Facilities are too good, and have a very great view, placements are good in year 2022.
Placements: Around 70-80 percent of students get placed. The highest package is 19 LPA. The lowest package is 6 LPA. Samsung. Around 85 percent of students got internships. The fest is not that crazy, but the view of the college is too good, and it is a very safe campus. If you work hard in any branch on this campus, you will get placed.
Infrastructure: The facilities are normal, not that hi-fi. The labs are good and have a great Wi-Fi connection. The fest is not that crazy, but the view of the college is too good, and it is a very safe campus. If you work hard in any branch on this campus, you will get placed. You will have an enjoyable life on this campus.
Faculty: The teachers have great knowledge of their course and have a very supportive nature. Semester exams are normal, not the type of tough exam that can't be conducted. The fest is not that crazy, but the view of the college is too good, and it is a very safe campus. If you work hard in any branch on this campus, you will get placed. You will have an enjoyable life on this campus.
Other: This course has a kick, and I have to make my future in my liking subject.

College beauty is unmatchable. Most aesthetic campus I have seen.
Placements: Placement here is decently good. ROI is amazing. Some of my known seniors have been placed with 19 LPA and some have off-campus placement ranging from 17 LPA-18 LPA. So placement is quite decent. As placement is still going on, it will only get better.
Infrastructure: College was made in 1960, doesn't feel very modern but is very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. Location is best in India, can't be better. Faculty members can be better. Mess food is decent. There is room sharing for first years.
Faculty: First semester started on 27 August and is going to end on 11 December, so this semester felt quite fast. Everything was running all at once assignments, practicals, mid-sem, and now end exams. Faculty members are good, but some of them are rude as well, but it is fun.

NIT Srinagar review in general.
Placements: Placement rate is not good, many seniors having good CGPA do not get placement. The highest package is about 20 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA. The average package is about 12 LPA. Sorry, but top companies don't come here. The percentage of students who got placement is also low.
Infrastructure: In general, teachers are good, but due to lack of facilities and advanced labs, they can't give their best. The library is good enough for studying but is very small. Hostels are not good; in one room, there are 5 boys, and there is total chaos and confusion the whole day. Sports, canteen, and medical care are good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but due to lack of facilities and advanced labs, they can't give their 100%. Classes are small, and the course curriculum is not relevant. It does not make us ready for industrial work. Furthermore, exams are too easy.
Other: I think ECE has vast and great scope in the future, which is why I chose ECE as my engineering course. There are many great things related to this course, e.g., it gives us skills about semiconductors, which is the future in general. Labs in this college are not good, so they do not make us skillful.

Campus life good. Good for CSE, IT And ECE and average for mechanical and electrical.
Placements: Around 70-80% of the students get placed in ECE. The average package offered is around 11.5LPA, the highest is 19.20 LPA and the lowest package offered is 4 LPA to the students of ECE branch in 2024 in the month of September and it is still ongoing. Top recruiting companies are Airtel, Oracle, Nexturn, Microsoft, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good enough and the campus is also very small but it?'s a beautiful college. There is a good scenic view of the Dal Lake surrounded by the mountains. Overall, it's an average college. Wi-Fi is good and works properly, giving a speed of 1-20 mbps. The labs are also good. Overall, the maximum students got internships. The food quality is not good. The hostel is quite good; usually there are 5-seater rooms in the hostel but a mega hostel is under construction, which is expected to be big and good enough.
Faculty: The professors are well qualified (PhD). Their teaching methods are quite friendly and good. The semester exams depend on the teachers. Some of them are good, while the others have different teaching skills. They have good experience in teaching. Overall, all the professors are good. Semester exams are not too difficult. It is moderate.
Other: According to my JEE rank, this option is the best. ECE has a good future. Usually events are held at NIT Srinagar.

Dissatisfied with the core placements.
Placements: The placement percent of our college remains steady at 60-70% but the only problem is that placement takes place in the CSE/IT branch. Core companies for ECE and electrical, etc. don't visit the campus much. Even if they do, only a few used to get placement.
Infrastructure: To be honest, the Wi-Fi facility at our college is average; at some places you can even SEE video at 8K, and many at the campus there is no Wi-Fi. Our library is well-equipped with Wi-Fi. For our ECE department, we don't have a VLSI lab till date and a lot more facilities are missing. The quality of food is good as compared to those served at Kotak Mess. We don't have much to complain about about the food facility; they provide us food 4 times a day and its consumable; they provide us chicken approximately. 3 days a week, medical facilities are below average, not much equipments and sports facilities are good you can play anytime between 6 am and 9 pm at the playground and obviously you can even play at 3 am badminton with your friends but not at the playground.
Faculty: Coming to the most important part, the course curriculum will only make you complete 3 idiots. That's the truth. It will only result in mugging. The teachers are qualified; no problem with that but from 2nd year, the teachers are very strict; they can even make you fail for 1 mark. It makes you industry-ready. You have to do coding to get placement from NIT Srinagar; that's the truth. Almost all students pass the exam. Papers are set up by the concerned faculty itself and they directly come from notes. The main problem starts from the 5th semester onwards, as most of the students get backlogs from the 5th semester in the ECE, electrical department.
Other: I chose this course because I came to know that ECE will have a bright future scope. The best thing about this course is we learn to make microchips and gain knowledge about robotics, which is important in today's AI generation. If there were more facilities like the VLSI design lab and faculty were not very strict, and if we got in-depth core knowledge. Events are held on regular basis, and if you participate, you can get certificates, which improves your resume many outsiders also participate in these events Recently, there was the biggest festival of this year at NIT Srinagar (techvaganza)connectivity is good, the alumni network is strong here, and yes, they provide us with scholarships like NSP and FFP by notifying us students about it. Extracurricular activities are arranged here in the form of events. Many students participate in these events.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
