An amazing college! Any student can join here for a bright future.
Placements: All students in this course are placed in good companies with decent packages. The package range varies from 4 Lacs to 10 Lacs per annum. Top companies recruiting our students include SHELL, CPCL, ONGC, NIPPON, THIRUMALAI MANUFACTURERS, TPI COMPOSITES, NGC, and others from various regions. They hire for roles in both management and fieldwork based on their scores.
Infrastructure: This course is facilitated with many labs, and in 2022, we obtained patents for hydrogen-related labs. All labs are wisely facilitated and more spacious, aiding students in peaceful and comprehensive practical learning. Free Wi-Fi is available for all students, including hostellers and day scholars. There is a hut cafe and hotspots for eating purposes. The hostels are equipped with gyms, playing areas, and medical rooms for emergencies. Students are promptly sent to the institution-run hospital when necessary.
Faculty: All faculty members in this course are supportive of students' academic and personal issues. Staff members are highly qualified in their domains with significant experience, capable of greatly assisting students in their lives. The curriculum, set by the HOD of the department, is highly relevant and regularly updated to meet the demands of this competitive world, ensuring students face no issues in core and technological aspects.
Other: I am from the 2019 regulation, which is updated exponentially compared to the previous 2017 regulation. Students are trained both rigorously and intelligently. Since the chemical engineering department is fundamental to any stream, students extensively learn and are placed. During their final year, each student is given three opportunities: two placements from their core and one related to the IT sector. However, the quality of the company they secure depends on the skills and knowledge developed during this course and college.

A good college to opt for chemical engineering.
Placements: We are the second batch in the department, thus have no placement record. As of now 5 of our seniors are placed in TCS. Saint gobain was the core company that had come up and we expect more to come. We had our internships done in large and small industries like the CPCL, IOC, Balmer Lawrie, India Cements, Cetex petrochemicals, And also in foriegn universities like the Swinburn University in Australia.
Infrastructure: The department has established all required lab with necessary amenities and is currently working on the ASPEN software lab. It doesnot have any research facilities or any research projects yet. The hostel facilities are nominal and are decent. The food in the mess is good and a bit costly. The medical facilities include a dispensary and major cases are attended in the Saveetha Hospital opposite to the college. The college is renowned for its volleyball team and has a good set of Sportsmen and women.
Faculty: There are 9 faculty members as of now in the department with an Adjunct faculty. The staff are very well experienced and 3 of them posses their Ph.D. degrees and the adjunct faculty is an industrial person. The staff are co operative and supporting. Their teaching methods are up to the date and they keep updating themselves. The course curriculum is updated every year to cater the needs of the society and also to the demands of the industry.
