Good placements, poor infrastructure.
Placements: 77% of students are placed, and the average package of my branch is around 12 LPA. It varies branch-wise; for the computer engineering branch, the average package is about 20 LPA. The highest package from my branch is 23 LPA, and the overall highest package was 50 LPA by Microsoft. Placements are quite good in VJTI, especially in technical branches.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is old, as the college was established in 1887. Its infrastructure has a quite old style, but renovations are in progress, and new hostels are also being constructed. The college campus is 16 acres, which is not very big, but the sports and mess facilities are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, well-qualified, and experienced. The course is slightly difficult but not too much, and it follows Mumbai University, a renowned university. The teaching quality is decent, and the curriculum is relevant, making students industry-ready to some extent.

Our college is worth the money paid.
Placements: Technology consultant, software developer, product engineer, and many other roles were offered to students. The average salary package offered was 8 LPA, and it was very good for beginners.
Infrastructure: The quality of the hostel was good. The mess facility was good. Sports facilities were good. The food served in the mess was good. There were 4 sections in the hostel, which included the A section, the B section, the C section, and the D section. A room was allotted based on the year of engineering. The library had thousands of books. All materials were good.
Faculty: Teachers were good and helpful. The syllabus was good. The curriculum was great.
Other: I would recommend joining this college.

Good for placements; I really recommend it for placement.
Placements: Percentage of placement is around 80 to 87. The average package for Electronics is 8 to 10 LPA. To get placed easily, students must maintain a record of 7.5 and above. As Electronics is a core branch, students have many options to shift to particular courses, unlike Data Science and other courses.
Infrastructure: Food available in the canteen is good. The availability of hostels is limited, meaning not everyone can get a hostel. Hostel allotment is done on a merit basis, and candidates from outside Mumbai University are given preference. There are various communities in the college, so first-year students must explore them.
Faculty: The first semester is a little difficult, so studying diligently for it is essential; the rest of the semesters are easier. There is also a re-exam for students who fail a subject, so they don't get a KT in the first semester. Many co-curricular subjects hold marks, so don’t bunk them.

Review of my college "VJTI .
Placements: Vjti is known for its placement. The only thing which is best is its placement like average of 6-7 LPA. Which is very good in comparison to other private colleges. You can take admission in vjti if you want to grab good package. Almost every companies visit here.
Infrastructure: To be honest it's infrastructure is not so good. Civil department is best in comparison to other departments. There is no Wi-Fi in Hostel and not in college also. There is one canteen were you can get some food and snacks and Chain. Vjti has ground but not maintained. Library is good.
Faculty: Faculty are good and very helpful and we'll qualified. They teaching style is good. And they are always ready to help you for any issue. Those who want to study, will get so much opportunities. Faculty members are so good that you will not get disappointed.

VJTI is the best choice for state level colleges in Maharashtra.
Placements: The placement percentage for all branches at VJTI is above 85% at the initial stage. The remaining students get placed as time passes. The highest salary package was over 50 lakhs per annum, and the lowest was around 6 to 7 lakhs per annum. More than 400 internships were made in 2024. Companies that recruited from VJTI include SD Data Analyst, DSA, and others. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, and Accenture hire interns and graduates from VJTI.
Infrastructure: The college was built in the 1800s, and most of the classrooms are being renovated. They have Wi-Fi, and the library has lots of books and a large sitting area. The hostel facilities are below average, with some cleanliness and water issues. There are three boys' hostels and three girls' hostels, with a total of six blocks. The college canteen provides affordable food, and there are sports facilities such as football, cricket, and basketball grounds, as well as indoor games.
Faculty: The teachers at VJTI are helpful and qualified, and most have long teaching experience. However, some contractual faculty are not as good as the full-time faculty. The old syllabus was outdated, but the new course work is more relevant and focuses on practical knowledge. The exams are hard for a very small percentage of students, but if a student fails a course, they can retake the exam once a year.
Other: Our college provided guidance on scholarships offered by the government, private companies, and college alumni. The college had a lot of events and clubs for both freshers and seniors. The two cultural committees and the technology club were also very active. The student body managed these clubs and committees. The college is located in a very peaceful setting, and there are many extracurricular clubs and activities for students to participate in.
