Dreams of Many engineering which is called NSUT.
Placements: There are 80 students in my course, and the highest package is one near one crore, and the average package is 15 LPA. There are many companies that visit our college, like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and 70% of them got internships in our courts from her college.
Infrastructure: The excellent infrastructure and facilities available in a department, like a central library, full-air-conditioned classrooms, and Wi-Fi, are available in our college. If you have questions, then there is an accident hostel with high-feeling facilities available in our college. There is one central library, and medical facilities are free.
Faculty: If you talk about our teachers, which depend on student to student, if students are smart well enough, then teachers become helpful for them, and their very qualified and mostly teachers are graduated from IIT and very knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is well enough, which helps us to clear the semester exam, and the one thing that I dislike the most is the level of the exam. It is the high level of exams I didn't take this take this semester, which makes it difficult to score as much CGPA as we want.
Other: Well, I chose this course because of my rank. All students got the branch according to their rank. What I wish to improve about my course is to study well enough to sit in teach placements and become a software engineer. If you talk about the events first, which are highly repeated, there is one, known as Moksha, which is the biggest festival of Asians, and there is one more, which is called Resonance. These two five-star courses are very excellent and scholarship.

One thing that feels wrong to me is the rule of 75% attendance.
Placements: At least 80 percent of students were placed in instrumentation engineering. The highest package is 44 LPA, the lowest package is LPA, and the average package is 13 LPA. The internship percentage is low, about 5-10 percent. The top recruiting company for instrumentation engineering at NSUT is Black Rock.
Infrastructure: The buildings of our department are very good. Classes for the first year are conducted in APJ THEATRE HALL; in the second year, it shifts to the smart block or connection block, and in the third or fourth year, classes occur in Block 6, also known as the Department of Instrumentation and Mechanical. Medical facilities in the college are very good and fast. I cannot say anything about hostel facilities because I am a day scholar.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, and all teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching qualities of teachers are good, but some teachers' way of teaching is out of the box. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant to industry knowledge. Semester exams at NSUT are okay, neither too easy nor too difficult; an average student can easily pass semester exams. The pass percentage is 40 percent.
Other: Honestly, I chose this course according to my JEE Main rank. I think it is the best course within the range of my JEE Main rank. The best thing about this course is that it gives a flavor of both branches, namely, the teaching and circuital branch. I don't think that anything would change in this course. Teach Fest of NSUT: RESO; cultural fest of NSUT: MOKSHA. The nearest METRO STATION TO NSUT Main CAMPUS IS DWARKA MOR.

In short, it is a really good college.
Placements: In my course, around 40%-50% of the students are placed in the last passed-out batch. The highest salary package offered was 50 LPA, the average salary package offered was 15 LPA. And the lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Bechtel and Texas Instruments are the major companies in ICE. Around 60% of the last passed-out batch got internships in ICE with companies including Jaguar and Maruti Suzuki. Top roles include Data Analysis, Networking, and Telecommunication.
Infrastructure: University facilities are good, hygienic, and well-equipped with important equipment and required machinery like Wi-Fi, air conditioner, etc. The hostel is also decent, with proper maintenance and cleaning. Medical facilities are provided with 24/7 emergency service. The mess and canteen can handle the entire crowd of hostels and the university during regular working hours. Good quality and a variety of food are provided, so everything works well.
Faculty: Teachers are decent when it comes to helping, and they are well-qualified in what they teach. Most of the time, they have answers to our difficult queries. Course curriculum is relevant according to our branches. It helps us gain in-depth knowledge of what we are be required to do at the industrial level. Semester exams are moderately difficult and can be handled if studied properly. The pass percentage is quite low, at 33%, so it's easier to manage in the exams.

