The great experience in NIT Srinagar.
Placements: Placements have increased quite much as the year passes. As the placements increased, students got placed with greater placements. Even a student with an average CGPA gets placed. There are great companies that are approaching the college and even giving great deals.
Infrastructure: The quality of infrastructure is best. The hostel arrangements are organized very well. The hostel is clean with a bed, and a cupboard provided to each student. They even provide Wi-Fi access to the students. There are reading rooms for students to study peacefully.
Faculty: The curriculum is the best. Our faculty members are the best as they helped a lot of students and even motivated them to cover all scopes. They do their best. Overall the faculty is 2% of the world. The curriculum has a great syllabus and exams are great.

Me and the chaotic life in NIT Srinagar.
Placements: There are some good as well as bad placements too. The highest went up to 40 Lacs around and the lowest to around 10 Lacs. Top recruiting companies for our course are Samsung, Oracle, Autodesk. Around 25-40% got internships from CSE and its branches in many of these companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities, I would say, in comparison to other colleges (as far as I have seen) are not good. I think it's because it's one of the oldest ones, so yes, it's not renovated and the quality is also not good. The quality of food in the mess varies. Sometimes it's good, and sometimes it's not eatable. Medical facilities are good enough here. Sports and games are enough, but there are so many restrictions for girls. Being a girl, it is a bit irritating with all these restrictions. The facilities and infrastructure of the classes need to be renovated too. And what to tell about the network and Wi-Fi. There is not one Wi-Fi that works, and not even our own internet, as I guess there are some kind of jammers on the campus. The library has most of the books but not enough sitting arrangements. Labs are good enough. But one thing is main: the college is old, so it should be redone. Otherwise, it is good.
Faculty: There are different kinds and natures of teachers. Some are very helpful, while some are like "cannot be asked anything," and they would do something to you. Some are very qualified and knowledgeable, but yes, some are like they first learn themselves the basics and then come to class and teach it. Horrible experience with some teachers. The difficulty is not much; it is doable. Teachers only give those questions which were taught. The pass percentage is 30-40%.
Other: I chose this course because it will provide me with one of the best placements it should be. It is one of the best for more options, learning more things around, going on. It would provide me with more scope later on. More facilities would be wished for by me. Events and fests are not that good and grand as others, which is not a good sign. The campus and surroundings are good, but they should be developed.

Overall, this is a decent college with a very beautiful campus and weather.
Placements: I am a student of information technology at the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar. This is a prestigious college in Jammu and Kashmir. There is decent placement because of the training and placement-dedicated department that helps in getting placement.
Infrastructure: This college has all the necessary facilities, like its own building for all the branches and classrooms like lecture halls and PF halls. Additionally, it has all the basic labs related to the course. There is no operating cafeteria at this moment but there is a canteen.
Faculty: There are good faculty for the course, like computer science and information technology. They provide a good number of lectures to cover the main topic. Semester exams here are in two phases: midterm and end term. Apart from this, there are also lab exams.
Other: Information technology is a software-related course, which I prefer in the recent technology world.

Overall, it is a good college to pursue engineering. Don't expect so many fests .
Placements: In CSE and IT branches , approximately 90% of the students are placed by the end of the course. The average package in the CSE IT branch is around 7-8 lakhs. Top recruiting companies include Infosys , Microsoft , Samsung , Oracle, etc. Almost every student gets an internship during their 3rd year in IIT or companies if you are highly skilled .
Infrastructure: The overall facilities in NIT Srinagar are good. The classrooms are well built with air conditioners and smart boards. There is a library which has many books. The library also has Wi-Fi, but the hostel Wi-Fi is very poor. About the hostel , there are 5 students in a room in the first three years; in the fourth year, you can get a single room in Jhelum Hostel.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty are very supportive, cooperative, and helpful towards students. All teaching staff are PhD qualified. The curriculum is well designed so that it makes the students industry-ready. There are mid-sem and end-sem exams in a semester. You will have to get at least 40 marks in each subject to pass the subject.
Other: I chose this course for a career in the IT industry. The campus is very beautiful. There are beautiful mountains around. Also, Dal Lake is near the college.

College is good for exploring yourself and getting new opportunities .
Placements: Good placements in upper branches like CS and IT companies often come here for them. This year, we have Oracle, Samsung, and NVIDIA, and they gave very good offers to students. Oracle has taken 7 students, avg was 20 lakh, and for Samsung, 5 students, average was 15 lakh.
Infrastructure: The hostel and infrastructure are very good in NIT Srinagar. We have five hostels here: Mansar, Manasbal, Jalam, Indus, and Tavi for each year. Separate hostels are provided in each hostel. There are different types of bedrooms, like in Indus, Devi and Manas.
Faculty: Here, the level of the exam is very good, average. You can take cheats and a mobile to the exam, and you can easily cheat. Some of the PhD scholars are very helpful. They will allow you to cheat, but some are very dangerous. They will pick you out of the class, and you will get supplies in the 1st year, so be careful in the 1st year, but hear that the EC and electrical branch has very bad teachers.
Other: First of all, I want to say that don’t come to this college.t come to get girlfriends easily. If you are from Bihar, you can come because here Bihari or black people like to get girlfriends easily. Like if you are gay, I will get a girlfriend easily and we have a very good facility for you, know for like Golu Mullu things.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
