JEE Main Cutoff 2025: NTA will release the JEE Main 2025 cutoff along with the session 2 result. Candidates can check here the JEE Mains 2025 expected cut off, and previous year JEE Mains cutoff. NTA raised the JEE Main cutoff for all categories in 2024. It is expected that the cutoff might be lowered this year considering the difficulty level of the exam.
JEE Main cutoff for previous years helps to know the minimum marks required to qualify for the JEE Advanced exam. Candidates can also check the category-wise JEE cutoff below to learn the opening and closing ranks for college admission.
JEE Main cutoff are of two types- qualifying cutoff and admission cutoff. The qualifying cut-off of JEE Main 2025 comprises of the minimum score that JEE Main 2025 aspirants need to secure to be eligible for JEE Advanced. The admission cutoff of JEE Main 2025 are the opening and closing ranks for each institute and is released by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).
To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2025 candidates must secure more than or equal to the category-wise cutoff of JEE Main 2025. Only those candidates who meet JEE Main qualifying cutoffs will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced for admission to IITs in India. Candidates must secure minimum ranks (closing ranks) for admission to JEE Main participating institutes. Admission cutoffs for all the participating institutes will also be released after each round of JoSAA Counselling.
