Most honest review of RV College of Engineering.
Placements: RV College of Engineering is very famous for its placements. The college has a great alumni network which attracts many students from the north India as well. The Mechanical Engineering department has collaborations with companies like Mercedes Benz, Toyota, and Morris Garage, offering excellent opportunities.
Infrastructure: There are three hostels for boys on campus, among which Krishna Hostel is the best. Students are accommodated in Krishna Hostel based on their CGPA. The other two hostels are below average; while the rooms are decent, the washrooms are common.
Faculty: As far as I know, first-year exams are relatively easy, and students can score marks easily. However, academics become moderately challenging in the higher semesters. Students need to focus on studying and scoring good marks to secure placements with good packages.

One of the best colleges: RV College.
Placements: RV is the best college in Bangalore. It's NIRF ranking is 95, which makes it even better. Here, 80% of students get placed. Last year, the highest package was 94.59 LPA and the lowest was 7 LPA. Students do get internship offers as soon as they are qualified for the 6th semester.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms and libraries get 24x7 Wi-Fi access. Classes are taught with a digital board and projector, which makes learning even more interesting. Lab equipment is up to date and we are encouraged to perform unique experiments. The mess food is quite good. The college also provides proper medical services.
Faculty: The teachers and all the other staff are helpful, qualified and experienced. There experience will guide us to a bright future. The coarse curriculum is relevant as it provides practical experience and field knowledge. The practical knowledge will help us implement it during our placements.
Other: I was curious to study mechanical engineering because I am interested in studying how cars, bike or other mechanical things work. Events and fests are never to miss because you will get a chance to witness big stars for real .

RV College of Engineering is one of the top colleges in Bangalore and is known for its placements.
Placements: I am currently studying at RV College of Engineering, Mechanical Department. This year, 25% of students got placed with the highest salary package of 31 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10.75 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bosch and Mercedes. About 30% of students got internships in companies like Mercedes.
Infrastructure: Our college is under construction. Campus is decent with a big canteen. Classrooms have Wi-Fi. We also have labs and a library, which is recently made. In the mess, food is good. But rooms and washrooms are not clean. Washrooms are common. We have a ground which is common for all sports.
Faculty: All teachers are Ph.D holders from reputed colleges like IITs and IISC. Our college focuses on a relevant curriculum and keeps upgrading the syllabus according to advancements. Semester-end exams are moderate in difficulty but hectic. Before semester exams, we have CIEs.
Other: Mechanical department is one of the oldest and best departments of RV college of engineering. It focuses mostly on application-based learning as well as we have various technical and non-technical clubs. Mechanical engineering can be more interesting if they give us opportunity to work on some projects under teachers’ guidance.

Placements statics are really good and number of offers increase every year.
Placements: About 70% of our seniors got placed in our course. On an average 8 Lacs per annum offered in our course. Minimum package is around 3-4 Lacs per annum in civil engineering. Top recruiting companies are sobha, Larsen and turbo, Atkins etc. The highest package is around 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is good and every branch has separate buildings and some renovations are going on for some branches. Wifi is moderate but it network speed is slow. Classrooms are good and library is big and have lot of books and very silent and good for studying in library.
Faculty: All teachers are good and all are Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality of all the teachers is well. Teachers are very helpful and they take individual care of each and every student. The semester exams in this college are moderate and passing percentage is around 75-80%.

The real RVCE experience.
Placements: Most of the eligible students are placed at the start of the placement session itself, with placement percentage reaching up to 80%. The highest and lowest packages vary depending on the year but the average keeps increasing each year, with this year's average being 1100000. The top companies were Cisco, Boeing, Airbus, Bosch, Mercedes and many others. Not many students get internship in there third year but some with good profile are selected in companies such as Boeing, Airbus, etc. The top roles offered are core mechanical, consulting, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent overall, with Wi-Fi connections across the campus. The buildings are old, with new ones coming up, and are well-equipped with a lot of equipment. Hostels are available to very few students but they are well maintained and the food and facilities provided are good. There are a lot of sports opportunities, with matches and tournaments being held almost every month.
Faculty: Most faculty members hold a degree and have thorough knowledge of their field and subject. I would say teaching is decent but could be better. The course curriculum is, in my opinion, slightly outdated but efforts are being made to make the course industry ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, which one can pass by studying some weeks in advance of the semester-end exam. Passing percentage is generally 90% + in easier to moderate courses but in difficult courses some students are not able to clear on their first attempt.

As you have got 107 marks in Uni-gauge 2018 and hadn't applied for ComedK so you will not get RV College in this case as RV College of Engineering accepts ComedK score, not Uni-gauge score. Unigauge score is accepted by a few institutions only in Karnataka.