Best college life, but dissatisfied with placements due to recession.
Placements: NSUT is a top-tier college in Delhi, with a decent placement record. About 70% of students got placed in B.Tech. in 2023. The lowest package is INR 4 LPA, whereas the highest is INR 40 LPA this year. Top companies do come for tech roles, non-tech roles, and core roles. Google, Weels, Expedia, etc. are the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of NSUT is well known among engineering students and colleges. There is a famous fountain, which students love to capture photos of. Also, the college has wi-fi, a gym, a library, sports facilities, a cricket ground, and a football field. The hostels, which are average and decent, but mostly do not have ACs.
Faculty: Faculty and professors at NSUT are what the college is well known for: having top-class faculty with the highest level of qualifications in their respective fields. However, the course curriculum is still old for a few courses, like core subjects. This needs to be modified.

Instrumentation and control engineering and College life at NSUT.
Placements: My course name is instrumentation and control engineering. It is all about electronics and electrical engineering. We have to study about various electrical instruments used to improve our daily life. Also we learned computer Science knowledge like coding stuff to get good placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in our college and in our department is really up to the mark. Classes are big, sitting space is about 100 person per class. Fans and light properly working, provided projector as well, big smart boards and Air conditioned lab are provided. Wi-Fi is available working properly .
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful perfectly knowledgeable and highly qualified. They know how to teach students easily with good and easy methods. Yes my course curriculum is relevant in the field of electrical and electronics world. Exam are not tough to be honest just work hard and crack them.
Other: The biggest fest is moksha and it is really out of the box fest Best artist come here to perform. Sports facilities are also nice in our college.

Students also asked

Q:   Can I join NSIT directly?

A:

No, the institute does not offer any facility that offers direct admission to any of the courses offered at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) (formerly known as Netaji Subhas Instiute of Technology). Students must fulfill the minimum eligibility for the course to which they are willing to take admission.

NSUT offers a wide range of UG, PG, and doctoral-level courses under numerous specialisations. Netaji Subhas Institute University of Technology (NSUT) course admissions are based on various national-level entrance examinations like JEE-Main, GATE, CAT, CUET, and many others. Students can visit the institute's official website to get information related to the required minimum eligibility.

Q:   Can I get B.Tech at NSIT with 75 percentile in JEE?

A:

Getting into NSIT's B.Tech programme with a just 75 percentile JEE Main score is extremely challenging.
Popular fields like electronics and computer Science typically have closing ranks for the General category that are less than 2000.
This usually means to a score above 200 or a 99+ percentile on the JEE Main.Even for the reserved categories (OBC, SC, and ST), the cutoffs fall below 10,000 and are in the range of 95+ percentile.
The NSIT computer Science JEE Main closing percentile in 2022 was:
SC - 98.23, ST - 96.32, General - 99.91, OBC - 99.21

Therefore, there is very little to no chance of getting into NSIT with a rank of less than 30,000 or a 75 percentile.
This percentile score means that the engineering colleges you could potentially attend are much less popular.

Q:   Does NSIT accept JEE score?

A:

Yes, NSIT accepts JEE scores for admission to the B.Tech courses.Candidates who qualify JEE Main 2023 are called for the JAC Delhi Counselling 2023. JAC Delhi Counseling has been held for up to five rounds till now.

Based on the previous year cutoff, the NSUT cutoff 2023 for BTech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) closed at 3255, while in 2022 it closed at 3631, and in 2021 at 1300.  NSUT also offers admission to BTech courses through DASA UG. Students can check the official website for the latest updates on the JEE Main exam and also can visit Shiksha.com.

Q:   How are the placements at NSUT?

A:

More than 320 companies participated in the 2024 drive, mainly from the Tech sector. The highest number of offers was also made in the Tech sector. Check the complete insights of NSUT placements 2024 from the table below:

Q:   Which is a better college to pursue CSE, DTU or NSIT?

A:

Both DTU and NSUT accepts JEE Main scores, followed by JAC Delhi counselling process for admission to the BTech courses. As per the JEE Main 2024 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 5864 during the Round 4 Seat Allotment for the General AI category students. While for NSUT, the Round 4 closing rank stood at 6058. So, considering the cutoff, DTU is comparitely more tough to get into for CSE admission.

As per the NIRF 2023 rankings, DTU was ranked 29th and NSUT was ranked 60th position in the Engineering category. Candidates can refer to the table below to consider other aspects, such as the CSE course fee and the average package for both institutes, before making a decision.
