Journey of 3rd year IT student.
Placements: There are 85% of placements avialable in our college. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA and the average salary package offered is 6.5 LPA. Amazon, Deloitte, TCS, and Accenture are the top recruiting companies for our IT branch. About 40% of students get internships in TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, and Wipro. The major role offered for my branch is software engineer.
Infrastructure: Our branch has one building for conducting classes and all classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and air conditioning. In the IT branch, all labs are equipped with advanced machines and software. Our college does not have a hostel, but outside the campus there are many private PGs available for students. The food quality in PGs is average. In terms of sports, this college does not perform well because it has a small ground.
Faculty: The professor is very qualified. They have good knowledge and experience. The teaching skills are also very unique. This course is very helpful for industry-level work. In this course, we learn about the software part. Semester exam is moderate. Students can pass the semester exam easily with medium focus. The pass percentage of students is 85%.
Other: I chose this course because the opportunities are very good in this field. Looking at the future, this course is very promising. Through this course, we have opportunities to become software developers. I wish the college would improve the curriculum of the branch. Mesmerize, Infinito, and Zest are all fests held in this college. In terms of extracurricular activities, this college is very good.

College campus is very small. But other facilities are good.
Placements: As per the latest report, 82% of students in the B.Tech, MCA, and BCA batches in 2023 were placed in reputed companies. In the B.Tech course, the highest package at our college is INR 29 LPA, and the average package is INR 6.50 LPA. Top recruiting companies at our college are TCS, Accenture, and Cognizant, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good enough. There are Wi-Fi and projectors in every classroom. Labs are clean, and every instrument is in proper working condition. A central library is in our college. But the college campus is very small. The food quality of the canteen is good. The college has no hostel. The college sports culture is not so good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most teachers have doctorates. But our course curriculum is not relevant for tech company placements. It does not make students ready for the industry. Our semester exams are very difficult. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: Sports facility is very poor.

If you don't have any option then come here.
Placements: The placement is below average. The top recruiters are TCS Wipro, Cognizant, etc. at 4 LPA or 5 LPA packages. The highest package claimed by college is 44 lac in Microsoft, while average claimed is around 5.5 lacs.
Infrastructure: There are many paying guest accommodations nearby that are reasonably priced and have good facilities. The college provides good facilities, including Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. Some classrooms have air conditioning, and some do not.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and dedicated. They are trying their best to teach the students. I think they all have PhDs from Jadavpur University. The curriculum is determined by Makaut University, and it is a bit outdated. Some changes should be made. The semester exams are easy and if we pay attention in class, we can pass them easily.
Other: I chose this course because I didn't have any other options. The best thing about it is that it's an engineering course. The college offers a variety of events, including cultural festivals like Prelude and coding events. However, the college is located 25 km from the Howrah railway station, and the surrounding area is not very good.

The best college in the East.
Placements: The placement is very good here. Almost all students get placed in the CS, IT or ECE branches. Some of our recruiters are TCS, Accenture, and Wipro. The average package is 5 LPA; the highest package was 30 LPA. I personally aim to secure a good package. Students from core branches need to put in some extra effort.
Infrastructure: Our department, which is the Information Technology department, is one of the best. The faculty is well-qualified and helpful. We have Wi-Fi all over the campus. Unfortunately, our college doesn't have its own hostel but it is planning to make one soon.
Faculty: The faculty is great here; they make you well-equipped with industry trends. The fee hike is something the college should think about. The exams took place after 3–4 months of the semester. The curriculum is improvised by our university, Makaut. One must clear concepts to pass the exams.
Other: Our college hosts basically three types of fests: the freshers welcome prelude, the cultural fest Mesmerizer, and the tech fest Avenir. There are also various clubs for the participation of students. Sports events also take place both intercollegiately and intracollegiately.

Placements: Approximately 70% of the students have been successfully placed in Netaji Subhash Engineering College. Renowned companies such as Oracle, Accenture, Amazon, Flipkart, and Cognizant are among the top recruiters at the institution.

Students can find books related to their college syllabus in the library. Although there is no hostel facility, there are nearby options such as mess and PG accommodations.
Faculty: The faculty members at Netaji Subhash Engineering College are exceptionally supportive and well-informed. The teaching quality is outstanding, and the teachers are consistently available to assist the students. In comparison to other institutes, the curriculum offered is highly relevant.
