It is a very good college in it's own way. 7/10 can be awarded for the NIT Raipur.
Placements: Companies visit for campus recruitment, but only from the IT, consultancy, and analytics sectors. This year, we are trying to invite companies from the healthcare industry and food biotech industries to visit us, but it will take some time. The core biotech companies offer satisfying packages, and hence we are not very keen on inviting them.
Infrastructure: We have well-built labs and classes. The Wi-Fi facility is good, but there is a problem with the provisions of the hostel. In the first year, you get the hostel based on your JEE rank, taking category and distance into consideration. They are unable to expand the campus as it is in the center of the city. They are planning to build a new campus. All the equipment for sports and games is available, depending on your interest. The institute has a well-organized, magnificent building symbolizing its grandeur. This huge building alone covers a total area of 62,060 sq. m. It is a triple-storied planned structure along with a central tower standing up to 23 meters high. There are 35 lecture halls extending over an area of 6,675 sq. m and 13 drawing halls/studios extending over an area of 3,510 sq. m, with about 85 labs over an area of 11,510 sq. m. The other amenities comprise a canteen, cycle stand, N.C.C., N.S.S. department, a student activity center, a cooperative store, and a dispensary. The building is being further extended for the architecture and electronics departments. The campus includes the college building, canteen building, Training and Placement Office, 5 boys' hostels for 1st-year students, one major boys' hostel which is quite on par with IIT standards, 2 girls' hostels, two gardens, one basketball court, faculty quarters, a dispensary, and an events ground. For sports, Hostel H has badminton courts inside, and they can be found inside the main college building's verandah as well. Classrooms have air conditioning, but it depends on the department head whether they give permission to use them or not. Labs are good; the campus has Wi-Fi, but you don't get the range everywhere except for labs, the library, and hostels. Hostel rooms are renovated and quite well-furnished. The quality of mess food is also nice.
Faculty: The quality of faculty members is definitely not of NIT standard and is only slightly above average. The crux lies in the fact that faculty members have a hard time building an intriguing class. That being said, yes, most teachers are helping, which tasks students to explore beyond studying.
Other: Objectively, the whole experience is okay, but subjectively, you eventually start to cope, live, and enjoy it. In a very unintended and disguised way, it teaches you a lot. The library is poorly maintained, and no online material is purchased, which makes some students explore the free side and exploit more from faculty members. The infrastructure is poor; labs weren't maintained, and there are hostel issues. However, the new Director has enormously paced the work regarding infrastructure, and change can be seen quarterly.

A glimpse of NIT Raipur college.
Placements: In the biotech department, core jobs are less common in India, and for core jobs, you have to pursue at least a Masters; thus, most students opt for M.Tech degrees, and hence placements are less, though 60% got placed last year in the teaching sector. The highest package offered was 21 LPA, and the lowest was 6 LPA. About 70% of students get internship opportunities, out of which 20–25% get PPO.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is too good but there is a con: not everyone get hostel seat. In the first year, out of 1000, only 400 students get hostels on the basis of their JEE rank. From the second year on, hostel allotment is strictly based on CPI, i.e., about 20 top performers in class get hostels. Talking about facilities in hostel, that is ideal: hygienic food 4 times a day, well-equipped wi-fi, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members of the department are too good; they are among 2% of the world's top scientists. The course curriculum is top notch and the teachers are supportive. Talking about semester exams, it is quite difficult and hectic for students. There are two exams in a semester: midterm and endterm, with 30 and 50 marks, respectively.

Nit Raipur a breif everything you want to know
Placements: Approx 20-30% of student get placed on campus average salary is about 8 lpa all top recruting company comes here you can try for all the other companies if you have a good cpi and grab a good amount of package and approx 7-8 lpa package can someone except from here
Infrastructure: Infrastructure are ok ok wifi are available in hostel and in classroom labs are pretty good ,but the buildings are old if you are excepting too much by thinking that it is a NIT so keep your exceptation low cause it's gonna hurt you but overall college is good
Faculty: Everything about the exam , faculty are good but between exam youre not gonna get break to study which is i think was not a good thing for the student cause they get more pressure due to it and faculty are nrml but you gonna like hell when they are gonna teach you
Other: Many different fest takes place in a year so you are not gonna get bore and also there are many different clubs are there where you can join according to your interest

NIT Raipur, really a good college in terms of placements and campus life.
Placements: Since biotechnology is a new branch and hence its placements increase year by year for example in 2021, placement percentage was about 50% whereas in 2022 it was about 70% and this year, I. e. 2023 placements are ongoing, the placement cell have not released official data yet. The highest package offered was 21lpa and the lowest package offered was 6lpa. Average package in this department is 10lpa and median package is 8.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good enough. We have like well-equipped labs for each department, including workshop department too. There is a beautiful garden in college known as central garden. Lets talk about hostel, this college lacks in providing hostel facility to each student, there are limited seats in hostel and the top 15 from each department gets hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful (except few), they are well qualified and knowledgeable, all are giants of their field. Yes course curriculum is relevant for the industry. There are two exams in each semester, one is mid semester exam and another is end semester exam, mid semester exams are easy but end semester exams are quite tough.
Other: I choose this course because this is growing sector in our country and I was clean towards its study. There are many clubs and society. Fests happening throughout the year but three major fests are samar, eclectic, and aavartan.

Review of National Institute of Technology Raipur.
Placements: In my biotech branch at NIT Raipur, there are 80 students, including about 20 girls and the rest being boys. Last year, the highest package offered was 24 LPA, with an average package ranging between 10 and 11 LPA. The roles predominantly offered were in the consultant and sales departments, with the majority of companies belonging to the IT sector. Only 2–3 companies are from the core sector.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of NIT Raipur College is decent; being situated in the city, the campus area is not extensive. The classrooms and labs are well-equipped with Wi-Fi, and other amenities are appropriately arranged. There are 7 boys' hostels and 2 girls' hostels. The mess and canteen facilities are effectively utilized. Sports and game facilities are exceptional.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified, holding doctorate degrees in their respective research fields. The teachers employ their unique teaching methods, and it is up to the students to adapt and learn. The collective effort makes students industry-ready, enhancing their job prospects. Semester exams are well-structured, comprising mid-semester and end-semester assessments.
Other: Frequent events are conducted at my college, with major club events occurring approximately every two months. These events include dance, singing, and various other activities.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
