You can join the college for good placement; the campus life is average.
Placements: About 85-90% of students get placed, with the lowest package being 6 LPA (Mechanical) and the highest 25 LPA (Mechanical). Companies like Tata and Mahindra Motor are among the recruiters. A decent number of internships are provided for roles such as Front End Manager. This year, the highest package is 2.07 crores from off-campus by Google in 2024.
Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi and LAN are available. The classrooms are average, and there are two Maggi points on campus as well as two separate canteens. Classrooms have AC and fans, but some classes don’t have AC, which is currently being addressed. There are many sports available, including chess, football, cricket, and volleyball.
Faculty: The faculty is good and helps us a lot. They have Ph.D. and M.Tech degrees from IIT Roorkee and IIT Delhi. Semester exams are still pending. There are large workshops present, equipped with multiple lathe machines, grinding machines, and drilling machines for mechanical students, as well as good CS labs for CSE students.
Other: We are freshers and don’t know much about the fests, but there are many, including sports fests and an annual tech fest.

The college is good with exillent placement record with good atmosphere.
Placements: Mostly 86 percent is placed in my course The highest packeg of 20 LPA 8 LPA for average and 5 LPA for the lowest Tata motors maruti suzuki, jio etc. Above 80 percent got internship in companies like jio l and t, tata motors, jio, suzuki swift ect The roles like maneger production manager etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good enough for me and my friends, with good infrastructure AC is available for every single class room, lab, and library Facilities in my hostel is good fans in my room is working good mess have variety of food menu list medical is available and games also available.
Faculty: teachers are available for everyone; they are highly qualified to answer everyone's doubts The course that is running is relevant; it makes students ready for industry but also for being self-sufficient. In every year, there are two semesters, and in one semester, there is one mid-semester exam, and above 80 percent is passed.
Other: This course gives me wings to become engine developer. The best thing about this course is that from studying it, I also become a scientist The one thing that I like to change in the curriculum in labs is that it repeat fast, the events like hackathon, ecentrica, good interview NIT sports, and so many extra curricular activities.

The college is good overall, but I'm unhappy with the infrastructure.
Placements: The average package offered at NIT Patna is around 8 to 10 LPA, with approximately 60 percent of students receiving internship opportunities. The college has a strong track record in placements, with the highest package offered being 1.6 crore per annum, which is the highest among all NITs. Our college attracts good companies, making it a great choice for aspiring students. Consider joining NIT Patna for a promising future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure falls short of expectations, although it is not terrible. The food is somewhat manageable. There is a limited number of sports facilities, with only one field available for multiple sports at this college, which is situated on a 40-acre campus. Unfortunately, the hostel infrastructure is not satisfactory due to its age.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and helpful, with good speaking skills. The semester exams are of average difficulty, and each teacher is a scholar who can address any doubts. The semesters are moderately challenging, requiring dedicated study. Additionally, there are opportunities for growth and change in the first year.
Other: Fests are less in this college.

A small glimpse of NIT Patna.
Placements: NITP is one of the best colleges for mechanical engineering. As it provides a placement of more than 100%. ME offers an average package of about 8.5 LPA. Mostly companies that visit here allow mechanical students both from core and in technical companies too.
Infrastructure: Our classes are small as they contain about 77 students. It is good for students as they can interact with teachers easily. Facilities like fully Wi-Fi campus with separate labs, one common library, also different departmental libraries. Indoor and outdoor games are also played here.
Faculty: All the faculty are cooperative. If anyone has any doubt, they will help you. Also, they will support you if you have new ideas. They also guide you whenever you want their help. Yes, the course is relevant as most of the students get placed in their core branches. Almost all students pass the semester exams except those who did not appear or did not write anything on the paper.
Other: Also, fests happen here yearly. But within months or two months, many cultural activities take place for students to enjoy.

Good placements from the last two to three years and quiet good facilities.
Placements: About 80 to 90% of students get the placement from the past few years, and it is increasing every year in mechanical; there was 100% placement last year; last year's highest package was approx. 1.5 cr from ECE; this year a student of NIT Patna got approx. 2.5 cr off campus placement; also, the average package of all branches is almost 13 lpa. Some major recruiters, including Infosys, TCS, L&T, Cognizant, Wipro, Microsoft, Oracle, and others, come offering jobs. About 60–70% of students, with companies like TCS, Cognizant, and Infosys offering internships. There are many roles offered, such as software engineer, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, electronics engineer, and civil engineer.
Infrastructure: For course, almost all the equipment is available, but there are some flaws too, such as infrastructure, the environment is not suitable that any human can sustain easily, as in the workshop there are no fans at all, and in some classes there are ACs but not working that cause some inconvenience in the summer season, although teachers are good. The hostel food is not that good but at least eatable; the menu is good though if they make the dishes properly, and we can also get some extra stuff by using tokens provided by the mess; we don't have to pay extra for the tokens they are provided by the mess itself. Medical facilities are typically good but not as much expected; there are two doctors available, but at night there is only an ambulance facility available, no doctors, and the ambulance is not in the condition expected, but it's fine to use, and the college provides medical insurance too, so it's up to them; they will take care of you. Sports and games are nicely provided on the campus; although it has a smaller campus, they are providing good facilities for almost every sport.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and they are very good in their subjects; as knowledge matters, they are awesome at it, and they are supportive except some, as faults can be found everywhere. Yes, the curriculum is based on more practical practices then theory. Semesters are more practical then cramming. The pass percentage is almost 100%.
Other: In this course, the placement is 100% and the minimum criteria set by the college for companies to offer is 6 LPA, so it's pretty nice. Still, all things are based on your potential and what can you achieve using college resources.

this year as the procedure of declaring result has been changed which is now based on percentile so you have to wait till the final result gets declare because final result will only tell in which college you can get admission. The final result will be declared after JEE Mains April exam. Good luck
