PES University at Bangalore.
Placements: Considering the students' facilities, internships were arranged by the college itself and they would take care of the students in visiting the industries during the period of internship. We were able to gain a lot of work experience but won’t get any stipend. The highest salary provided to the students was 7.5 Lacs in top core companies.
Infrastructure: PES University is a wide university including a lot of courses. Specialized lecturers are appointed for all the courses. A higher area is allocated for parking and sports courts. The library, with an extensive collection of books by various authors, was arranged in the college library.
Faculty: Based on the scores in your board exams, seats for various departments are allotted. Entrance exam scores also decide the seat confirmation of the students. So, they are offering excellent academics with diverse opportunities for searching. Lecturers strictly follow the specific schedule for classes.

Slightly expensive for studies.
Placements: Placement classes are conducted more frequently compared to academic sessions. Companies like Hyundai, LG Electronics, and Havells visit for yearly placements. Cracking the placement tests of such companies is really hard, so we undergo rigorous training from the first semester itself.
Infrastructure: Students from different places come here to study, but there is no partiality or discrimination among them. The main aim of the college is to showcase the talents and skills of the students and help them succeed in their careers. But I'm not okay with the hostel food, so I would give it four stars.
Faculty: Academic sessions do not occur as often as placement training. Students are mostly asked to research and understand the concepts themselves. Tests and internals are conducted before approaching the semester for practice and to correct our mistakes during the main exams.

The world class learning powered by PES.
Placements: 88 percent of the students were placed this year from my course . Highest package was 63LPA and the lowest was 8LPA, and the average package was 12LPA. Intel, TI, Microsoft, Schneider, Schindler, and Google are the top recruiters. 80 percent are placed well.
Infrastructure: We have high-speed Wi-Fi connections, and all the classrooms in the campus are centrally AC with well-defined labs and courses. The hostel has amazing facilities, including food. We can enjoy life like at home in the hostel. The wardens are student-friendly and strict with ragging at the same time.
Faculty: The teachers here are very knowledgeable, and all are PhDs. They believe more in hands-on sessions rather than just teaching or reading the slides. The students are made industry-ready due to the course content . It's more industry-driven and real-life application-driven. The semesters, on a scale of 1 to 10, are to be given 8 on a level of difficulty to pass.

PES University, the one-stop destination to start your new chapters.
Placements: PES University is known for its placement drive and the renowned companies that come for the same. And as a placed student, I am very proud to say that this fact is indeed true. It is a guaranteed destination for placements with the best packages. The companies coming over for the core domain are way fewer than the companies that come in for the IT sector. But the continuous flow of companies is very much assuring and a great opportunity for the students here. However, this is the best place for talented students who are willing to put in their 100% effort.
Infrastructure: Besides all the academic and co-curricular facilities provided by our college, the campus itself is the most beautiful place to spend our day-to-day time in. The amenities are top-notch and cover all the domains like sports, leisure, and food. The hostels are clean and maintained to the standard. And apart from this, there are 5-6 canteens in every block with an aesthetic vibe and healthy and tasty food. These also provide a healthy space to work. The libraries, both old and the new ones, are a dream come true for book lovers and a great place for students to do their project work and study for their exams. And for sports enthusiasts, our campus provides a court for literally every sport: badminton, basketball, cricket, squash, and table tennis. The yearly sports competitions held by our college help us to showcase our sports talents. A two-storied gym with personal trainers provides a platform for students to maintain their fitness along with their academics. All in all, PES University focuses on the overall development of their students.
Faculty: As a student from the core branch, i.e., EEE, I would like to highlight one of the most experienced and excellent teaching staff, who have always motivated us and ensured that we gain a 360-degree learning experience. Our department faculty (and any department faculty as a matter of fact) are very approachable and knowledgeable. They have helped us through time and tide and in fact have shaped us into the most deserving engineers to come out as graduates. Due to the fact that our university is private, the frequency of examinations kept changing with time. However, on average, our university has ensured that we keep studying on a daily/weekly basis by keeping a high frequency of internal tests and one final exam. This becomes a habit but has also ensured that we build the discipline to study on a daily basis to ace our tests. They also provide semester-end and year-end scholarships to motivate students to perform better.
Other: Apart from academic roles, my campus has also given us a wide variety of extracurricular opportunities through clubs and fests. I am very proud to be a part of as many opportunities as possible that helped me maintain the balance between academics and hobbies. Hackathons that are sure to be conducted almost every month are also a great opportunity to build necessary skills and experiences to fill in our resume. Our college provides a variety of club activities like the drama club, the western dance club, the debate club, the classical dance club, the hackathon club, the arts club, the modeling club, etc. All these clubs are extremely easy to access and participate in. There are year-round club activities that keep happening for us to participate in and enjoy. And these clubs help us showcase our talents and polish our skills and hobbies. A few opportunities also allow us to build skills necessary to add up to our resume.

It is a great college if you are ready to put in your efforts.
Placements: Placements are excellent for CSE and ECE streams, but for other branches, it is not that good. There are almost 100% placements in CSE and ECE, but there are 70-90% of placements in other branches like EEE, ME, civil and bio-tech. Some of our seniors from the non-technical branch cracked placements in par or even better than most of the CSE and ECE students. However, they are very less in number.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise the college is not that great as a lot of construction work is going on in and around the campus. Most of the resources available in our college, like sports ground and gym, can't be used due to construction work. All the other resources, like labs and canteen, have been maintained pretty well by the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are pretty good as they have pretty good knowledge of what they teach. The syllabus is also getting updated from time to time. Course curriculum wise the college is up-to-date, and almost every faculty member tries to motivate you to give your best and perform better in your field of interest.
