Register and Apply
Interested candidates have to register online with required information. Non-refundable online registration fee is a mandate without which candidate’s application would not be considered for further processing. Final Selection
Admission is based on the marks obtained in qualifying exam. Selected list of admitted candidates would be displayed on the DU admission portal. Admission is confirmed only if online admission fee is paid with in the stipulated time. One candidate can take admission only in one course in one college at any given time.

Shivaji college makes my college life memorable. Highly recommended.

Placements: For B.Sc. students placement is very low as such no core company visit in the college and students are not that much interested in other companies. Most of the students pursue higher education and prepare for civil services and other exams. B.Sc. physical sciences with Chemistry means general B.Sc. in Science (PCM) which comes under Chemistry department.

Infrastructure: Campus of shivaji college is very nice and beautiful but hostel facility is not available. Otherwise college has Good infrastructure, well established Labs and library and classrooms. Free Wi-Fi for students. For medical facility college has own infirmary inside the campus. College has Shivaji Sports Complex for sports and other physical activities. College canteen provides hygienic food in minimum price.

Faculty: Highly qualified teaching faculty, teachers are very helpful and motivated. Regular classes and lab. With course curriculum, college focus on other Co-curriculum activities. Semester exams conduct by University. Various societies present in the college which provides students opportunity to show their talents .

Other: I love college fest and other events. Ragging free campus. Friendly environment. Best thing for girls college provide 3% relaxation in admission to girls students. Highly recommended.

The college is good, and it provides good infrastructure, facilities, sports ground, and a library.

Placements: 40% of students got placed in my course. The highest package offered is 4.8 LPA, the average package is 3 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.4 LPA. The top recruiting company for our course is TCS. 60% of students got internships from our course in Wipro, and some are doing their own business. The top roles offered in our course are scientific assistant, lab assistant, research assistant etc.

Infrastructure: Our college provides Wi-Fi connection for the students to study, and there are adequate and sufficient laboratories. There is a huge library with all kinds of books, like academics and storybooks, and also seven to eight types of newspapers for reading. Facilities in our hostel are good, and they provide three meals a day. The sports ground is very beautiful with green grass, and we can play cricket, tennis, football etc.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, and they help anytime when you reach out to them. They are well qualified, and some did PhDs and some did M.Phill. They have vast knowledge of their stream. Teaching quality is the best, and they taught us using all the sources like projector, computer, board etc. This course curriculum is relevant for higher studies, research, teaching, and it makes students industry-ready. The students can easily get a job after completing their studies.

Our college has a good infrastructure, along with one of the huge grounds under Delhi University.

Placements: Our college didn't provide information regarding placements conducted in our course. Even there would have been internships for our course. Moreover, our college doesn't discuss future prospects thoroughly and about the offering of career opportunities related to our course. Seminars should be arranged here.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-furnished, and the labs are also equipped with all the latest equipment. The speed of the Wi-Fi facility is also high. The library is very spacious so that many students can sit at a time and study. Books are also available in good quantity so that every student has access to them.

Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable about the topic and subjects which they teach. But they should make students aware of future prospects of some courses. Some of the courses don't seem to make students industry-ready, as there were no placements and seminars.

Other: I have chosen this course as I am a science background student from schooling. The best thing about our course is you can learn one new subject every year. I wish that our college should improve career opportunities related to our course. Extensive information must be provided to students.

My experience at this college is very good. Teachers of the college are very cooperative.

Placements: B. Sc with chemistry is a general course, and to take admission in our college, a student must secure a minimum of 85% in PCM. We are B.Sc students, and there are no such placements in our college. B.Sc students mainly focus on competitive exams, but our college mates told me that there are many companies which visit our college. Last time I have seen Paytm. The salary package depends on students, and the salary package is offered on that basis.

Infrastructure: As you know that our college comes under Delhi University, facilities and infrastructure are very good. Labs are normal, but there is no Wi-Fi for students. The library is awesome, and everything is available in the library like newspaper, every book, whether it is of the foreign author or Indian author. In our college, there are different grounds for every sport. There is only a girls' hostel in college, so I don't know about its quality. The boys' hostel is under construction.

Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and are always ready to clear all the doubts of students. Teachers are highly qualified, and some of them have done many types of research in different fields. This course renders good knowledge about science, and we also got a good knowledge of day to day life. This course does not make students ready for industry.

Other: I have chosen this course because this course has three main subjects, like physics, chemistry and maths, which help to do higher education in any one of these subjects. The college should conduct practical activities more than theoretical activities. It conducts a festival for the entertainment of students named Vibration in January. It also makes fee concession for the economically weaker section and different backward classes.

They got placed in a very good position in their field. The Shivaji College's placement cell has been the reason for the success of thousand students in the previous years, and it will be the reason for the successful future of students in the upcoming time too.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well designed and maintained. It is one of the reputed colleges in the University of Delhi which has 4 computer labs, well large and airy library, physics labs, chemistry labs, botany labs, zoology, geography, well-equipped classrooms and English departments. It also has two parks which are full of greenery for the students.

Faculty: The Shivaji College has different faculty like chemistry, physics, maths, English, geography, political science, Sanskrit, Hindi faculty members and many more. There are many courses offered in the Shivaji College like B.Sc (h), physics, chemistry, maths botany, zoology and B.Sc physical sciences, life sciences, including the BA(h) English, political science, geography and few more courses including B.Com and B.Com(h).
