The 2020-2024 Review of VJTI Civil.
Placements: In my course, some students were interested in placements, whereas some of them went for higher studies. The companies that offered us were Lodha, Axella, LnT, K. Raheja, Technimont, etc. The highest package in our course was 14 LPA and the average package was 5 LPA. Considering the students who sat for placements, the placement percentage was roughly around 80-85 percent. It’s compulsory to do an internship of at least 6 weeks in the summer break of our third year. Various internship offers are available from our faculty members in companies like CIDCO, Coastal Roads Project, KPM Engineering, etc. as a site executive. However, these internship offers are unpaid. For paid internship offers, you can try for off-campus opportunities.
Infrastructure: As the college is one of the oldest colleges in Maharashtra, the infrastructure is not to the point. However, multiple renovation works have started in the college to improve the infrastructure. The classrooms are huge and air-conditioned with modern technological equipment like Samsung screens and projectors. The hostels are very clean and spacious. These hostels are very affordable; however, they have quite limited seats.
Faculty: The college is autonomous and the curriculum is up-to-date. The teachers are very friendly and helpful. They are always available when you have any doubt or issue. The semester exams are a bit easier as the faculty members set the paper themselves, so we are well-acquainted with the syllabus. There are hardly 2-3 students in a batch who fail in a subject. The cases of year drops are very low.
Other: VJTI is one of the most reputed colleges. The curriculum VJTI had for my course is comparatively better than other colleges. The best part about our course was we were given a chance to carry out the work practically by visiting sites, etc. One thing I would like to change about this course is the strict attendance nature, which was not much seen in other courses of our college.

Really good infrastructure and extracurricular activities are top-notch.
Placements: I am not in my final year, so I have less idea, but I have heard companies like City Bank and TCS come to hire interns with a really great stipend. The percentage of students getting hired depends on the branch itself, but some branches, like CS, have almost 100% recruitment.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. The new infrastructure is better than the old one; the old ones are a little worn out, but the new classes are great with air conditioning, proper ventilation, and projector facilities. Wi-Fi is available throughout the college for all departments, and the labs are in good condition. The library has all the books we need during the exam season.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but the teacher assistants may not be as helpful as expected. The old faculty members are very reputed and teach very well, despite being a little strict. Some of the new faculty members appointed are great; they teach really well and make the subject interesting.
Other: Fest like Ranga Vardhan, enthusiasm, Pratibimb, and Technovanza are the best.

The college has great events and placements. It only lacks infrastructure.
Placements: The college has a very good placement rate. In the last year, around 75-80% of students got placed on campus. The highest salary package offered for civil engineers is 14 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Almost all college students get an internship. Some students got paid internships and some got unpaid internships.
Infrastructure: The civil department in the college has very good infrastructure. All the facilities are provided in classrooms. The lab instruments are precise. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus area. The hostel conditions are not that good. The hostel has poor infrastructure, but the mess food is good.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are PhD holders from IITs. They have vast knowledge in their respective fields. The schedule of the college is so busy, like 9 AM to 5 PM job. The college starts from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Semester exams are quite tough, and the minimum percentage required for passing is 35%.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to apply for a government job and civil has a vast scope for them. The college should provide lectures for competitive exams like engineering services exams. Events are so well-organised and they are good.

Good infrastructure and overall good campus.
Placements: About 70% students got placement. And of remained 30% are either going abroad or preparing for civil services exams. The highest package was about 12 Lacs offered by non core company and the lowest offered was 3.6 Lacs. Average salary is 4.8 Lacs PA. For internship not a particular company is mentioned by college just have to go by ourselves and do it, as it was one of the subject and one day was reserved for it.
Infrastructure: All classrooms are AC and all fully digital. Have Wi-Fi access but at particular places only provided by college. Hostel is good with ample amount of space but infrastructure need to upgrade now. Have two grounds one is for football and other for other sports. Canteen is good with healthy and hygienic food and in economical prices. There are events regarding sports and cultural activities.
Faculty: Faculty is good with actual field experiences, so you will get more practical knowledge along with book knowledge. You just have to attend all the lectures for that. Exam pattern is not bad, syllabus is given and you have to study those points and go for it.

Great state government college to pursue engineering.
Placements: If you have skills, you will end up getting a good package. Also, the companies keep visiting the campus once the placement season starts. You can sit in all companies if you have a high CPI, irrespective of branch. The AVG package lies between 8 and 10 LPA, including core branches, where circuital branches are offered many more placements.
Infrastructure: The new PG hostel is great, but the other old blocks are not up to par. Classes are great, with each class having access to Wi-Fi. The old hostel has very small rooms and 2 to 3 students per room. Classes are good. Civil classrooms are the best in the entire college.
Faculty: You have one midsem and endesm during each sem. But the faculty prove to be disappointing; everything is more about self-study. Professors are approachable, but most of the lectures will be boring. As NEP has been followed by VJTI, it is a great change, and a branch-specific study is being carried out.

Yes you are eligible for VJTI for B.Tech lateral admission. Because the number of seats for B.Tech lateral are very limited so cutoff can goes higher above 85%. So chances of admission can be moderate here.
