just got built and is probably the best track in Delhi; there are table tennis courts and volleyball courts too.
Faculty: It depends on the teacher; there are some good ones; some are fine, but most are good and helpful; there are good qualified teachers for core subjects; most teachers are guest faculty in their 1st year who are getting their Ph.D. here at the college; they teach well, though. The course curriculum is good, not too bad. Semester exams are difficult; checking paint is that easy on the main campus; you have to study before the exam for some days to score well. Pass percentage is around 90%.
Other: The main reason for me to choose this course was because it was near my house, and the best thing about this course is that I can learn my favorite things in it, which I love and enjoy. The new updated roadmap for the students as the course running right now is from 2019, so they should update it now as after COVID some things are changed. Well, NSUT organizes the best festival in Delhi, which is known as MOKSHA. The campus crowd is good, connectivity is good as its just around 500 m from the metro, and there are bus stands outside the college gate (2). There are many scholarships offered by the Delhi government and several PVT ones too.

{Source: BBA students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

Pros:

* Experienced and knowledgeable faculty members
* Relevant course structure and curriculum
* Average salary package ranging from 4 LPA to 5 LPA
* Good infrastructure, including air-conditioned classrooms, clean washrooms, and sports facilities
* Opportunities for extracurricular activities, events, and festivals
* Scholarships are provided to students
* Placements are improving, with over 60% of students placed annually
